Beautiful Meadow Views | Walk to Town | Sisters OR Vacation Cabin

You'll feel like you're a world away, while being within walking or biking distance to downtown Sisters. Just minutes to shops and restaurants, cozy Meadow View Cabin offers peace and quiet on 10 acres with sage, junipers and towering pines. The Cabin overlooks 60 acres of natural meadow bordered by seasonal Indian Ford Creek. Wildlife abounds . . . watch deer, coyotes, bunnies, hawks, eagles, vultures, occasional wild turkeys and multiple other bird species from the spacious front deck. A short walk to the ‘brace post’ at the northeast corner of the property offers a sitting deck with four chairs and views of the Cascade Mountains from Three Fingered Jack to the South Sister. 

Your hosts, the Owners, live on the property in an adjoining building which is connected by a covered walkway.
The Cabin has an open floor plan with a loft, living room with a beautiful wood stove, fully equipped kitchen/dining area including a compact refrigerator, and bathroom with shower and laundry facilities.

Beautiful wood floors, beams, ceilings and trim. There are two separate sleeping areas in the loft, one with a queen bed and one with a twin XL. A double futon is located in the main floor living area. Other amenities include a gas Weber barbeque, outdoor seating and dining tables, free fire wood and an outdoor shower. Bicycle rentals are available in nearby Sisters.

Children 5 and older welcome. Because of the wood stairs to the loft sleeping areas, the Cabin is not good for young children under 5, elderly, or people with mobility challenges. Sorry no pets allowed at the Cabin, the owners have kitties on the property. The Cabin and the surrounding property are smoke free.

Upon making a reservation please note that signing a rental agreement will be necessary before you are granted access to the property.

We went away for 2 nights for a respite from 24/7 care. It was perfect! It was such a peaceful place and there are so many nature places to visit within a short drive. The owners checked in with us via text several times to make sure we didn't need something.

Peaceful haven

Beautiful setting. Immaculately clean. Gorgeous vista with a resident outdoor mighty white Persian kitty lurking the property with great majesty. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Nicely appointed place. I did have to purchase my own cinneman but that is minor compared to all else!

Excellent stay!!

Perfect weekend trip to this cabin! We came into town for a house showing but wanted to enjoy the natural surroundings rather than staying at a hotel. Our stay was peaceful and enjoyable. Would absolutely stay again.

Great spot, but would say it only sleeps three.

Lovely place on a lovely piece of property. My partner and I stayed here with one of our couple friends (four of us total). The description says it sleeps 4, with a queen bed in the loft, a twin XL in the loft, and a double fouton. I don't expect a person could sleep on the fouton, as the pad was about 4ft x 4ft. So really only the queen bed and the twin XL, so I would say it sleeps 3 comfortably. Luckily my partner and I brought a queen air mattress we used on the floor instead. With that being said, it was clean, well stocked, plenty of towels and firewood, and the property owners were nothing but friendly in the couple interactions we had with them. We walked into downtown Sisters via the quiet neighborhood roads, and the walk took about 20 minutes. Not bad at all. I would stay here again if it were just my partner and I.

Wonderful secluded spot close to town

My wife and I loved this property. It was perfect for the two of us. Quiet and very scenic. Beautiful patio area. Also very close to town. The hosts were very kind and thoughtful.

Meadow View Cabin

This is a sweet cabin with a meadow and sky view and great places on the deck and around the cabin to settle in with a good book. Very nicely equipped and very comfortable. We had a chance to meet the owners. Such lovely people. Thank you!

Place is great. Clean. Cozy (small). Warm. Killer fire place. No tub. No tv. The only issue I had was. I was not aware the owners are as close as they are full time. But they keep to them self and are super polite. It is a great cabin for a weekend get away

Fantastic vacation!

This property is as described! Cute little cabin, well appointed, clean, nice furnishings, in the quant little town of Sisters. It was close to wonderful hiking and outdoor activities. The grounds were breathtaking, as it backs up to a nature reserve. Extremely quiet. Owners are on site and very pleasant. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends.

Beautiful place to stay

We has a great time staying at this beautiful home. The view from the back is amazing. We were able to walk to town and it was only a short drive to the mountain. Frank & Kathy were wonderful and always made sure we had what we needed.

Meadow cabin getaway

Beautiful, peaceful location, deck overlooking meadow- a great place to hang out after a day of hiking, as well as playing Scrabble ( provided). You wouldn't know that the cabin is within walking distance of town. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked- we didn't need to bring spices and olive oil, for instance. There is also a very nice library-resources for local activities, bird books, and a collection of western writers. The owners , who live in a connected house, are helpful and friendly, and at the same time respectful of our privacy. If it weren't for COVID, we might have enjoyed getting to know them better.
