Location

The house is quietly situated in a residential neighbourhood of Sirmione on the southern shores of Lake Garda. This popular resort extends onto a narrow peninsula into the lake and is renowned for its cultural heritage and natural beauty. Popular sites include: the 13th century Castello Scaligero (a 10-minute drive), the remains of Grotte di Catullo, a Roman Villa at the tip of the peninsula (a 15-minute drive) and the thermal springs Terme di Catullo (a 13-minute drive).

For beach days, guests can head to the clear waters of Jamaica Beach at the tip of the peninsula, Spiaggia Lido delle Bionde (both a 15-minute drive) or Spiaggia Lido di Lugana Sirmione (a 5-minute drive / 20-minute walk).

For self-catering Sirmione Farmers market takes place on Wednesday mornings in Piazza Virgilio (a 5-minute walk). This is the ideal place to pick up the very best local ingredients. There is also a restaurant and a supermarket within a 5-minute walk of the apartment.

Visitors of all ages can spend a fun-filled day at one of the nearby theme parks, Gardaland and Movieland, both a 20-minute drive). There are also several boat hire centres and windsurfing schools close by.

The closest international airport is Verona Villafranca Airport (VRN), approximately a 35-minute drive.
