Take a step back in time when you enter Perry Mansion! Our home is a nationally registered historic property built in 1912 by prominent SF businessman, George Perry.

GRAND FOYER

PARLOR & SOLARIUM
-Ornate fireplace, beautiful built-in leaded-glass cabinets, and gorgeous ceiling beams.
-Grand piano, a vintage record player, + plenty of seating.
-Three walls of windows provide beautiful, natural light in Solarium
-The Perrys used this room for afternoon tea and we hope you do too!

KITCHEN & FORMAL DINING ROOM
-Breakfast nook contains a nice bay window, providing a nice view of the gardens.
-All the kitchen essentials you need -the majority of which are vintage!
-Formal dining table seats up to 8 guests and is perfect for special meals together!

STUDY
-Used as an office by G.H. Perry, many significant business decisions were made within these walls.
-Desk, chair, and comfy seating for you to get some work done.

BEDROOMS
-Peacock Suite: This room was once the master suite of George H. & Marguerite Perry. Includes a queen-sized bd and en suite bathroom.
-Rosewood Room: Intended as a bedroom for the Perry children back in the 1900`s, we`ve included two twin beds in this room.
-Curio Room: Designed for overnight visitors from out of town back in the day. Enjoy a king-sized bed!
- Hubbard Room: This room was once used to house live-in staff in the 1900`s. Enjoy a full-sized bed in this room.

BATHROOMS
-Priming Room - Tucked under the back stairs on your way into the kitchen is a small half-bath.
-Washroom: This 2nd floor space boasts an elegant claw-foot tub, pedestal sink, and separate shower.
-En Suite Bathroom - A full size bathroom is located in the Peacock Suite and boasts a shower & sink.

Guests will have access to the entire home with the exception of the basement and the attic.

Perry Mansion is located in the historic Cathedral District. Many homes in the neighborhood are nationally registered historic homes. We are in the heart of the city, just a flew blocks from downtown Sioux Falls!

Getting around is easy! We are just a 10-minute walk to downtown Sioux Falls. We also have Uber + Lyft which are very affordable and reliable. Plenty of parking is available on the grounds. Four cars can park on the driveway and plenty of street parking is available on both sides of the house as well.

We hope you feel like you stepped back into the early 1900`s when you visit Perry Mansion. If you have children with wandering hands, this may not be the best fit for you as many of the items in the home are vintage and antique.

Please note, we have done our best to furnish the home with amenities that you would find in the early 1900`s and therefore you will not find all the modern amenities that you would typically find in a rental such as a TV. We do however have wi-fi if you need it.

Our properties are protected by Truvi. Please note that once you have booked, your booking confirmation will include your Truvi verification link. Please make sure this is completed prior to check-in.

FAQs

Early check-in?
- We cannot guarantee an early check-in. We use the precious little time we have to prepare the home, as well as to perform any maintenance tasks. We want it to be perfect for you! Assume check-in will be at 4pm. You can message us on the day of your arrival and we can let you know when the home is ready for you. If you have a flight that arrives early in the day, consider booking the night before so you can check-in as soon as you are ready.

Late Check-out?
- No. Our home is in high demand! Just as we did for your arrival, we must prepare again for the next guest. If your flight leaves late in the day, consider booking an additional night so you can leave at your leisure.

Do you allow events/weddings to be held at your home?
-Feel free to reach out to us to inquire about events/weddings! We do require a nightly stay for a all events/weddings.

Do you allow luggage drop-off for early arrivals or late departures?
- No, unfortunately we are unable to offer luggage drop-off at this time.

Is this a shared home?
- Nope! It`s all yours!

Do you offer a cleaning service?
- Yes! If our schedule allows, we can accommodate additional cleaning services on a weekly basis, for an added cost. Just ask us!

Can I book on behalf of a friend, family member, or co-worker?
- No. This is against our policy.
