Escape to the Pines – get away while staying connected
Just two hours from the Valley, our forest retreat is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nestled among the tall pines, this spacious and inviting cabin offers comfort, fun, and plenty of room for family and friends.
Inside, you’ll find four main bedrooms: a master suite on the main floor with a king-sized bed, two upstairs bedrooms with beautiful forest views, plus a cozy side room with two bunk beds. The great room is open and welcoming, complete with a large TV and very fast Starlink Wi-Fi.
We have also added a charging plug (bring your own cable) for your EV.
For entertainment, head downstairs to the game room, featuring foosball and air hockey tables. Outside, we’ve expanded the west yard—perfect for a hammock, cornhole, or just relaxing in the cool mountain air.
The wrap-around deck is ideal for morning coffee or evening stargazing. Our spacious driveway provides plenty of parking, and we’ve stocked the outdoor area with a fire pit, BBQ grill, roasting prongs for s’mores and hot dogs, and a cornhole set.
Located on Summer Loop, the cabin is just a short walk or drive to local ponds where you can enjoy picnics, fishing, or winter sledding.

Beautiful cabin at a perfect location! Had a wonderful Christmas with the family with plenty of space. Ron did a great job with communication and was very helpful. Will definitely be coming back soon!

We had the most relaxing, healing and beautiful stay at the cabin. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and so clean! It was truly a home away from home! The outdoor spaces made everyday so enjoyable, and the barbecue grill was an extra amenity that we loved! The location is perfect…away from the crowds, yet close to gas, supplies etc. if needed. Daily walks in this gorgeous location were also a favorite of ours! We were even able to work remotely because the Starlink WiFi worked perfectly! The hosts were gracious, kind and so easy to communicate with. We appreciated the attention to detail and can’t wait to get away again!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We were in town for a wedding, and it was very conveniently located to the wedding and reception. We enjoyed the games and puzzles during our downtime and found this to be a very relaxing place.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an incredible stay at Ron and Marilyn's cabin over Thanksgiving! The cabin itself is absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect blend of comfort and charm. Our family spent four amazing days there, filled with fun and laughter. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. Great Forest Lakes cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin for a family reunion. It is very nice and modern. It has good air conditioning (needed in July) and wi-fi. The kitchen was well equipped to cook in.

Wonderful location Beautiful home Gentlemanly host Only “issue” was at the time of our visit one of the couches recliners was broken (previous guests) and the living room fireplace was inoperable. But overall we all had such a great time and we would all recommend to anyone.

Lovely stay at Forest Lakes Home

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin! It was spacious enough for our multigenerational family of 12, and having 2 refrigerators was very helpful! The outdoor space, in the form of a wrap-around deck, was especially great. Because the picnic tables and rocking chairs were lightweight, we could easily move them wherever the shade was falling on the deck. Loved using the firepit as well as the games/puzzles that were included. Working with the cabin owners was wonderful, and communication is their strong suit! We would definitely recommend this cabin to others who want to enjoy the beautiful forests, streams and lakes in this part of AZ!
