This shot was actually taken just outside Winton, 180km from Longreach! I wish I knew how to add locations to Trover! Lol. I love Winton because it's the really real Aussie outback. The dinosaur museum is world class and well worth a visit and a tour. The food is great at Tattersalls pub and the rooms are clean and cool at the North Gregory.
Small airport. Tip: if you don't have pick up organised, there are no taxi's outside waiting.

The room was great, clean and comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. It was close to the attractions I wanted to visit. They provided helpful information about dining and transport. It was exactly the type of place I wanted to stay.

Didnt get there, because of mother nature, the road was closed, rang to tell them, was told no refund. So wasnt to happy, as it wasnt our fault we couldnt get there.

Cockroaches in room, killed 2 of them, one on my bed & the other in the bathroom. Also had 2 gecko lizards on interior wall of my room, I put them outside as they are harmless little gecko lizards. The entrance door has a gap at the bottom that would be big enough for an eastern brown snake to enter ...
