  • Ubicado entre los pinos en un hermoso lote de 1 acre, encontrarás esta maravillosa casa personalizada de un solo nivel. Se encuentra a solo unos minutos del lago McCumber y a poca distancia en auto del monte. Parque Lassen. La unidad circular sinuosa conduce a la cochera que ofrece una entrada formal y acceso cubierto a la puerta principal. Te encantará la espaciosa cocina cargada de hermosos gabinetes de abedul y resaltada por los magníficos electrodomésticos de granito y acero inoxidable. Un retiro del dormitorio principal tiene muchas ventanas para disfrutar del ambiente privado y sereno. La ducha principal a ras de suelo tiene 2 cabezales y está bellamente alicatada del piso al techo. Best communication I've ever had with a host. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked and cookware was undamaged and great for use. Loved our stay as a base for Lassen Volcanic Park and McArthur Burney Falls.

What a wonderful property! And even though the temperatures were in the 90's sometimes, it was cool and comfortable in the house. The host was exceptionally helpful. Strongly recommend.

We had a girls’ weekend and the house was wonderful! The kitchen was fully stocked, great room super comfy, loved the front and back seating where we watched tons of deer roam the area. Lassen is maybe 15 minutes by car to the park entrance. The property was very clean and Mark was excellent at communicating. Highly recommend!

Great place! The home was spacious and had everything we needed for our trip to Lassen. Also, Mark our host was very friendly and provided us great tips for the area. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent with one caveat. No A/C. With July temps at 90 the house was high 70s. Tolerable and pretty comfortable with all the fans going. But if you have a special needs guest (e.g. epilepsy) who cannot tolerate warm environments it is worth thinking about. Would definitely revisit the excellent house and host. For me and my family it would not be in summertime.

Wonderful

It was a wonderful stay at this rental. The owner was very communicative before we arrived and provided a lot of info to ensure the best stay possible. Clean, quiet, large house outfitted with all you need to escape on a nice vacation.

The house is very pleasant, clean and the location close to Mt Lassen is superb. We had a wonderful time while staying here. There was a minor hiccup with the lock box password but we were able to contact the host and get it fixed.

Visiting Lassen

We enjoyed our stay in the mountains! This property was a great place for us to visit Lassen, go to Susanville to ride the Bizz Johnson trail and see the Sun dial bridge in Redding. The house had everything we needed and Mark is a great host

Very seasoned and experienced host.

Almost everything one might need to relax in a vacation house is arranged in the house. It's a simple beautiful and clean house. Great location for those planning visits to Lassen.

Wonderful home 5 minutes from Lassen entrance

We had great time at Mike's beautiful house near Shingletown. The house can not be cleaner, it is spacious, well equipped, it has everything you could ask for. We loved our stay and be back hopefully soon.

This house was a great launching point for visiting Lassen National Park. The house was cozy, clean, comfortable, and well stocked with essentials. The neighborhood was easy to access and quiet.

A comfy getaway with everything we needed

This house was the perfect home base for our Lassen trip with our 6-year-old and grandparents. We were very comfortable and Mark made sure that we had everything we needed, as well as gave us some great info on things to do and see nearby. The kitchen was very well equipped and we were able to eat every meal at the house because of that. If we are ever in the area again I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here several days as a base for visiting Lassen National Park. The house was as advertised and convenient to the north entrance of the park. We recommend you consider this rental.

Peaceful Getaway with Great Amenities and a Helpful Host

We had a wonderful stay at the Lake McCumber house! The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The kitchen was especially impressive — fully stocked with all the essentials and more. We had so much fun playing ping pong together, and the peaceful, beautiful setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The host was also fantastic — very friendly and helpful, and provided great suggestions for local day trips. Highly recommend!

Easy access to Lassen Natl park

Mark was great to deal with and we loved the house and location. Mule deers in back yard during our evening meals were a show we waited on each evening!

Great weekend getaway

We spent 3 nights in this awesome home in June. The weather was warm but the house stayed comfortable despite no air conditioning. We were struck by how quiet the neighborhood is—truly peaceful. The home is close enough to the small town on Shingletown for any supply runs and also a fairly quick drive into Lassen National park. Mark, the owner and host was very accommodating and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay!
