We rented a cabin right by the guest check in Cabin. Our cabin was perfect for our family of five, we have three kids from 8 to 11 years old and two miniature dogs that joined us. Bedding was provided and the mattresses were nice and firm, which fits are body preferences. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The hot tub on the back deck was a huge hit for our kids since spring break still bring some cooler days! The heated outdoor pool was a lot of fun for the kids but still a little chilly in the first week of April. We really love the front porch swing for morning coffees and afternoon relaxing. We took some hikes on the property and enjoyed those, the kids really loved playing in the waterfall which was only a half a mile hike, the water was cold but was not flowing fast at all so they could take their shoes off and catch some fish, crawdads, salamanders, and frogs! The fishing ponds were a lot of fun, we brought our own poles and when we checked in we got free worms in a tub from guest check-in! We would definitely come back to this beautiful Oasis away from the chaos of the downtown strips of Pigeon Forge (15 min drive) and Gatlinburg (35 min drive). There are several alpine slides, feeding goats on the roof, mini golf, grocery stores, Pizza place and a country store, the list goes on, all within 10 minutes! The only cons I had with our stay was the washer did not ring out the clothes well so it took longer to dry them.
