Welcome to your home away from home! Ideal for a Couple's Retreat or. a small family, this lovely quaint 1BR/1BA cabin Is tucked away in a private drive halfway between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The perfect mix of tranquility and conveniency.
This cozy little cabin offers a perfect getaway for a lovely couple, tight group of friends, or even some family!
It has one bedroom with a king size bed!The cozy living room with recliners and a pull out sofa bed has room for everyone to enjoy time together. The pull out sofa has a memory foam mattress on it, you won’t even know you’re sleeping on a pull out!
The kitchen is equipped with all the essentials! Plates, silverware, dishes, pots and pans, toaster, coffee, some baking needs.
Head out back onto the partially covered deck to grill out or soak in the hot tub! The views from the deck are impeccable and sometimes if you’re lucky, you can see a bit of Dollywood’s fireworks!
Upstairs there’s a loft with a washer and dryer, ironing board, and a pool table to show off your skills!
The Real McCoy is in the Arts and Crafts District of Gatlinburg! Head to the bottom of the hill to check out some of the local artists! (There’s a couple pieces in the cabin from our local artists) After you’ve checked out The Arts and Crafts District, head about 15 minutes into Gatlinburg for more shopping, dinner, the Sky Bridge, Anakeesta and so much more!
Head the other way about 15 min into Pigeon Forge, The Island and Mountain Mile!
You could even check out some hiking in The Great Smoky National Parks!
Tons to do around you then head back to The Real McCoy and enjoy your stay!

Perfect couples’ getaway

Stayed 4 nights with my partner. Loved the rustic log cabin decor. Hot tub was perfect (goes up to 104F!) Windy, narrow roads, but we are from the UK so are used to these! No disruption from Neighbouring house (I think we were lucky that the family staying there kept to themselves and weren’t noisy or rowdy) but the screens and set up makes it feel private nonetheless. Shame that the bbq is out the front of the house, but I can see why. It was slightly annoying to hear the hot tub making noises all night. Also, does Gatlinburg not do recycling? It seemed a shame to put all of our waste together into the general trash bin. We saw a bear one night crossing the road in front of our car not far from the house which was AWESOME! Loved the view, and the kitchen was well equipped. We turned the fireplace off completely because we had warm weather, and we were worried about wasting gas (the pilot light in the fire burns constantly). I can imagine that it’s a really nice addition in the cold winters though! Thanks for everything. Would definitely recommend.

Relaxing Weekend

Cabin and view are beautiful. The road getting there is steep and curvy definitely need 4wd if snowing. We enjoyed a very relaxing night in the Real Mccoy.

cabin tucked away in the woods

This cabin is perfect for two people. Everything that is said is true. Pool table hot tub and jacuzzi. The cabin was clean and tastefully decorated. Its right between Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. So you can escape the crazy down town activity and enjoy the seclusion of this cabin. We were active all day but at night we were enjoying all that the cabin has to offer. You need to bring coffee and creamer.

New Years Eve Trip

What a great little cabin, everything was as it was in the pictures. hot tub was a great add and we enjoyed it very much. The owner was very communicative and any thing I needed to ask she was there. We will defiantly look at renting this cabin again. I would highly recommend looking at this cabin if your looking for a get away to the mountains. Did I mention that it was the best location to Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge.

Perfect cabin!

This is the perfect cabin getaway for a couple! It’s quiet, peaceful, and secluded, while still only being 10-15 minutes away from everything. We had an issue with the messaging part of the VRBO app when we were trying to get our check in information. We were able to reach out to Chelsey’s cell directly and she was SO kind and helpful! Highly recommend, and we would definitely rent here again if we come back to the area!

BEST CABIN EVER!!!

First of all, the owners of this property are wonderful. They got back with all my questions within minutes of me asking. They are kind enough to leave a basket of goodies for their guests on the table when you arrive. The cabin is perfectly stocked with what you will need. The king size bed literally delivered the best night sleep this pregnant momma has had in 6 months. The hot tub, view, and privacy far surpass that of other cabins we passed while going up the mountain. You hit the jackpot if you are looking for comfort and beauty. My husband and I slept in the king bed while my mother-in-law and daughter slept on the pull out couch sleeper which was also comfy. This is well worth the money. And it was cheaper than staying in so many other hotels. The drive to town was super short. I can't say enough good things about our stay and the owners of this property. We will be back! I'd give 10 stars if I could!

Such a great getaway!

We loved our stay. The cabin was perfect for our little family. Very clean and well taken care of. My daughter said her favorite part of the WHOLE trip was taking a bath in the big tub 😆 Wonderful service with the owners, they were attentive and quick to respond. Very much recommend!

Excellent getaway!

We had an amazing time staying at this property. It was very clean and comfortable. Chelsey, the property owner, was very easy to get ahold and very communicative throughout our stay. We would highly recommend this location and can’t wait to come back.

Cabin was as pictured. Close to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville. Etc. Others complained about the narrow, curvy road but we are from WV, so no problem for us. Nice getaway for a couple!

Great Getaway

Our first time in a cabin and the Smoky Mountains. No shortage of things to do and this cabin was in an ideal setting and location. I read previous reviews where others commented on the windy roads - these were great and not as difficult as others made them out to be. The cabin description is spot on. Above average clean and comfortable. Chelsey the host was fantastic with her response time and supportive pre and post arrival. This was a great intro to cabin life and we would not hesitate to do it again. Highly recommended.

Cozy Retreat

We enjoyed our stay! The hot tub and bath tub jacuzzi were wonderful even on colder nights! We saw fireworks from the deck from Dollywood and the over all view of the mountain was beautiful! The winding roads up the mountain were a little intimidating but the cabin is definitely secluded away which is kind of what we were wanting (away from the busyness of the strip) but at the same time access to all the shopping and fun! Thanks for a cozy place to stay for our Thanksgiving trip!
