Everything was nice! The steps are fairly steep and windy like the road to the cabin. They gave a few members of our multi generational group some trouble but aside from that the stay overall was well needed and enjoyed. One of the microwaves went out during our stay and the oven took longer than usual to cook our food but there was an abundance of space for our family of 23 comfortably!

Easy check-in; Easy check-out. Please notify the owner to please purchase new skillets for the cabin. They ALL at rust on them and the coatings are peeling away. We had to purchase new skillets at Wal-Mart.

We spent a week with 2 related families that included 11 people from 4 yrs old to 63 yrs old. We had a fabulous week and enjoyed our stay immensely. Although the house says it will sleep 27, we doubt the stay would be comfortable for many more than we had. On the positive side: the views were indeed stunning; the game room and theater room offered a great space to gather and recreate; we enjoyed the outdoor spaces including the pickleball court, hot tubs, porches, grill and fire circle; the location was convenient to Sevierville, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National Park; the bedrooms were comfortable and it was wonderful they each had an en-suite bathroom with plenty of towels; it was very convenient to have a washer and dryer on site.On the less positive side: Many aspects of the home needed some maintenance including; the pots and pans are very old and scratched, most of the plates were chipped and broken, both dishwashers had broken top racks, there were only about a dozen coffee mugs and forks, most of the kitchen prep knives were totally dull, the bolts on the spiral staircases need to be tightened up up, the air hockey table is almost destroyed. These seem like easy and inexpensive fixes that would make the stay much more comfortable. Beware that the road is EXTREMELY narrow and winding and required extreme care to navigate ( as mentioned)…but it’s worth it for the view.Great property that could be stellar with some attention.

50th birthday family celebration

Our stay at La Conte was fantastic! . The place had so much space and different places for people to enjoy the spaces. The convenience of every room having its own bathroom is priceless. Hot tub was very clean and they had two of them to enjoy. The top floor was the great space and was large enough for the entire family to have fun! We danced played pool and ate birthday cake! The wet bar was so convenient for serving drinks and snacks. The place has three refrigerators so plenty of space to put food and drinks. Last but not least THE VIEW was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful with an endless smoky mountain landscape . I will recommend this stay to every large family staying in Sevierville .The memories we made will always live in our hearts.

Spectacular views of the Smokies

The view of the mountains was worth every penny. The house was big enough to sleep all 12 of us very comfortably. The house has some age related issues. Most notably the plumbing and grill

Great Family Get Together

It was a very short stay for us - 3 nights but I think someone at one time or another, use each facility: hottub, swimming pool, game room, decks. Kitchen was fantastic and well equipped.. Even made it into town for special events: Titanic, lunch, etc. The price is outrageous but if you can afford it, it is great.

A View with Lots of Problems in the Cabin

Here is our experience with the LeConte Overlook. A great view and good gathering spaces… but problems? A lot, and here are a few. 1. All floor surfaces were filthy. 2. Kitchen was ill equipped for cooking and preparing meals. 3. Kitchen cabinets had dirty finger prints in many spots. 4. Some of the dishes were dirty and we had to wash them before use. 5. Bedroom 1 had a broken shower door. Guests had to use another bathroom to shower. 6. Bedroom 5 had a broken shower handle. 7. Most bedroom mattress covers were stained and dirty. 8. Bedroom 2 did not have a bottom sheet for the king bed. We asked three times for sheets to be brought in and no response from the management of the cabin. 9. Cockroaches in the upstairs bedrooms and in the game room. 10. Hot tub on the bottom floor had a foul odor coming from it when the lid was lifted. We asked for the water to be changed and no response from management. 11. No toilet paper provided in two of the bathrooms. These are just a few of the issues we had. We felt like everywhere we went in the cabin that is was dirty and not clean. Strongly recommend another choice if you have it. Our guests were unhappy with the facility from a cleanliness and maintenance perspective. When management did not respond, we made the best of it. In fairness to them, they did offer to clean the floors but we did not want the hassle of having someone come to the cabin while we were there and the safety of our possessions.

Great Views but beware of the roaches!

The views out the cabin were breathtaking! The house was big enough to fit us all comfortably and the game room kept the kids busy! The house was not that clean and the roaches were pretty gross! The roaches stayed mostly in the kitchen. Called management with no call back so 2 days later drove to the office and sent exterminator but did not really help. The ride up to the cabin was a little scary - twists and turns with serious drop off with no railings and barely room for 2 vehicles. We did enjoy our time with everyone just wish the house was cleaner.

Excellent view,

Nice property, great location, but there are upgrades due to hard use but they didn’t affect our stay. Cleanliness was mediocre, there were cockroaches, but it’s a forest. We would go back. Everyone had a great time. The rooms, hot tubs, movie and game room’s were in constant use at night.

Leconte Overlook Vacation

Leconte Overlook is a great vacation property with fantastic views. Our family enjoyed the property, the cabin was in great condition and included most of what we needed. One of the hot tubs required cleaning and management responded and had it cleaned the next day. Also had trouble getting some of the TV's to work but management took care of it quickly also. The location of cabin is very convenient to everything we wanted to do in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg area's. We would recommend this place to everyone and we hope to come back again soon.

Views are worth every penny!!

The pictures just don’t do the view justice! We rented the house for our friends and family to stay while we got married. The house was beautiful and decorated immaculately. Not a complaint but a heads up if you have any guests that have issues with mobility the winding metal staircases might be a little difficult. They connect all the floors and you have to go down at least 1 level to get to bedrooms. Thank you LeConte Overlook for an amazing weekend and priceless memories ❤️

Business Retreat

This property was perfect for our business retreat as it had a separate bedroom and bathroom for each attendee. We enjoyed the game room and the movie room. We used the charcoal grill because we couldn't figure out how to turn the gas on the propane grill, and we enjoyed the fire pit. My only feedback is to have nicer kitchen utensils (pots, pans, serving bowls, etc). Also, I am used to some leftover supplies in a kitchen such as coffee filters, tin foil, and salt/pepper. This kitchen was completely empty of any extra stock. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay. The view is absolutely breathtaking! I was amazed that the view was unobstructed!

Spacious and comfortable with views galore.

House is as pictured. Gorgeous views, roomy gathering spaces, and clean. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen is great for a big group: 2 refrigerators, 2 sinks, and 2 dishwashers. Convenient to Sevierville, Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Would definitely stay here again! Please note that the only way to get from floor to floor is by spiral staircase, which could be a problem for some. There are 4 main floors with theatre on the 5th.
