I loved this cabin!! It’s on the smaller side, but it was perfect for my family which consists of my husband, 5 year old, 1 year old, me, and our cocker spaniel. We were so tired every night we didn’t use the hot tub, but I did use the soaking tub-perfect, kids loved it as well! Our 12 month old only crawls and the knees of his white pajamas stayed white. Super clean cabin!Just some things to note:The mattresses were on the softer side which did not bother me at all. My husband likes firmer mattresses, so the ones in the cabin did hurt his back. There is no ice maker/trays in freezer so make sure to pick up a bag of ice or water bottles. The tap water was absolutely fine and had no funky taste so I just put some tap water in the glasses provided and stuck them in the freeze while we were out for the day, and that worked fine for us. There is also no washer/dryer so if you do have a party of 6 staying- you might need to bring extra towels if you are staying for more than a few nights. We did not need to get in touch with the host, but the check in/check out was easy peasy. Instructions were clear.Remember this is in the mountains! Some roads will be steep- we have a mini van and made it fine. Sometimes I see reviews of cabins in the mountains with people complaining about the steep roads, and this one does have a steep right turn to get up to the cabin… but that’s to be expected becuase like I said- you’re in the mountains! I would stay again in this cozy cabin!
