We always wipe down and disinfect everything after each guest and change the water in the Hot tub.
'1 of a Kind', a 1,200 square foot log cabin, is nestled snugly in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin's stairway is handcrafted from the Cedar trees that were harvested to build the cabin. You will enjoy total seclusion because this cabin is located at the very top of a private Mountain. From the two large wooden decks and the cozy balcony, you can watch the beautiful Sunrise and the Sunset.
Cabin Layout: The first-floor level has the living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, the bedroom with a King size bed, a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a 4-head custom-built tile shower. The bathroom is completely handicapped-accessible.
Soak your aching muscles in the indoor jacuzzi whirlpool tub or the big, bubbling hot tub on your private deck while you enjoy the magnificent 360 degree views. Enjoy cooking up a memorable meal in the fully-equipped kitchen or on the handy charcoal barbecue grill outside. The cabin also features original paintings by artist Judy Doench
The game room (upstairs level) is well furnished for your enjoyment with a fun pool table, numerous board games, and a futon. The second Bathroom, with its custom tile shower, is on this level.
Other unique features '1 Of A Kind' offers are 3 sets of French Doors you can open to feel like you are right outside, a fun outdoor fire pit for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows and even a unique romantic indoor waterfall located in a corner of the living room.

My husband and I come to the smokies every year for our anniversary. This is our first time staying in this cabin, and it was BY FAR our favorite place we’ve stayed in the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville area. We usually stay closer to gatlinburg thinking it’s more convenient, but this was honestly better! It was a short drive to everywhere we wanted to go, and the cabin was so much more secluded than other places we have stayed. But also easy to find and get to. The hot tub was very hot and clean! The view was amazing, especially star gazing from the hot tub at night! The king sized bed was sooooo comfortable, and I loved the wood burning fire place in the living room! There was a double shower with a rainfall shower head, and a large jetted bathtub in the master. PERFECT spot for a romantic getaway. There’s also a futon in the game room. The only issue we had was no wifi (that we know of), but that may have been due to the secluded location. There was satellite TV, and our T-mobile cell phones had decent service. John was a pleasure to work and communicate with! He was in the middle of building a treehouse cabin next door, which we are excited about staying at once it’s finish! Don’t pass this place up. It’s perfect! Thank you John!

Beautiful views! Loved being secluded but still able to get to everything with a short drive. Cabin was clean. Communication was very good. Had a slight issue getting the key box open and had to call John. He answered and helped us resolve. Very nice.

It’s a perfect location for a beautiful stay, private, quiet, with gorgeous views. Watching the sunrise while drinking coffee on the porch is a perfect way to begin your morning. The fireplace is an added benefit for relaxing with hot cocoa. Outside we also had a fire and roasted marshmallows. It was a perfect birthday weekend!

The one of a kind cabin is truly One Of A Kind.We’ve stayed in many cabins over the years, One of a Kind is the best we’ve ever stayed in.The interior woodwork is amazing and the view from the deck is beautiful. Everything you will need is right there at hand.We had several short trips planed during our stay but after a couple of days at the cabin we opted to stay in for several days. It’s so calm and peaceful we just sat back and relaxed.The host is very accommodating and easy to contact.Book this cabin and you won’t regret it.
