"We used Snowdonia Mountain Lodge as an overnight rest stop near to a family gathering. We were all really happy with the accommodation, and it was better than we would have expected for the price we paid. Everything was clean, warm, dry and comfortable. Also, there is a small fridge-freezer in the family apartment, which we didn't realise, but could be really useful to know for someone reading this review.
As it stands, we plan to stay here again for the next family gathering, so book it now,...

"Nice clean room, friendly staff and tasty food. It’s a long walk from the train station and taxis generally finish servicing around 7 pm latest, so it’s more convenient to drive. "

The restaurant is excellent however do book in advance as it gets very busy and check your bill to ensure the deposit has been removed. We didn’t realise until the day after , it was rectified when we highlighted the mistake.

"We spent a delightful six nights at Victoria House. The owner, Jan, was a gracious and very helpful host. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. No breakfast was served, but there are many excellent breakfast spots within a five minute walk. And the room came with ground coffee and a French press coffee maker, plus excellent snacks.
