The Emerald Homestead in the Heart of the Emerald City

Ideally located near the major crossroads in Seattle, the Emerald Homestead is conveniently situated for those visiting to experience all of what Seattle has to offer, just minutes to downtown, I-90 and I-5. Set against the backdrop of sweeping panoramic views of Lake Washington, Mount Rainier and the Cascade mountain range, this architect designed home provides a great base for those who are attending weddings, family reunions or conventions to relax and recreate in a luxurious yet comfortable setting.

The neighborhood amenities offer many services within walking distance in this quiet bedroom community of single family homes.From the fine dining at Daniel’s Broiler to less formal fare at Bluwater Leschi, Heyday and That’s Amore as well as the casual dining at QED Coffee and Golden Wheat Bakery, there are several quality options for eating out within a mile.

Access to Lake Washington beaches and boat ramp are just a few minutes walk from the house. Designed by the same landscape firm that created Central Park in NYC, and known locally as the “String of Pearls”, Colman Park, Frink Park and Colman Beach all add a sylvan setting that brings nature into the city.

Cleaning guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19:
We’ve created 16 point cleaning checklist based on recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We have a 48 hour waiting period in between rentals.

Large comfortable property was perfect for a stay with family. Spectacular views, large rooms, second living room in basement perfect for kiddos to play. Quick walk to coffee shops. Had a few minor issues with the property and the host was very responsive and spent a couple fixing an issue and was very responsive to our concerns.

We absolutely loved every view of the house! We came for a girls trip and was a perfect set up for what we were looking for! Very accommodating! Super spacious. Some of the bedding is in need of replacement. We did come across handful of spiders, but upon looking them up we found out it was mating season and they were harmless.

Pre-cruise stay

We stayed in Seattle a few days before an Alaska cruise. The house is beautiful with awesome views of Lake Washington and Tahoma (Mt. Rainier) from the decks. Mark was great with providing information about the area and responded quickly to any additional questions that we had. Check in was easy and seamless. The kitchen had about every small appliance to complete any meal. Definitely would stay in the home again.
