Amazing location, spartan furnishings

Great location and view. Room looks as online. I don't expect much but having some basics would be nice like a place to put bags without being on lounge bench, towels for the rec center (they advertise access but only two towels). Nice to have coffee capsules- but all were child like flavors (Eggo, french toast, and breakfast cereal flavorings). The cabinet holding the mini fridge was gorgeous, but one can not sleep if it is opened- it is strikingly loud and creaky

Won’t return

Only one bedside table and lamp which doesn’t work because we both read in bed. Very dangerous rug we kept tripping over. We found it impossible to communicate with Vacasa. The ten o’clock morning check out time is ridiculously early. We won’t ever rent through Vacasa again

Really Nice Cabin in Great Kocation

Classy Sea Ranch architecture, not a big space, but well thought out in the layout of the main room.Bathroom looks fairly modern.Interesting plywood paneling interior walls.The best part was the large west facing windows, through which you could watch the sun setting over the Pacific.

Property manager didn’t respond to emergency call

The property was lovely, and the owner also lovely. The problem was with property manager. The lock didn’t work with the keys provided and they didn’t respond to the emergency call. We were left standing in the dark with no where to stay. That’s how I met the owner who came out to help us.She couldn’t get the door open either but finally realized she had the master. 45.minutes in the dark struggling. Really really not okay. In the meantime I was on the phone with the night telephone team who were great and did their job well. They put an emergency call to the local people who never responded until the next afternoon. They replaced the lock so clearly there was a serious problem. We asked for one night’s reimbursement—they gave us $50. Really unprofessional and inadequate. I am really dissatisfied and disappointed and angry

Beautiful modern stay at Sea Ranch

Loved this small, perfect lodging. Beautifully decorated in harmony with the tone of Sea Ranch. Down duvet on bed, good walking trails, very quiet, private space, close enough to town,about 5 miles.Ocean views of the whitecaps.

Great spot with easy access and beautiful views!

Loved this location. Perfect size of accommodation for 2 people. Nestled in the perfect spot for views, hiking, access to sea ranch lodge and Gualala. Everything was well appointed. One thing I would change is we couldn’t access the large outside trashcan for food trash. It wasn’t in the noted location. We had to keep stinky trash in the room.

Overall terrific. Chatted with owner and she was very friendly. Only drawbacks were no real food prep area (though I’m sure that was stated on listing ) and a small deck to look out to the ocean Would have been nice. There were a couple of chairs. Would definitely stay again.

Would Come Back

We need to come back when there is better weather. That has nothing to do with the property. It was perfect overlooking the water. There was plenty of coffee for the mornings and ample space. The area was clean and everything was very simple. 10/10 really enjoyed this weekend getaway

Wonderful Personal Retreat

I spent a wonderful 5 nights away from my noisy apartment in the city. I walked on the beach, enjoyed the architecture, visited the Chapel, went swimming at the recreation center, hung out with coffee, a drink, or food at the excellent Sea Ranch Lodge which is the social hub of the community. The unit is sweet and beautiful as is obvious from the pics. The bed is comfy, and the view amazing. There is a good heater for chilly nights. There is a microwave, mini fridge, plates bowls mugs, glasses, and silverware, and keurig coffee maker with a range of flavored coffees. But I wish I had brought my own coffee maker or there had been a French press available. The mini fridge and plates etc are in the closet which doesn't leave much room for hanging clothes. That's a bit of an issue but certainly did not spoil my stay. Those are a few things I wish I had known in advance. I had assumed there would be a small kitchen, but it didnt. I should have read the listing more carefully but I think that could be made clearer. Not a dealbreaker for me since I didn't want to cook. When I reached the property, the door was open and I was never given a key. I never locked the door while I was there. Not sure how I was meant to get it. I never saw the person in the main house. Maybe I missed something. When you pick up your renter packet you get a form which allows you to use the recreation centers. I swam at the Ohlson which has a beautiful pool and saunas. A few quirks but a 5* stay.

Peaceful Retreat

Great Getaway!

A perfect place to getaway from the hectic nature of life. Well appointed, has what you really need in a studio - comfortable bed, reading spot, tea spot -- and an amazing and stunning view. Close to tons of trails and ocean. I could not could have asked for a more perfect place to stay.

Lovely retreat at Sea Ranch

This ocean view guesthouse is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a retreat. I enjoyed taking walks and hikes, reading inside on the comfy window seat or outside on the Adirondack chairs, and experiencing the beauty of Sea Ranch. It is nicely decorated and has what you need for a simple few day getaway. There is no kitchen, just a small fridge and microwave, so best to remember this when planning! I very much enjoyed my time, loving the quiet, restful few days and will be back!

Beautiful location with an ocean view

We rented for two nights off-season. The only drawback was that there was no kitchenette but there was a coffee maker , and supplies. The unit also had a small microwave. Given the time of week/year, there were several casual eating places and only one fine dining establishment. Having said that, the nearby walking trails offered spectacular opportunities to walk in stunningly beautiful environments!

Small and Cozy!

The one room "house" had everything I needed. It was a short 8 min. walk away from the bluff trail that goes for miles along the coast. Several lovely beaches 15 min. walk away.

Wild Meadow

Deer, quail, wild turkeys, robins, sunsets all from our window! Hiking, reading, tide pooling! Terrific 350 square feet of living space! Would not hesitate to return!

Wonderful retreat!

Beautiful ocean view, right in the heart of Sea Ranch. Loved our stay. The place is as described, no kitchen but that didn't bother us. We planned ahead and brought other food. Plenty of other amenities to make the stay enjoyable. Newly renovated or built room with so many thoughtful details.

Sea Ranch Tranquility

Room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there was plenty of natural light and operable windows. The location was excellent as walking paths were very close by. Owner was at the property and very friendly. Highly recommended if you don't need a kitchen.
