With high ceilings, large rooms and comfortable furnishings, this Sea Ranch home is quite new and well-planned. Designed by William Brunner and built by Brian Dixon in 1996, it is approximately 2,400 square feet.

The living room has a nice wood-burning fireplace and opens onto a spacious deck with spa. The large, well equipped and open kitchen/dining area makes for a relaxed cooking and dining experience. Two dogs are allowed!

Three bedrooms and two bathrooms are perfect for up to eight guests. Please note: one king bedroom is connected to an office with a queen bed - the shared bathroom is accessed by walking through the queen bedroom. There are two more bedrooms that share a bathroom: one bedroom has two twins, and the other has a king.

Shell Beach is just a short walk away and you have great ocean views across a grassy strip of commons.

The Van Becker home lies on a meadowy cliff about 100 yards from the shore. Featuring a combination dining room and living area, the home is perfectly oriented to the landscape and the ocean. The light pines, unfinished woods, and Berber carpets impart a fresh, natural atmosphere. The centerpiece is the hot tub on the edge of the deck closest to the ocean.

This home is just right for that leisurely get-away you've been dreaming of for a long time. Watch that DVD you've been wanting to see. Read that book you've been meaning to get to. Play around with the piano (yes, the Van Becker home has a piano). Or just enjoy the hot tub, the view, the solitude, or any combination of the above!

Things to Know:

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles.

Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices-not any personal conversation or information. Thank you for supporting our efforts to be good neighbors!

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Beautiful home with great views and a perfect location near walk on Beach and the tide pools. Only two steps so perfect for a new crawler. The kitchen was one of the best appointed kitchens I’ve ever rented. We didn’t bring our dog, but I think that would’ve also worked out well

Breathtaking views

The deck and hot tub, with a wide open unobstructed view of the ocean and surrounded by meadows full of wildflowers and wildlife are the draw of this house.The house is spacious and comfortable at maximum capacity. Some quirky features (like a bathroom with no door) and dated finishes and appliances keep it from being a five-star favorite when paying luxury prices for the stay.

good house for family get away

We enjoyed this oceanfront home for a family reunion. The view can't be beat. Beds were all comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. A few things need minor repair- gas grill, lower rack of dishwasher, and sink drain in front bathroom. Be careful of the cute tree frog that lives under the hot tub cover!

Wonderful waterfront home

We were a family of four adults and two children. We loved the spaciousness of this house, and the views of the ocean that mesmerized us all day long. Every night we watched shooting stars, and named constellations from the deck. The home is an easy walk to paths along the bluffs. We played golf, enjoyed the swimming pool, and we were awestruck by the chapel at sea Ranch. The home was the best equipped we’ve ever stayed in, especially the kitchen. And the mattresses were ideal for adult bodies. We hope to return again next year.

A very nice time at Aloha House

A really nice location with a great unobstructed view of of the ocean and quick access to the bluff trail. We really enjoyed that as well as the outside deck for relaxing outside. The Vacasa experience was also very good from booking to checkout. The house itself was clean and orderly upon arrival but I will say the house itself is looking a little rundown. The bathrooms and kitchen could use a little updating, particularly the fixtures. The under-sink cabinet door is falling off its hinges in one bath, for example. We saw some mold along the baseboards in the bathrooms. A larger refrigerator would be nice (the freezer handle is loose and feels ready to fall off). The kitchen utensil situation is just a hodgepodge of duplicate items collected over the years that should be pared down to the nicer essentials. The bedroom layout is a little odd, given none of them are truly en-suite. Don't get me wrong, we enjoy the classic funky Sea Ranch vibe, but I reserve 5 stars for the more nicely appointed homes (with newer modern fixtures). I would say this house is best suited for families with young children and pets.

Perfect family home with incredible views.

This was our second time staying at this incredible Sea Ranch home. The views are incredible from the living spaces and deck and the home is spacious and well stocked with everything you need. This is our first choice for a place to stay in Sea Ranch.

Beautiful property, maintenance issues

Beautiful ocean view property, perfect for us and daughter’s family each to have our own wing of the house. Great kitchen for making meals/sharing memories. Must admit: maintenance issues: water took too long to get warm, if ever, faucet fell off, multiple windows stuck closed- yet, we all had the best week in this beautiful place.

Great getaway for a group or family

This property was great to escape to for a weekend with a group of friends. The beds listed are present, but the queen bed is not in the same room as the twins - it is in an office area that is part of the master suite. The twins are in their own room, as is the second king.

President’s Day Weekend 2020

Everything about this listing was accurate. Extremely warm and accommodating. Spa is wonderful and the house blocks most of the north winds. Beds are nice and comfortable. I recommend staying here!

Everything for our rental of Aloha House went smoothly — the check in process which was quite simple. we notified the property management agent that the hot tub was not performing well and the she immediately sent someone out to fix it. Very responsive. We did have a bit of trouble locking the house with the key. It needs to be adjusted Otherwise a great stay.

Wonderful location. But there were some cleanliness issues: trash by the hot tub when we arrived; dirty and/or wet (not damp) bathroom rugs; pots and pans dirty; dishwasher not very effective. Ancient microwave. BUT-- spectacular location on the meadow, very quiet.

Great family getaway

This is the second time we rented this property for a family getaway. The location has a wonderful view of the ocean, with the sound of waves crashing on the rocks constantly in the background. Our entire family enjoys getting away from normal busyness and relaxing at this house.
