Lyngsaa beach, a pearl on Denmark's east coast, is considered one of the finest and most child-friendly beaches. The child-friendly sandy beach, where the seabed slowly changes in depth and is free of sudden "holes," makes it an ideal destination. The dunes merge in certain places with open moorland, while the northern border stretches towards the Professor's Plantation - one of the east coast's most fascinating natural beauties. To the south you will find the bird reserve Stensnæs, which offers a unique experience of the local wildlife.



One of the county's largest streams, Voer Å, winds its way through the picturesque landscape and out into the Kattegat at Voerså. Alternatively, you can visit the famous Voergaard Castle, which emits the rush of history through its ancient walls.
