Waldburg Terrace | Pet Friendly, Historic Savannah!

Welcome to Waldburg Terrace, located in Savannah's Victorian District, which combines historic elegance with contemporary style. The top two floors of this Victorian row house are home to this stylish three-bedroom townhome with two and a half bathrooms.

From Waldburg Street, use the front stairs to reach the second-floor two-story apartment. Tall French windows, hardwood floors, and high ceilings add warmth and coziness to the expansive living room, accentuated by the brick wall detail and neutral color palette. The parlor-style living room is blended with old and new. New furnishings and original brick details of the former working fireplaces have been carefully restored to show their original beauty. The living area has a comfortable sofa and large flat-screen television. A dining table for up to six is perfect for sharing meals together.

Dual entrances lead to the brand-new kitchen. You'll have everything you need to whip up tasty meals on the fly or create culinary masterpieces. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a 6-burner gas range and oven and all stainless steel appliances. A breakfast counter serves as the focal point for guests, and a back door leads to a private sun porch with steps down to the backyard. Below is a stone courtyard with privacy fencing and off-street parking for two cars.

There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second floor. Bedroom 1 has a king-sized bed, a Smart TV, and another beautiful original fireplace. The newly renovated bathroom features a claw-foot tub within an enclosed shower, offering perfect spa-like relaxation. Bedroom 2 has a King-size bed, a Smart TV and shares a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. Bedroom 3 has a Queen Bed and shares the Jack-and-Jill bathroom with an all-new walk-in shower.

The first floor includes a powder room half bath and full-size washer and dryer. This townhome has onsite, private parking for two vehicles behind the backyard privacy fence. Nearby parking is on-street and non-metered, making parking a breeze. Park your car and take local transportation on the Dot Shuttle that can be accessed near Forsyth Park. Walk or bike to many nearby amenities, including Forsyth Park. Many events are held at the park throughout the year. It is an excellent choice for picnics, outdoor sports, walking, jogging, and free tennis courts. This is also where you will find the famous Forsyth fountain, which is a popular spot for weddings in Savannah. Additionally, the Forsyth Farmer's Market is a great early Saturday morning event to attend.

Guests will also be located only a short 20-25 minute drive to Tybee Island, Savannah's beach. Come out for a day trip to enjoy the beach, fishing, visiting Ft. Pulaski, or climbing Georgia's oldest and tallest lighthouse.

Summer Kick Off

House was adorable. Very clean and located near a beautiful park.approx 40 min walk to river. (House was simply stocked with necessities-no coffee pods, or fresh grounds to start , zero cleaning products to clean up after self (kitchen spray etc),1 laundry pod, no nonstick or foils to cook with etc) otherwise “Fantastic”

Amazing stay in Savannah!

This home is absolutely perfect if you're traveling as a group of 4-6; beautiful space, perfect location, fenced yard that's not only cute but a huge plus when traveling with a dog, and parking. Perfect home base for going out - walking to the park, restaurants, etc. - and for cooking dinners in and having a game night. Loved it and will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home

This home is really beautiful and the accomodations were comfortable. We really enjoyed the back porch tremendousely. It turned out to be a much longer walk to downtown shopping than we originally estimated but we all survived. Home did not come with any kitchen staples, just utensils and pots/pans. No coffee filters, no salt/peper.

Decent property but needs better cleaning and address a few issues

The house was older with improvements but some corners had been cut. One floor board was extremely loose and we avoided walking that area. Upstairs bath/shower was difficult for shorter person to get in and out of and bathroom door did not stay shut. House seemed surface cleaned only. Tissues, candy, gum wrapper and hair ties found on the floor throughout the house. We also killed two roaches during our stay.

Very Disappointed

The house we rented through Tybee Vacation Rentals was a beautiful historic home, but it is not what is is advertised to be. Frist off, when we booked the home it was advertised as having 2 off street parking spots. When we arrived at the home the access road behind the house had been torn out and blocked with large “road closed” signs and yellow tape. I tried to find alternative solutions with the host hoping they could at a minimum provide us with a pass for a parking garage. We were told to “Just park on the street”. I told them that wasn’t a permanent solution because of the fact that 1) there wasn’t enough on street parking for us and the neighbors in the first place and 2) street parking was closed for sweepers one of the nights we were there. Since then they have not responded even though our stay ended over a week ago. Secondly, the home is not in a safe part of town. In fact while we were staying in the rental a Savannah man was shot by someone less than 100ft from the back deck. Finally, when originally booking the property the representative that called us to confirm our stay talked down and patronized my wife and I calling us children simply because we are under the age of 25. Overall we were very disappointed with the lack of responsiveness and respect from this company.

Wonderful Stay!

Great location- 5+ blocks to park and bus stops. City buses free, tour bus with on and off stops, nice. river walk with shops and restaurants. City market Good restaurants, good parks. The rental was clean spacious, nicely decorated. The only problem was i had to call for the key number even though we arrived 1 hour after check-in. Highly recommend. Ill rent here again .

Girls trip to Savannah

This was a perfect place for my 2 friends and me to stay for our get away. We loved easy walk from the west Victorian Village into the city and cheap Uber trips for the evening excursions. This place was everything we wanted an more. The beds are very comfortable, the neighborhood was lovely, and the place had everything we needed. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

We loved this place! Very comfortable and spacious on a quiet tree lined street. Our only complaint is that there was no salt and pepper, sugar, coffee filters, etc.

Great location!

Great communication with property manager and everything was exactly as promised! Property was very clean and was stocked with everything we needed. It is within easy walking distance to everything in historic Savannah. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
