Charming Apartment on Abercorn- Off Street Parking Included!

  • From the deceiving quaint outside view you would never guess that up the stairs you would be greeted by a charming and warm two bedroom apartment! The living room is at the top of the stairs with an enormous 45 inch flat screen smart tv and reclining lounge chair. Skylight windows brighten up the room and let in natural light adding to the warm open feeling in a contradictory small space. Past the living room is a bathroom with shower/bath. The bathroom has a door to the master bedroom which has a king size bed. White linens, wood furniture, and natural light from the windows makes the space seem clean, inviting and fresh. Two closets and another flat screen tv are also in the main bedroom.

    The second bedroom is equipped with two twin beds, a dresser, and full wardrobe. It also has a flat screen tv of its own for privacy from the rest of the house to relax. The kitchen is just around the corner which has all up to date appliances including a front loading washer and dryer. Full oven and dishwasher, deep stainless steel sink and plenty of storage.

    Hardwood floors are throughout the home and many windows brighten up the space with natural light. Each room has a ceiling fan and many lighting options. Downstairs the owner has supplied two bicycles for rides around forsyth park which is just one street over. Perfect for a day of frisbee or a relaxing picnic with your friends and family. This apartment is in the best location, right by the park and close to coffee shops, grocery, and walking distance to downtown.

    There is also parking for two cars, a luxury in this town! This is a perfect unit to book for a weekend get away or to make your regular rental spot here in savannah. Great location, lots of space, and parking! Book Today!

Great location but the king size bed was so loud and uncomfortable we barely slept. Parking was difficult to find at first and had to call for check in instructions. Abercorn is a beautiful part of Savannah but the sketchy looking building/shared building with a laundry/dry-cleaning service was a less than pleasant surprise that was off-putting. Ended up getting a cheap hotel room for our last night in town.

Perfect apartment with off street parking! In walking distance to the park where you can jump on the Trolly Tour. Also close to Clarys which has amazing breakfast. Will definitely use again next time we are there.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Location was great.Appreciated off-street parking, and great kitchen appliances. Clean, white linens. Comfortable bed. Good supply of toiletries. Good lighting and adequate outlets. Some times when WiFi cut out temporarily.Comfortable recliner but sofa bed was not comfortable for seating.Good temperature and humidity controls.It takes a LONG time to draw hot water in kitchen and bathroom.Surfaces were clean but unit is in need of some deep cleaning: washer smelled musty. Walls, baseboards and floors beneath furniture were dirty as were all vents.

The upstairs apartment met our needs and was a great location for walking with off-street parking. Connivence of local grocery. Linens were white and good. Appliances were great except the washer which had water sitting in the seal and door closed. Very musty smell. Good outlets and lighting. Great recliner, desk and king bed. Sofa bed not comfortable for seating. Getting hot water in kitchen or bath took a LONG time. Good humidity and temperature control A few disruptions with WiFi service Rental could certainly be improved with deep cleaning. Dirty vents, walls and baseboards and under furniture.

Spring break getaway

We spent 3 nights here for a quick getaway. The property is conveniently located and just a few mins walk to Forsyth Park. Property was nice and clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

It was a perfect location!

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was in a perfect location close to grocery store, Forsyth Park and walking distance to most everything else. The apartment was large enough to accommodate our needs and had eveyrhing you need for your stay. The off street parking was great as well. This will be my go to place in the future when visiting Savannah.

The apartment was all that the host stated - closed to downtown, ease of parking, great instructions for arrival, safe entry and departures. Truly walking distance to most all you need while visiting. A couple notes - nothing bad:1) it would have been great to have a little bit of coffee in the apartment for the first morning there. 2) Kleenex's would be helpful3) The twin beds creak something awful and could be heard in the other bedroom - maybe tighten the frames up and oil them?
