Bright and Airy, Historic Condo on Monterey Square

Experience Savannah to the fullest. This condo is just steps from Monterey square, around the corner from Forsyth Park and an easy walk to everything Downtown has to offer.

Recently renovated, This unit has been a long-term resident for 4 years and in great condition. This condo is the perfect blend of historic charm and modern amenities; with hardwood floors, high ceilings throughout, updated kitchen and baths and a spacious open floor plan. This top floor walkup condo is bright and airy with plenty of room to stretch out with two bedrooms and two full baths. A private balcony off to the side of building gives a great place to unwind after a long day. Perfect for a weekend getaway or an extended stay, this condo is fully equipped to make you feel at home.

In the living room relax and enjoy the beauty of downtown from the large windows. The kitchen features granite counter-tops and stainless appliances and is well stocked with all the cookery needed to prepare fantastic meals during your stay. In the dining room we have included a table with room enough for everyone so gather round and enjoy some quality time together. Down the hall you will find two bedrooms and two full baths. The hall bath features a tub/shower combo while the master bath has walk in shower. In the Master bedroom, you can rest your head from a long day of sigh-seeing on the King bed or unwind with some TV. The second bedroom is cozy and features a full size bed and large windows. To make your stay as comfortable as possible, both bedrooms house super comfy high-quality mattresses to ensure everyone gets a good nights sleep.

This unit also comes with those little extras that help to make your stay all the more comfortable including: Washer/Dryer, Iron and Ironing board, hair dryers, blender, Keurig coffee maker and FREE WiFi. This is a perfect unit for longer term stays and offer good discounts for this

On Parking: There is no dedicated parking on our residential street but parking is typically very easy to find. There are several areas of free parking in close vicinity to the condo (a few steps across Drayton Street on Gordon and on many of the streets surrounding Forsyth Park). The spaces directly in front of the building are metered.

This condo was absolutely gorgeous, beautifully decorated, and clean. The pictures don't do it justice. It had all the amenities you could need while away and is in a great location. It was also much larger than expected. My family and I couldn't have been happier. It is located on the third floor via stairs so anyone with mobility issues/difficulty walking should keep that in mind. It is also in a safe location with multiple security measures in place to access the property. The host was responsive and timely.There is street parking, but it can be a bit of a challenge, but that is a Savannah historic district thing, not just for this condo. I highly recommend going to the Bryan Street Parking Garage facility and getting daily or multiple day parking passes for extended parking for much cheaper than paying hourly street parking or pay lot/parking garage parking. Overall, I highly recommend this rental and will definitely be back!

This is a beautiful property located right in the heart of Savannah. There is a grocery store just a half mile walk from it which was great to get stocked up at the beginning of our stay. It is walkable to so many attractions! I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I will say is that we were on the third floor and we weren’t aware of that so if we had any issues with that we would have been surprised.

We had an excellent experience at this property. Parking is not included but there is ample street/metered parking. Using the Park Savannah app was a breeze and easy to reload. We arrived on Saturday evening and didn't have to begin paying until Monday morning. The unit was more spacious than I expected, great location, bright & airy. Our unit was on the 3rd floor, no elevator, but the stairs were not too steep. The master bedroom was a little bright at night (thankfully I brought my eye mask). Some outside traffic & yard maintenance noise but we slept peacefully. We would definitely recommend this location.

The condo is so charming with lots of space and had everything we needed. There was an eclectic assortment of books more interesting than the ones I brought! The location was perfect, just a block from Forsythe Park and very walkable to shops, restaurants and museums in the historic district. Free parking was easy to find in front of the condo. We would absolutely stay here again!

We were pleasantly surprised to see that the property itself looked much better in person

We had a great experience and really loved the property. It is very spacious and in a great location. The kitchen could use a few more items but not a deal breaker. We would definitely stay here next time we visit Savannah.

Beautiful and convenient

This is a very beautiful and comfortable apartment. Spacious, clean and in a perfect central location. Walkable distance to just about everywhere in Historic Savannah. 100% would recommend.

Beautiful condo in a perfect location!

The condo was beautifully decorated and light and airy. Access was extremely easy and Alicia is great to work with on the reservation. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Only drawback is the 3rd floor is a little tough to navigate if you have any walking/physical limitations. The location is ideal and easy access via a short walk to the free Dot shutttle service. Perfect for a short stay or a longer stay!

Outstanding location and property

The location is perfect. The apartment is exactly as described. Very clean, comfortable , quiet. The owner was very helpful. We did have a problem with the height of the cupboards; a step stool would have helped. Also a kettle would be nice for us tea drinkers. Otherwise it is well equipped with everything you could need. You can walk to lots of squares and attractions. But if you get tired, the free shuttle is a few blocks away. If you stay this year, don't miss the free SCAD 40 year celebration.

The property is gorgeous, the neighborhood is beautiful!! One block from Forsyth park. We couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. All communication with the owner was met with expediency and kindness. Very happy!

Great weekend getaway

We really enjoyed our stay at this home in Savannah. It was a beautiful home and all the extras were much appreciated. Beds were extremely comfortable. The location was perfect to getting around historic Savannah and the dot which was close by made it easy to get around. We would highly recommend this unit for anyone wanting to visit this beautiful city.

Great for a girls get-away

The second bathroom and extra square footage made this condo a perfect fit for our recent girls get-away. Beautiful and spacious and the beds and pillows were divine! The dining room table was great for playing card games. The master bathroom is not designed for short people, but we could make it work. The slider to the side patio could have used a cleaning and the couch was a little dingy, but nothing we couldn't deal with. Location was spot on, within walking distance of almost everything and close to a bus stop for the free DOT bus. Being country bumpkins we were a little uncertain about where the free parking was and Alicia got back to us on where we could park just one block over. Be prepared to haul your luggage up the two flights of old stairs. Overall, we loved the place and would definitely stay here again.
