Cabin was clean and a great location. We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin.. We seen a mama bear with two cubs really made the trip worth while.

Cozy, well stocked cabin with huge fireplace and hot tub on deck. Very private and peaceful. Three beds and two full baths. Loft bedroom upstairs has sloped ceiling and might be difficult for tall visitors. Kitchen is very well equipped and spotless! Helen is only a short drive away and Betty’s grocery store has anything you may have forgotten and more. Check out her huge cookies! We had a very relaxed visit and we would recommend this cabin to anyone.

Our family had a great weekend stay! The whole cabin was a hit with the kids! The board games were a sweet addition. We were very happy with the proximity to Helen but with privacy and the beautiful drive.

Cabin was amazing! It was clean, well stocked, and had anything you might need. Its close to town and owners work with you great! My family and I enjoyed out stay and would definitely stay again!

Great getaway!

My friends and I had a great time! This is a nice getaway, but still close enough to great hiking trails and the town of Helen! We really enjoyed our stay.

Couples get away

Property was great and had everything you need. Secluded property while being close to Helen and local attractions. We enjoyed the getaway and the spectacular fall colors was a sight to see.

Wonderful Cabin

This cabin is perfectly decorated to give you that woodsy feel, plus it is close to Helen. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub is a perfect touch. Enjoyed this cabin! 10/10

Cute and Cozy!

Cute and cozy little cabin in the woods. Secluded enough to relax from the hustle and bustle and close enough to Helen and all the fun attractions nearby. Great little spot. The hot tub was an added bonus and was perfect for the cool nights.

Great Stay!

This cabin was perfect for my family (2 adults, 2 kids 8 & 1) and my in laws! It was clean, decorated adorably, had lots of items to use, and close to Helen! The hot tub was a favorite!! Definitely a plus! 10/10 stay. Totally recommend and will stay here again!

I had a great girls trip at this cabin! It took a while for the hot tub to heat up which is to be expected but besides that everything was perfect!

This was the perfect location! Close to town, but away from all the traffic and people. The cabin was clean and well-maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus the owners left a nice welcome basket with some snacks and art projects for the kids. The hot tub was a great way to end the day after all the walking and exploring. I definitely recommend and hope to be back!!

Beautiful/welcoming cabin

We spent Christmas in this perfectly decorated, welcoming cabin. It was perfect for my family of 4. The owner was VERY accommodating and helpful during the unusually low temperatures we experienced.

Great Cabin.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We really really appreciated the Christmas decorations. We did a gift exchange and that made it the perfect atmosphere for it. We also enjoyed the proximity to Helen and other activities in the area. We would do it again, no question. We had a great vacation, thank you.

Hiking The Waterfalls

The cabin was very clean and inviting. Very charming. The location was beautiful and accessible to Helen and the waterfall locations. We enjoyed the hot tub after the hike. Warmed to the bone.

A Hallmark Christmas

Our stay at Ruhe Haus was nothing short of amazing. From the Christmas decor in every corner to the location of the property it was our perfect little Christmas getaway. Our children really enjoyed making s’mores in the fire pit, outback and roasting marshmallows in the fireplace. There was also a welcome basket, which was a really nice touch with crafts for the kids. We could not recommend this day more.

Spring break cabin trip

This cabin was so clean and cozy! It was perfect for me and my friends and our kids for a getaway for spring break! Loved the hot tub and all the games at the cabin. They even had a keurig with k cups and provided snacks and bottled water! Loved being close to Helen to enjoy the good food, shops and other activities!! Would definitely recommend this cabin for a getaway!!
