Welcome to Goshorn Lake #5!

Goshorn Lake Resort is ready to give you a truly relaxing and worry free vacation. Enjoy lounging around the community pool, swimming in Goshorn Lake, and playing a quick game of basketball or sand volleyball. Located just two miles from Downtown Saugatuck! Goshorn Lake is perfect for kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, and water sports. Kids will love the play areas, jungle gym, and sandboxes.

Sip your morning coffee on either the screened in porch or on the outside patio. Spend the day paddling around the lake in one of the resort's shared kyaks or laying out in the sun. After a long relaxing day at the beach kick back and grill out.

Don't let the size of this home fool you, this two bedroom, one bath home has so much to offer. Goshorn #5 has been recently updated with new floors, furniture, mattresses, and more. The living room features a cozy fireplace and a flat screen TV. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and seating for two around the bar. Goshorn Lake #5 aims to please and give you the picture perfect vacation.

Goshorn Lake #5 is a standalone home within Goshorn Lake Resort. If you're traveling with a larger group, we manage five other cottages in this same resort. The homes are intended to be rented separately, but can easily be booked together for group getaways.

*Laundry is located in a separate building and requires coins.

Loved the cabin and location

This was perfect for my husband and our 2 yourn kids. It was s the perfect size for us. Kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the location with the pool nearby and the lake and beach. Quick easy drive into saugatuck for great restaurants. Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Adorable Cottage, Great Location

We stayed at this cottage recently after making last minute vacation plans. One never knows what to expect, but we were very pleased with the accuracy of the listing, location and community. It was very quiet and family friendly. The cabin itself had recently been redone with modern fixtures, plenty of places to charge your devices and hard flooring (no gross carpets yay!) The beds were new and very comfortable, and the sheets and towels freshly cleaned. It was a little cozy for two adults and a tween for a week, but it was a perfect homebase for our outdoor activities. It was very easy to bike into town! It has a nice private patio & everything worked as it should. The little lake was delightful to kayak on - very clean and warm. The coin-operated washer dryer was right next-door in the office so that was convenient. We had a couple of small hiccups when we first arrived but the management company was quite responsive and helpful. I would suggest bringing extra bath/kitchen towels (and maybe steak knives) but the cottage was otherwise really well-stocked. This would be great for two adults, and 1 to 2 small children. Overall, a great VRBO experience!

Cozy and Perfect

The accommodations were cozy and perfect. Location was ideal and the amenities of the property were just right for a few nights stay. Overall it felt like a nice getaway home.

Cute Cottage

Location can’t be beat. We loved the proximity to downtown Saugatuck (& walking distance to Dairy Dayz)! Great camp-like ambiance with the lake, basketball court, beach volleyball and pool areas. Loved that the kids could easily run back and forth to all the activities from the cottage. Enjoyed relaxing in the screened porch, and beds were super comfy. This is a great rental, and we would love to return sometime. A few minor things - we didn’t realize the laundry wasn’t in-unit and required coins; the dishes and silverware weren’t clean, and there weren’t any coffee filters (none of which was a huge issue, but at least as far as the laundry and coffee, we would have prepared better if we had known). Thank you so much for letting us stay!
