Welcome to the Rum Cove Experience!

This magical home is a one-of-a-kind oasis 🌴 on a one-of-a-kind island located right in the heart of Anna Maria! Rum Cove is placed perfectly within walking distance to all the prime entertainment spots! You will find restaurants and so many fun little shops to check out on historic Pine Avenue, cute places to grab a cup of java, donut or waffle and of course the many beach entrances are all just steps out your front door.
Although so much is an easy stroll away, a golf cart and bicycles are also provided for exploring the City of Anna Maria. 🚲

We believe that one of the most important parts of a rental home is comfort, and this home will not disappoint. Rum Cove, just recently (2020), upgraded to a new state-of-the-art cooling system. This system is equipped with a Space Pak Air Conditioning System for the entre home plus personalized climate control units for each individual bedroom. No more arguing over who wants to sleep cool or who wants it a bit warmer! It’s all at your control!

With a resort style feel and plenty of unique places to relax and have fun, it is impossible to feel crowded at Rum Cove. The upstairs entertainment room has a large 80" TV with surround sound for late night movies. Right outside the entertainment room you will see a shuffle board table designed for those intense games. It also has a den area downstairs great for games with the kids or just a place to read a good book. This home boasts five bedrooms with five king size beds and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The master suite, on the ground level, comes with a steam shower while the upper master suite is equipped with a sauna.

The kitchen is equipped with two Sub Zero refrigerators, two dishwashers, an ice maker, Wolf oven, and plenty of cooking tools for in-home entertaining. Just step outside the kitchen to the pool deck and find a large area perfect for grilling out your favorite burgers, brats or steaks. It comes complete with a large Weber grill, mini-fridge and prep sink. As we like to say...Grillin’ and chillin' is easy at Rum Cove! 🍔 If you’re the one chillin’ grab a seat and a glass and sit at the boat shaped bar to keep the cook company or grab a floaty and do some chillin’ in the waterfall rock formation pool. 💦At the end of the day it wouldn’t be complete without a soak in the hot tub which overlooks the pool, pure relaxation!

Worried about keeping up with your putting shot? No problem, Rum Cove is equipped with a putting green so your stroke won’t become rusty. For those with more of an adventurous spirit, just launch the provided paddle boards or kayak right off the floating dock that is located on the side of the house. 🐟🦈 You also may want to consider renting a boat since Rum Cove has a dock and boat lift located right out the back door on the canal that takes you directly into Tampa Bay within minutes. 😎

When the day is done, unwind on the upstairs patio that overlooks the pool area, turn on the fire pit, 🔥get comfy on the large sectional sofa and count the stars in the night sky.

When we say Rum Cove has it all. We really mean it! This magical home was designed to lower your heart rate and create lasting memories with family and friends.

Great location and hosts. Walkable to so many spots. Good communication and quick to act when help was needed. Definitely take a right towards the beach access. Golf cart is a major plus and makes everything easy from Bean point to restaurants.

Terrific Stay at Rum Cove

We stayed at Rum Cove with our adult children and infant grandson. The house came equipped with a pack n play and a crib. Every imaginable small appliance is there for your use. Three washer and dryers, all very new. Two refrigerators plus small refrigerator in outside bar area and upstairs in den. Located right off of Pine Street so it’s close to shops and restaurants. The rental includes a nice 6 passenger golf cart. Only a couple blocks from beach, within walking distance. The pool/patio is perfect for families to hang out at. Even a retractable awning for rainy weather. Property manager and owner are super responsive to any questions or concerns, both prior to stay and during our stay. This is our second stay at this property and we will be back again!

This home is amazing!

Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rum Cove. We celebrated my daughter’s upcoming nuptials. This house had everything we needed and more. It was like our own private resort! The location was perfect - close to shops, eateries and beach. Having the golf cart was so fun! We loved every minute of our stay !

Spring Break

Our group of 13 loved staying at Rum Cove! The location makes it easy to visit the beach, all the shops on Pine, and the bay beach. The beach theme decor is wonderful. Dan was over immediately when there was a pool issue - we didn’t even lose a day of pool fun! Being able to use the bikes and golf cart was a huge bonus!!

Fabulous Home rental

This home is top drawer in every way. Beautifully appointed, accommodations that fit our family of 11 very well. So much to do, pool, hot tub, sauna, steam shower, kayak, putting green, paddleboard, corn hole, bicycles, board games, TV's. Charming outside patio with grill, upstairs fire pit sll under a large screen.owners are and property managers are so helpful. Top of the line appliances and cookware. What a week of memories we made here. Very highly recommend.

Great property

Perfect spot for an extended family vacation. Great location, walkable to beach, shops and restaurants. Amazing pool, spa and screened area. Too many amenities to mention but the house is fully equipped for anything. We are planning to return next year.

Unreal house on a beautiful island

Our family of seven was completely blown away when we walked into this beautiful home. We knew it would be beautiful after looking at all the pictures but it's different when you were there. Everything we wanted to do was all split up ready for us. We were able to go kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, shuffleboarding there was even a Christmas tree set up for the holiday weekend. The property manager was proactive and greeted us when we first checked in. We did have questions on how to operate the pool and the spa and all the beautiful lighting they have outside at night and he showed us how to do everything. We definitely want to go again.

Great AM Destination

All 12 members of our family who gathered at Rum Cove for a week at Anna Maria Island agreed that this home was perfect for our needs. Location, amenities, pool, golf cart, sleeping quarters, access to the beach, etc., etc. were all fantastic. A real gem.

Family beach trip

The house was just right off Pine which made it easy to get to all the places. Pros- pool area, all of the fridges and laundry. Lots of pool and beach toys. Cons The light system for the house was not the easiest to navigate, especially the pool lighting. Hot water stopped working a few days into the week and never fixed before we left. Not enough seating in the kitchen/ main space. Not enough dishes for our group. We enjoyed our time.

Awesome House, great location.

This house exceeded our expectations! All the bedrooms/bathrooms are so comfortable and well equipped with everything we needed. The Property Managers, Lori &Dan communicated very well during the whole booking process. Dan met us at the house to go over all the electronics and answered all our question. We had a few issues that came up but were resolved very quickly! My entire family loved the house and especially enjoyed the beautiful pool and spa. The kiddie pool was perfect for the 2 & 3 year olds. The fishing dock and kayak was used everyday! Manatees were also spotted! We loved this house and will be back next year! Best family vacation ever!

What a great place

The property is as nice as the photos make it look. The location is great - easy to walk to the beach and restaurants & stores - and the screened in area means virtually no mosquitos. We loved it.

Amazing house!

This was our 2nd year staying at Rum Cove and we would definitely book this house again. The property managers were very responsive to one minor issue that we had on check in. The house is in walking distance to the beach, the pier and many restaurants and shops.

Great vacation

This was our third year staying at Rum Cove - we love it! Great for families, the location is perfect, you can walk to shops, restaurants and the beach. The house has everything you will need for a perfect vacation. Dan and Lori are wonderful to work with, very responsive to your needs and questions and are so helpful. Family getaway we chose based on reviews and pictures. Well the pictures don’t do Rum Cove justice!!! Quiet little street but close to all the fun. Goose and Gander set records in response time for any question we had. Comfy beds in a true boutique environment… and the pool, putting green etc was awesome!!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Rum Cove

We had a tremendous time at Rum Cove. It provided a perfect place for our family to stay. It is close to the beach, great restaurants and shopping. My kids and grandkids loved the pool, shuffleboard table and media room. The kitchen and outdoor bar/grill are equipped with top tier appliances making it easy to cook whatever you want. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay on Anna Maria Island.

Great house

Super cute house. Minor issues were addressed promptly. Trolley stop within walking distance. Golf cart available for use. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. The upstairs deck was great for fires at night. Only suggestion is to put up hooks to hang bath towels in the downstairs bathroom.

Loved the House

5 couples. Loved the house. (You can read the other reviews for the great comments...all accurate). Great experience. Goose and Gander were very responsive. Would rent again. Loved separate HVAC controls in each bedroom. For those looking at houses the only drawback is that there really wasn't a large place to gather indoors to watch an evening movie or sports, etc. For us it wasn't a problem though. We spent our time outdoors between the house and pool. We watched NFL, MLB playoffs, etc. on the large screen TV outdoors.

Rum Cove was the perfect place to stay.

This house had everything we needed for our family. Plenty of fun right at the house, just like a resort. Spent lots of time in the swimming pool. Great location on the island for an easy walk, golf cart ride to the beach or to eat, paddle boards & kayak's, plus a boat dock for the pontoon we rented. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on Anna Maria Island other than Rum Cove!

Perfect week!

Rum Cove is awesome! Close to the beach and had everything we needed. It had enough beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels for everyone. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some dinners while we were there. Two separate refrigerators and an ice maker were a huge plus. Golf cart was great for taking all our chairs to the beach and ice cream trips at night. Goose was great. He checked in on Friday to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!!
