Conveniently located near many great restaurants, a mall, and grocery stores. In a very safe family neighborhood. Bring your boat, tons of parking. Anchor Away has a relaxing, tropical atmosphere you won't ever want to leave!

The bedroom has a queen bed. The bathroom was fully remodeled with a walk-in shower. The living room area has a TV for entertainment and a comfortable futon for an additional sleeping arrangement. The kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances and cooking utensils. Large outdoor patio area surrounded by beautiful landscaping with a hot tub, patio table, grill, games, and a fireplace. Private entrance with a private patio area. You will feel right at home in a stylish, beachy modern space at Anchor Away!

Stay went well. Nice to have met Shannon in person, was helpful getting situated upon arrival! Suggestions: had some difficulty accessing wi/fi. Instruction folder in unit with information on wi/fi access and how to use tv settings maybe helpful! Shade on side door glass would enhance privacy! Overall very quiet setting and comfortable bed to sleep in!

Siesta Key

Lovely place to stay. Very clean and the amenities were good. The hot tub was an added plus. The lighting over the bathroom sink could use a led bulb to make it brighter to see. Very close to Siesta Key. The owner was great to communicate with. I would strongly recommend this place.

Nice!

Nice little place. Perfect for what we needed. We enjoy outside space and this property has such a nice and private patio area. Not at all a deal breaker but the couch/futon could be replaced as it is not comfortable. We had a couple minor issues but they were attended to quickly. We would stay at this cute little property again if in the area.

Perfect space for 2!

Me & my husband came for a week and had easy access to Siesta Key, shopping, and explored all areas including UTC and Venice to downtown Sarasota! Nothing was more than 30 minutes tops to drive. Siesta Key is literally 5 minutes on Tamiami to the bridge. The place is cute clean and modern. No complaints.

Cute and clean

Space is small but enough for a couple. Hot tub clean and working. Nicely decorated. Ac working fine. All is as described. Had a very nice stay. Unit is attached to a house but is own private space. Would suggest a privacy fence or barrier so the hot tub is a little more private from the front and maybe blinds for the door.

Great stay! Quiet and comfortable.

Quiet location and street. Beautiful foliage landscaping. Included beach kids items and chairs. Cooler. Two road bicycles. Kitchen is decently equipped. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Good sized tv in the bedroom but tad small one in the “living room”. Shower was great height for tall people. Good water pressure. Soft towels. Takes a few minutes to get hot water. The bathroom is sort of dimly lit but ok. Came close to hitting the lamp above the sink with head being tall. Unfortunately there are very few wall outlets inside so you have to be creative with charging devices. Hot tub works great and clean. The cover is a bit oversized though and could be difficult for one person to remove and install as there is no lift mechanism for cover. There are technically two parking spots for two average sized vehicles but don’t expect to park two 3/4 ton trucks front to back on the driveway. Included also washer and dryer outside. Side note: the pdf file with check-in and house rules has a few typos that need corrected.

Loved the location!

Great little place. Very clean and tastefully decorated. Very small but space was utilized well. Bedroom was great size and comfortable. Bathroom had nice big shower. Kitchenette is really just a good place for coffee and a quick cold breakfast. There is a small oven and stove which we didn’t use and a smaller sized fridge. Plenty big for our cold beverages and snacks. The great private outdoor space makes up for the small living room because we spent most of our time outside: Coffee in the AM, beverages in the afternoon after the beach and card games in the evening after dinner out. Plenty of lighting outside to sit out in the evening after sunset. Perfect location for beaches, food, shopping, exploring. Really nice to have a washer and dryer to use. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend for a single or couple looking for a fun location in Sarasota.

Clean, small, and nice for beach stays

Property was really clean. Location was about 10 mins from siesta key. A few observations… these aren’t meant to be negative but for awareness. We were able work around all of these issues. We didn’t communicate any of the these during our visit. -kitchen is really small and practical for only making frozen meals. The fridge has a defect that every time you close the freezer or fridge door, the other pops open so make sure they are both secure or things will melt. The hot tub was glitchy and didn’t work. We gave up on it. The jets worked one night but no heat… then the heat worked but not the jets. The toilet handle is half broken so they probably need to fix it. The positives are the location is quiet and convenient. It was nice to have a small cooler and beach chairs. Washing machine and dryer access was a plus.

Perfect Little Spot!!

The cuteness of this place cannot be understated. Everything you need for a quiet place to crash; including a very cute outdoor living area where you’ll find the washer and dryer! The decor is especially perfect for this little gem of a place. We will definitely go back when we have another visit to the Sarasota area!
