Sugar Beach is a beautifully renovated beach getaway with the uniqueness of being a lake front property WITH ocean views!! Just a quick 2-3 min walk to the beach and a private dock onto the lake! Forgot to bring the sand toys? No worries, we’ve got you covered. We have sand toys, beach chair, umbrella and kayaks! A vaca to remember!!

We had an excellent stay at the Waterfront Beach Retreat in Dune Allen! Communication with our host was excellent from start to finish. The location of the house could not be more perfect with it being situated on Oyster Lake with both views of the lake and of the ocean. The house was well laid out and everyone had plenty of room. We especially loved the short walk across the street to the beach access. We'd definitely return to stay!

Great Family Stay

We had a fantastic stay at this house! So much space and a great location. The beach access was a short walk and not crowded. Loved the privacy of each couple being on a different floor with separate porches. The host was so kind, communicative, and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Relax & Unwind

Always great to find a pet friendly rental that didn’t skimp on aesthetics or amenities. The owner did let me know the bikes developed rust over winter, but they operated fine for our needs. We had a couple other minor issues because, well, unexpected stuff happens and maintaining homes on the coast has its own set of challenges. Thankfully, the owner is quick to respond and eager to help. The only true downside was the room at the top. It gets pretty hot and the ceiling fan is noisy, but there is a box fan. The cheapest solution would be a portable AC unit. Another great upgrade would be darkening shades, like in the living room, to replace the blinds in the fireplace bedroom. I prefer darkness until 7 am. Oh and maybe another sofa or a sectional. I LOVED that so few people utilized our beach access. Yet, a short drive or bike ride away you have public access with facilities. The lake and dock were lovely and the sound of frogs at night was perfection. Oh the views from the balcony! I’m ready to book again just to sit on that balcony and read all day. If you desire white sand and dazzling blue water but don’t want crowds (granted, we booked off season in mid May), this place is perfect. I like to be close to good coffee and restaurants but not immersed in the middle of it. The west end of 30A is exactly that. A taste of old Florida but nicer. Long story long, if that sounds like your vibe and you want to bring your furry friend, stop looking and book this place!
