House has a great layout and perfect for a family. Everyone - all 9 of us- had plenty of space and privacy. Beds were comfy and was so nice each bedroom had its own bathroom! Location on the beach was perfect and was so nice to just walk down early for coffee and the location made it so easy to go back and forth during the day. Pool was nice. Blue Swell was very attentive and happy to answer any questions and attend to any needs before and during our trip. We had a great vacation! I would stay here again!

The house was SO clean. It was charming and the most perfect stay at the beach for my family and I to date. Thanks to Blue Swell, the management company that holds this rental. They were excellent with recommendations for everything we needed in this vacation.

Perfect location and beautiful beach. The house definitely needs some updates and TLC. It’s an older home but the floors are uneven, deck and boardwalk had multiple loose or missing parts, we had an issue with the dishwasher that was repaired on our fourth day, the mattresses need replacing as they were extremely worn and sunken in. Otherwise we had a great stay as we have stayed in Seagrove for 35 years now.

We’ve stayed at this property several times, including with the prior property management company. We return because the location is great and layout works wonderfully for our group—particularly the beach side pool. The new property manager is very responsive and helpful. The house itself is definitely needing some love and maintenance, but the new bedding was nice and everything was very clean.

Family trip

The outside trash bins where we parked appeared to have accumulated trash over several weeks. We reported this several times. The house was spacious but needed lots of repairs including electrical outlets and broken shower door. The foliage behind the pool and boardwalk was overgrown. You can’t see the beach from the porch. For the price point we expected a little nicer. On a more positive note the kids enjoyed the pool and the towel service was abundant. The walk to the beach was short. .

Fantastic Stay with Blue Swell

We've stayed in this home before and we could tell it was under new management. A Winterpast was clean, issues we had last time were clearly addressed, communication was great, check-in/out was as expected, a breeze, and wife and kids were happy! Wish it was a little warmer, but February at the beach is better than February in Ohio! We'll definitely be back!

Winterpast Oct 2024

This house was perfect for our family which included 3 toddlers and one infant. The kids loved the pool and we loved the front porch and access to the beach. The interior was very clean but the pool deck area could use some attention. We appreciated the complimentary bikes and beach chairs. Overall, a great week on 30A

Beachfront vaca

Great stay. There were a couple minor issues and management was very responsive to attend to them. Perfect setting! Beach chairs and umbrellas were provided.

Perfect location but home needs major renovations.

Perfect beach access, nice pool. Management company was extremely prompt each time we contacted them, which unfortunately was often. The house is for sale which probably explains why it’s in only fair condition (cabinet doors coming off, old cookware, etc). Pedestal sinks in all bathrooms aren’t helpful. Beds & linens were comfy. Under-counter ice was great. It suited our needs with 4 adults, 2 teens, 2 kids & a baby. Could be a great home again with a little TLC.

Great Beachfront Location

The house was great and location was even better. We had three families, including 5 kids, and had plenty of bedroom and living space. It was great to have the beach chairs included as part of our rental, (we added two more for a cost) so that we had a great saved spot every time we went down to the beach. The pool was also a great bonus. The only improvements would be updating the kitchen sink as the faucet did not work great (which was annoying as we cooked all of our meals there) and having a pool alarm. We would stay here again!

Great house!

The house was perfect for us, right on the beach and loved the pool, comfy beds and linens. It is a wonderful area with shopping and restaurants within reach by walking or biking. All was absolutely perfect!

Perfect multi-family home!

We had a great time staying in this home! We were able to comfortably accommodate three families and a combined six kids with the bunk room and twin room. We especially appreciated every bedroom having its own bedroom, beachfront location, and pool to cool off in the evenings!

Great Location

An absolutely great location. Lots of space inside with lots of beds for adult couples and several munchkins. Nice high back deck that looked out over the gulf. Nice large space to eat and gather with lots of comfy chairs. However the photo showing the parking was misleading as it was shot NOT to show a fence that limited the parking to (barely) 4 vehicles. And was very tight and difficult to maneuver vehicles. The house, appliances, and other amenities are very old. While we were there part of the stove had to be repaired, a kitchen door hing was found to be broken and had to be replaced, a banister on the back deck just fell out and had to be fixed so the little ones wouldn't fall through the deck railing to the pool area below. The electric plug-ins are so old that on at least one plug-in on each plate in the house the plug in would fall out and break the connection. So old that I wonder if the electrical system is up to code. I've been renting beach front properties in Hilton Head for a number of years. I paid as much or more money for this Santa Rosa property then I paid last year for a much, much newer property on the beach in Hilton Head. This property isn't worth what they are asking in my opinion. Still we survived and everyone enjoyed their stay. Thanks for all y'all do. Bob Voss

Comfortable Beach House

Overall we had a very nice stay. This is an older beach home that has been somewhat remodeled. The beachfront location is wonderful. Seagrove is definitely still a beach town so you don't have the same shops and restaurants as the other little pocket towns, but you also don't have the crowd of people like Watercolor and Seaside. The beds are comfortable, the water pressure for showers is great, the kitchen is fairly well stocked and the towels for all bathrooms are packaged nicely in plastic in each room ensuring cleanliness ( which I loved ). Also, the kitchen has an ice maker ! They do provide a starter kit of dishwasher and laundry soap along with bathroom amenities. You do need to bring your own hairdryer. I also did not see a wine opener, a lighter, any pens or pencils or cocktail glasses. The pool is nice but the pool furniture could use upgrading. The one thing that I did not like as a guest is that there are pictures of the owners' family everywhere. So instead of having the feel of a home away from home, It makes you feel like they are going to walk in at any minute.

Beach bums!

This was the perfect spot to relax, catch some much-needed Vitamin D! The House was in a great location. Walk right onto the beach. The house was well appointed with all the comforts of home. We opted to heat the pool which really is must if you want to use it in the winter months! Worth it! spent many hours in it. We really appreciated the beach lounger chair service, included with your stay. We spent hours on the back porch just gazing at the beach from the house. And the sunset views!! Outstanding!

Family vacation

We loved Winterpast by the Sea. It was a fabulous home with everything we needed for a wonderful time together on the beach. Communication was also wonderful with the property manager. We received a call that the property was available a few hours early, which was so helpful, especially with toddlers!

Girl’s Trip

This house was perfect for our group. We loved being together, yet having privacy as well. Being on the beach, with a pool, couldn’t have been more optimal. The property was private, surrounded by greenery. Thank you for a wonderful place to enjoy lifelong friendships.

Great Family Getaway

This was a wonderful beach house for three families to get away to the beach to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our parents. There was plenty of room to spread out while we waited out Tropical Storm Cristobol - the younger kids were able to play upstairs while the teens hung out in one of the bedrooms and the adults in the living area. The beach was gorgeous and not too crowded. We loved having the beach set ups and the company was easy to contact to add one more for our crew. Bedrooms were comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. The kitchen had what we needed, with plenty of tableware for our large group. We enjoyed the pool and having the covered porch was especially beneficial during the first couple of rainy days. Overall, this was a fantastic home and we'll keep it on our short list for places to return to!

Winter Past no enforcement of private beach postings

Property was great but if customers are expected to keep paying very high rental rates in order to to be right on the beach with an advertised private beach, then something should be done to enforce the private beach access. Everyday there were multiple groups from other locations on the beach, that were no supposed to have access to the beach in front of our rental house, who set up tents and chairs in what was posted as a private beach. No one is enforcing the private access signs so if that is going to be the policy, that's fine but the rental rates need to be lowered and stop advertising private beach access and just list it as public beach access.
