Located in Seaside proper, steps from the beautiful beaches of South Walton and the shops and restaurants of Seaside, American Dream is a spacious slice of Americana. Adorned in red, white, and blue, this patriotic cottage offers architectural details like vaulted ceilings, spiral staircases, and built-in bookcases and benches.

American Dream shares running porches and balconies with its sister cottage, Another Dream. Designed much like a townhome, this property features its main living and dining spaces on the second floor with beautiful town views. American Dream's living spaces include a spacious family room with a TV/DVD, a dining space, and a full kitchen. The laundry room and a full bath with a shower complete the main living area.

Up the spiral staircase, you'll enjoy the loft space with a trundle bed (sleeps two). Down the spiral staircase are the two nearly identical main guest rooms. Each offers a queen bed, a built-in bench, a TV, and French doors that lead out to the main porch. The second guest bath with a shower separates these two rooms.

American Dream offers the very best in Seaside living. Come for the weekend or stay for the month - either way, American Dream is sure to be a dream come true for you and your family and friends!

*Passes for the fitness center and three community pools are available for purchase, at a rate of $84.00 per day + tax for this home. Passes must be purchased for the entire duration of your stay or not at all - partial passes are not available. Please contact host to purchase passes at the time of booking. *Wristbands are required to be worn at all times when using seaside amenities. Please provide accurate occupancy when booking. If accurate occupancy is not provided at least one week before your arrival, you may be subject to additional charges.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Very tight quarters

The location is perfect. But this house does NOT comfortably accommodate 8 or even really more 4. The bathrooms are the real limitation. The main living space (tiny kitchen and very small living area) are on the second floor. On that second floor is a "full bath" That full bath may be the smallest full bath I have ever seen. Sitting on the toilet your knees are touching the sink. The ground floor has 2 good size bedrooms each with queen beds. The ground floor shares a normal size bathroom. The bathroom is very dated with tub and shower curtain, but it is workable. The 3rd floor has 4 beds - 2 in a loft overlooking the 2nd floor living space and 2 beds in a separate room. The 3rd floor has 1/2 bath - no shower or tub. So if you are thinking of sleeping 4 people on the 3rd floor they will need to either use the world's smallest bath on the 2nd floor or trapse down 3 floors to only real bath being use by everyone in the house.The kitchen is very small and dated. The stairs in the house are very small spiral staircases. You will be challenged to get normal size suitcase up to the 3rd floor.Overall there is nothing wrong with the house as long as you recognize that it is very dated and very tight quarters. It was clean and everything worked. We had a minor maintenance issue during our stay, and the management company quickly addressed it. Seaside is beautiful and if you plan on not spending much time inside the actual house and sharing a bathroom then all good

Great property, wasn’t clean

Great area, cute house. Multiple sets of sheets / linens had stains on them. Also, for having such a big cleaning fee as last of the rental, not sure we should have to take out our own garbage. Ceiling fan in the downstairs bedroom sounds like it’s about to fall out of the ceiling.

Mold and Dirt

There was mold in the air vents, showers, floor In bathroom. The kicker - mold was found on the bedskirt!! A bed broke when sitting on it. Shutter slats missing in bathroom made to feel exposed so towel was used to cover it. Doors do not feel secure when locked due to wood rot. Vacasa management unhelpful throughout stay except to come and spray bleach and trade out the dirty sheets without informing us 3 women first. Personal items moved. 25+ years in renting at the beach this is the first review I ever had to make to hopefully help someone from renting a place where you can’t even sit on furniture.

Wonderful stay at American Dream

We loved our stay here! It was clean, the beds were comfortable and the location can’t be beat!!! It was very cozy for our family of 6! The porches on the bottom and second floor were fabulous as well!

Comfy and cozy

We enjoyed our stay at the American dream. It has a super homey feel to the place and everything you need. The only downside was that the dryer wouldn’t heat…. And the shower curtain was being held up on one side by a wad of toilet paper (both things I made VACASA aware of and I believe they will make sure are fixed). I would still stay there again. The walk to the shops and the beach weren’t bad at all and it was perfect for our house full of teenagers.

Great Location, Good Price

Great location just off of main area of seaside. Great accommodations, but photos make floorplan wider than it appears. It is long and deep, but it is a great place to stay. 3 stories of fun! Walk to anywhere you want at Seaside!

Beach house close to Seaside shopping and beach access

This property was a great place to stay for my family with 4 older kids. We enjoyed being able to walk just a few minutes to Seaside shopping and Pensacola beach pier. The home had everything we needed during our stay. Our kids thought the helical stairway was fun - although it was a little harder for mom and dad - but it was manageable. I would have given an all 5 star rating except for beds on the main floor that were uncomfortable and unclear directions on how to access the beach. Customer service did help after we asked about how to access private beaches and then had no further issues.

Perfect location

My husband and I took 3 teenage boys. Plenty of room, very cute home. Stocked with necessities for a few days (toilet paper, washing detergent, etc) which we appreciated. Everything is walking distance- shops, beach, restaurants. The farmers market was amazing on Saturday and Sunday. Loved it and will go back

Cute house in a great location

This property is cute. The stairs are kinda difficult to navigate but it’s great location. The house needs some sprucing up but overall we enjoyed it.

The location is 5 Star! Unfortunately, the house needs repairs (lamps in bedroom either broken or non existent, washer is loud and scary, furniture in den is flimsy, baths marginal) and next door is under renovation so the porch was impacted by workers, their music and loud talking.

Great location but not clean or well-kept

The house was dirty. Especially surfaces in kitchen and floors. Property needs to be touched up and cleaned up feom general wear and tear. Beds were not comfortable and linens and coverings were low quality and sparse. Kitchen was not well stocked for cooking or eating in.

Seaside Escape

We loved this little space, perfect location, great porches, lots of laughs, and tons of memories... although I'm not exactly sure it could "sleep 8", comfortably. We were originally scheduled to travel with 8 family members, but only 4 were able to make the trip (myself and my husband, our youngest son and a friend). The property is much smaller than it looks in the photos. I think "cozy" is a great description. The Queen beds may actually be double beds. The shower curtain rod would fall to the floor (or hit us on the head then the floor) with every shower, in both bathrooms. Children would love the twin beds in the loft at the top of the staircase and also in the bedroom, but not exactly ideal for 16 year old boys or adults. It is a great property in a perfect location... but it may be time for a little updating and maintenance. All in all, we had a wonderful time and we're beyond happy to have had the chance to get away after being on lockdown for 3 months.

American Dream is a great property. The location is outstanding. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. This was my first time in Seaside...I will definitely be back!

Cold and no parking

There was no parking. We were told we had two designated parking places but we didn’t. Also the bedrooms were freezing. To make them warm the rest of the house was really hot
