If you're looking for a stress-free vacation, Happy Heron’s Haven (#2201) is the perfect start. Located just steps away from 30A, we provide everything you need to get you settled on the beach. Just bring your favorite bathing suit and sunscreen, and you're set! And if you're up for a little more activity, biking the Timpoochee Trail, kayaking Eastern Lake or perusing the shops and restaurants, it’s all just minutes away.

Locally owned and managed, Happy Heron’s Haven is ideal for short or long stays. We strive to provide our guests with an excellent experience while enjoying our little piece of paradise. And you’ll benefit from saving on management fees!

Fantastic Stay

This property is in a great location and comes with all the amenities needed for a trip to the beach. We came with 3 children under the age of 6 and had everything needed for fun and comfortable trip. Having all the beach items accessible was a major plus and also was nice to not have to travel with these items or purchase once there!

Our week stay at 30A Condo.

We had a great stay at this condo. The pool was just outside our condo on the 2nd floor. The owner was always available for questions or anything we needed. The condo is in a gated community & directly across from the Old Florida Fish House. You can easily walk there. Our condo was clean & well kept. I hope we can go back soon. Thank you Lisa for everything.

We drove over12 hours before arriving at 7pm and the door code would not work. We called and text the host several times she never answered. We called VRBO and spoke to Hannah, who is WONDERFUL!! She also tried to reach the host with no luck. She called the host emergency contact and said the host was out of the country. After 4 hours (MIDNIGHT) of back and forth communication with Hannah (WHO WORKED AN HOUR OVER TO BE SURE WE WERE TAKEN CARE OF) we ended up in a hotel for one night and by the grace of God we found one of three condos available for the remainder of our stay!!

Family Vacation

My boyfriend, myself and his kids enjoyed it very much. We loved the location away from all of the touristy parts and the peace and quiet. We enjoyed eating at the Perfect Pig for breakfast and the big chill for night activities. It was a short trip to the pier in Panama where there was tons to do for the teens. We also enjoyed the donut shop, ice cream shops and steam boat grill within minutes of the condo. The master bathroom did have some drainage issues but other than that it was an excellent place to stay and the kids have decided this will be a normal thing so we can’t wait to get back already!

Nice trip!

The location of this property is central to the places people want to go. The beach is close by, good restaurants, shops, bike rental with riding trails, highway access, etc. The only issue I had was my GPS got me lost upon arrival. I suggest familiarizing yourself with the route instead of relying on GPS to take you to the property.

Cannot say enough nice things about this condo or Lisa

I cannot say enough nice things about this condo or the owner Lisa. The condo is renovated, clean, quiet, and comfortable. There are many little touches that we do not often see in short term rentals, things like an extra roll of TP and paper towels, to laundry detergent, and basic spices in the kitchen like salt, pepper, onion and garlic powder. Little things like this that made our stay so very enjoyable. Lisa is among the most engaged hosts we have stayed with. She was accommodating, checked in on us, and even provided restaurant recommendations for our stay. The unit is a second floor walkup end unit. The porch overlooks the pool. During our spring break trip there was only one night where we could hear people at the pool when we were getting ready for bed. In fairness, we were going to bed early after a long day at the beach. There was also music that could be heard that evening from the Old Florida Fish House Restaurant next door but it wrapped up around 9ish. As for beaches, I am not sure you can get much further from the beach and be still be right on 30A. But worry not. There are several public accesses nearby but we chose to spend $3 per day and enjoy Deer Lake Park a 3-5 minute drive from the condo. It may be the best $3 I have ever spent. They have a small parking lot at and they close the gate when the lot fills so get there early. The beach is about 400 yards over a new path from the parking. Because the lot is so small this beach is not at all crowded.
