Su ubicación perfecta a sólo 30 minutos del aeropuerto internacional, 1 hora de las playas del Pacífico, y céntricamente situado a las principales atracciones de Costa Rica, hace Casa del Sol su estancia de vacaciones perfecta en Atenas. El centro de esta pequeña y pintoresca ciudad pequeña se encuentra a solo 10 minutos en automóvil, donde encontrará una buena selección de buenos restaurantes, deliciosas panaderías, un mercado semanal de agricultores y tiendas de comestibles de buen tamaño.

Casa del Sol puede dormir un total de 6. Tiene una paleta de colores con un espacioso plano de planta abierto y espectaculares techos altos de madera abovedados. Hay grandes ventanales de vidrio para disfrutar de las hermosas vistas desde todos los ángulos, y una amplia cocina totalmente equipada con estufa a gas, nevera, cafetera, microondas, licuadora y mucho espacio en los gabinetes. La suite principal es enorme y tiene una magnífica vista a la montaña con vistas a los árboles crecidos, donde los pájaros tropicales como Toucans y Mot Mots visitan a diario. Las 2 habitaciones comparten el segundo cuarto de baño.

La casa tiene una gran combinación de colores vibrantes combinados con el arte costarricense y un ambiente tropical; Un hogar perfectamente feliz para celebrar sus merecidas vacaciones.

La piscina de aguas cristalinas está a solo un paso y está perfectamente posicionada para utilizar el sol todo el día para calentar el agua y alcanzar las temperaturas más cómodas para nadar y relajarse. Hay dos patios cubiertos, una necesidad en Atenas donde se puede sentarse fuera todo el año. Los jardines tropicales con varios árboles frutales (mango, plátano, naranja, mandarina) se envuelven alrededor de la casa. Descubrir los jardines es como un paseo por el parque, pasear para recoger sus frutos, y comenzar su día con un desayuno tropical en el patio al aire libre.
Nuestros gerentes de la propiedad, Aad y Marian Veltman, una pareja multilingüe (holandés-inglés-holandés-alemán) de Holanda, están dispuestos a darle la bienvenida a la Casa del Sol y harán todo lo posible para que su estancia sea un éxito. Pueden hacer arreglos para que usted tenga su refrigerador abastecido con sus comestibles favoritos a su llegada, o tener una comida casera lista para usted en su día de llegada.

Como servicio adicional a los huéspedes de nuestra casa, ofrecemos un servicio de recogida y devolución para ayudarle a evitar las posibles molestias involucradas en las transiciones dentro y fuera de su tiempo en Costa Rica (algo a considerar especialmente cuando usted tienen planes de viaje de noche, pero una comodidad agradable tener en cualquier caso). También ofrecemos servicio de alquiler de coches y excursiones a todos los rincones del país; por ejemplo: visita a los volcanes Poas y Arenal, jardines de la Catarata La Paz, tour en catamarán, visita a una finca de café orgánico, Zip Lining, ATV, rafting, cabalgatas, surf y otros tours personalizados a pedido de nuestros huéspedes , a lo largo de costa rica.

Casa del Sol es un hogar cómodo luz y soleado rodeado de exuberantes vistas de la naturaleza, un lugar perfecto para disfrutar de su estancia tropical de Costa Rica!

Para los huéspedes que se quedan más de 10 días, una limpieza semanal está incluido, nuestro ama de llaves maravilloso es una joya.

Hay Internet Wifi de alta velocidad, TV satelital SKY y línea telefónica fija.

Se cobrará una tarifa de limpieza de $ 75. Esto incluye la limpieza antes de su llegada y después de su salida.

Two Weeks at Casa Del Sol

Great place in a great location. The views are spectacular. I would stay there again. Hosts were also very responsive and helpful. A knife sharpener would be good to have for the kitchen, as knives were extremely dull; glad I brought my Buck knife. A steamer basket would also be useful for those who prefer to steam the fine produce available.

Relaxing getaway

What a great getaway! My husband and I really enjoyed the beautiful view and comfort of the house. The kitchen was fully appointed (salad spinner! wax paper!) so I was able to prepare meals with ease. Our dogs had fun in the spacious yard, but the smaller one figured out that she could squeeze through the front gate so we had to keep her tethered. The property managers were extremely prompt and responsive. Great vacation house!

Green Oasis

We lived at this property for a month and a half; it proved a perfect size for a couple both inside and outside the house as surrounded by a well-planned and well-kept garden. There was always at least one plant or shrub in bloom, and since the house sits atop a small hill overlooking a treed valley you were immersed in various shades of green and treated to a daily abundance of birds. The bright lights of the encroaching township have not reached the property yet, so even the nights were a treat while sitting at the outdoor table to enjoy a starry-lit sky. We particularly appreciated the full-size pool - morning, noon and night. The house is older and the kitchen and bathrooms could use an update, but this did not deter our enjoyment of it, especially because the house was priced very reasonably in comparison to other newer properties in the area, and because of the thorough weekly cleanings by Isabel. The description is generally accurate save for noting that the Satellite TV is subscription-based and there is no land-line. We were in good hands with PMA - the property managers (including Marian, Sandra, Marco and Klaas) with airport pick-ups, drop-offs, a wide-range of tours available, and our initial grocery list which was stocked for our arrival. We did all of our shopping in Atenas, which is about 20 minute drive away. It was not necessary to rent a car, as we were confidently able to rely on the local taxi drivers recommended by Sandra for any trips to town, on Marco who is a professional driver for the tours, and for the rest of the team for any minor issues with the house. Thank you all for making this part of our stay in CR feel like home.

We stayed for a second time in this lovely property for two weeks (two retired couples in our 70's). The house has a lovely view, is spacious, and has comfortable furnishings and beds. This is a great place for bird watchers who want privacy and quiet surroundings. The hosts were responsive to our requests for help with minor issues and we look forward to renting from them again. I recommend this property for its tranquility, covered patio near the pool, and its spaciousness. It is a short drive from Atenas which has a great Coope super mercado which makes self-catering a breeze.

Absolutely fabulous!

I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our time here! Pictures don't even describe how lovely this home is! We spent 2 full weeks, and wanted our trip to be about relaxing. With the exception of going to Ecotermales hot springs (which I also highly recommend), we simply enjoyed the house, pool, and views! Our "big" outings were walks in the towns, the feria and grocery store in Atenas -- oh, and eating out twice (Pequena Palonia and Park Place). The house and surroundings were all we needed for the relaxing trip we wanted! Aad and Marian and their team were wonderful! Very responsive to requests and questions. This was our 2nd trip to the area where they were the house managers, and we decided we won't go back without making sure we find a property that they manage! The only downside for the trip was having to leave! Can't wait to get to move there someday!

Perfect House!!!

Peace & serenity at Casa del Sol

The setting for Casa del Sol in Santa Eulalia is very beautiful and quiet with a nice view over the valley and surrounding hills. There are two separate outdoor living areas. On one side, you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening wine and wait for the toucans to drop by as you look out over the valley. On the other side, you have a very nice pool area. Vegetation has been well-maintained. Wildlife sightings included iguanas, blue-gray tanagers, toucans, chachalacas, and woodpeckers. The kitchen was well-equipped for two couples cooking at home for most of two weeks, and there are two dining areas. We did enjoy a couple of meals at the nearby El Jardin Restaurant. There were a couple of issues with plumbing at the house, but they were handled quickly by the management team. The bedrooms were back-to-back, but walls were soundproofed enough that it was not a problem. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

The setting is awesome

The property managers graciously allow us to do an emergency rental. A health issue kept us in CR longer than planned and management group worked to find us accommodations while I recovered. It was so pleasant to sit outside and enjoy the landscaping and hillside view. Lots of outfitting in the kitchen made it easy for us to cook in. It is a very comfortable home. We really enjoyed our extended stay in CR

Beautiful Property with Fantastic Hosts

What a beautiful property to stay at. Lots of outdoor space, with a Great pool, beautiful home inside. Everything that you could possibly want. I bought a home here in Costa Rica and arrived 2 weeks before the closing so we stayed here. They even got me groceries and put them in the fridge for my arrival. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome. What a Beautiful Country. Im Staying! BUT PLEASE TAKE THEIR ADVICE ON RENTING A CAR!!! We booked online with Economy and that was a Disaster. Tried to charge us an extra $500 so we just walked out! Then we booked with Solid and what a great experience that was. )O(

Fantastic Property and Tours!

It was our first time traveling outside the US for me and my learning disabled teenager, and we don't speak Spanish, so we probably needed more help than usual, but this host was happy to arrange for everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. The home was beautiful and immaculately maintained. The swimming pool was sparkling clean and a refreshing place to unwind in the afternoon. The views out the large picture windows were pure Costa Rica, complete with a pair of toucans that visited every day and a lawn iguana. We went on several tours with Bunki Tours during our two week stay, including a trip to the Basilica in Cartago, the Poas volcano, Isla Tortuga catamaran tour, La Paz waterfall gardens, and monkey mangrove tour. Marian, Aad and Sandra went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and fun in so many thoughtful ways it is impossible to list them all: booking our volcano visit at the time most likely to be clear (it was!), doing the driving and navigating to the tour locations, taking detours so we could see more of the country, helping my son step by step on the natural staircases down to the waterfalls, carrying our rain gear, running ahead to get the car so we didn't have to walk extra steps, even booking our COVID tests and providing transportation to the local lab to get them done. As the mom who is used to having to do it all and think of everything herself, this support was so much appreciated and made for a lovely and memorable vacation!

Nice place.

My husband and I rented the place for a month. Enjoyed our stay very much. The property is very private. A couple of negatives for us. First, the house has 3 levels- bedrooms on main level, then one step down to the kitchen, then one step down again to the living room. Second, the property is lovely, but the fencing doesn't go all the way around. Our 50 pound dog got under the fence-lots of escape holes. Now all the positives. Property managers are AWESOME! Marian even took us to get a phone! They were super helpful, but not intrusive. It's in a quiet neighborhood with a nice little store and a great restaurant just a minute away. Only 10 minutes to town proper. I would absolutely stay again, if I weren't living in Costa Rica now!

Serene Paradise!

We love Casa De Sol. It is in the perfect location central to all. The home is spacious and clean. We had all the amenities necessary to feel at home. Fantastic Location / Views / Settings

We spent 6 nights at the property & loved being there. The host (Marian) was great. Very responsive to our questions & any help that we needed. Internet was slow - on average about 10 to 11 mbs down. However, it never dropped and we were fully able to work with video conferencing, webinars etc. The views are stunning - every morning we saw toucans in the trees, many different types of birds, iguanas etc. The only negative were bugs - there were bugs that came out at night & were attracted to the lights. It is the tropics & you never really get rid of them. Overall, we loved the stay & and the area.

Serene Paradise

The property is serene and tranquil. The views are amazing and the grounds are immaculate. This was our second time staying. The first was a 3 months stay and the house was perfect for my teenage daughter and I. The location is central and near amenities. Marian, the property manger is extremely helpful and accommodating. An extremely peaceful stay.
