"Put in the reservation/booking notes we were celebrating our baby moon and wedding anniversary and would be interested in a room upgrade. When we arrived no congratulations, acknowledgment of notes at all. When I asked about a room upgrade I was told I had to call Hilton directly which I found strange. Overall staff was pleasant, there was loud construction going on during our stay. Restaurants and pools on site were convenient. Beach not safe for toddlers/ small children."

"South Point resort is very nice, but it is far from the calming beaches and activities in Barbados. They don’t offer complementary shuttle service to the beaches or airport thus far each taxi or Uber is 30 US dollars per Way. If this hotel is in a different location, it will be every bit of a five. "The apartment is located more or less on the beach in close proximity to a 24 hr. bar. On Sundays there are beach parties that are loud. The room was never cleaned by staff. I left my garbage outside and it was not collected for days. Outside of those things, its a nice intimate space in the heart of Bridgetown."

"This is an excellent hotel for its price in Barbados. This is primarily because it is not on the beach. It’s also the best breakfast I’ve had in a hotel there and I’ve stayed at several. The pool, location, and water sports amenities such as snorkeling water skiing and snorkeling with the turtles was a amazing free addition. "Lovely hotel. Room was very comfortable with good amenities. There were groups of sports teams from the UK there. Unfortunately when they arrived the restaurant focused more on them than the other guests resulting in long wait times to order and receive food and drink. You must treat ALL your guests appropriately. I believe the hotel was built in 2003. They can use some upgrades. The rooms have actual "keys" instead of key cards. Overall, my stay was very pleasant. I would return again."
