Independent villa, for exclusive use, with swimming pool heated for holidays in southern Sicily in S. Croce Camerina (Ragusa) 400 meters from the sea, The villa is on two independent levels (connected only by external spiral staircase). Ground floor: living room with kitchenette, 3 bedrooms (1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds), 1 bathroom, large veranda for outdoor dining, air conditioning. Upper floor with cooking area, double bed and bathroom, air conditioning. The property has all the necessary amenities for a pleasant holiday: air conditioning, washing machine, wi-fi, 1 satellite TV, beautiful swimming pool surrounded by a well-kept garden with tropical plants, lawn and typical Sicilian trees (oranges and lemons). Swimming pool (45 m2) with outdoor shower, furniture in covered veranda, equipped with en suite bathroom: toilet, sink, shower and dressing room. A near the seaside resort Caucana, in the southern part of Sicily, about 2.5 km from the renowned seaside resort Marina di Ragusa. The ancient and splendid city of art Ragusa (Sicily), pearl of the baroque ibleo (Unesco heritage) Marina di Ragusa and Donnalucata. 500 m from the picturesque beaches of the "Montalbano" Commissioner. We had a wonderful week staying at Marcelos beautiful villa. Perfect for families and groups. The villa has plenty of space inside and out. Lovely grounds and an extremely well equipped kitchen. Perfect for rest and relaxation.

Family of four - stayed in July 2024. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back. Marcello was the perfect host - communication was quick and helpful. He met us at the property and showed us around - there was also a welcome pack including water, soft drinks, wine, beer and some food essentials. The villa has three good-sized bedrooms downstairs, two of which are en-suite, as well as a separate family bathroom and a large kitchen/diner/living room. Upstairs there is a self-contained apartment with it's own kitchen and bathroom. Outside there is covered parking for up to three cars, a large pool, and a separate "pool house" with toilet, shower and sink as well as a covered outside seating area. Loads of sunbeds etc. too. The villa was easy enough to find using the Google Maps link provded by Marcello. Would highly recommend a car - it is possible to walk to the nearest town, Punta Secca - but it takes around 25 minutes and the roads aren't very well lit so we found ourselves driving most of the time that we went out, but not a big problem. Weather was very warm, but between the air con and swimming pool we were fine - even though downstairs bedrooms don't have their own units the unit in the hall outside was nough to keep us cool. Overall, a lovely villa - would highly recommend.

Set 5 minutes from the sea, this is a comfortable villa with large pool that isn't overlooked. The area around is the villa is agricultural with sheep next door, and Italian holiday homes that are mainly used in July and August. It's a great base to explore the history, culture and cuisine of the Ragusa region. We were greeted by the owners son, who was a fantastic host who was in WhatsApp to answer any questions.

Un très beau séjour. La location correspond parfaitement à l’annonce. La piscine est propre et grande. Le jardin est magnifique. Le logement est très propre et fonctionnel. Marcello est un hôte très agréable avec qui la communication a été très facile.

Abbiamo passato 2 settimane fantastiche. 26/06-11/07/2020. 2 Famiglie in totale 8 persone. La casa è esattamente come viene proposta, anzi meglio. Ampia sia dentro che fuori. La terrazza di sotto è fatta per starci tutto il giorno , sempre all'ombra (tranne la mattina presto) e per fortuna quest'anno sempre ventilata. Ha parcheggi privati interni. Piscina privata con spogliatoio/doccia/wc separati e doccia esterna molto comodo quando si torna dalla spiaggia insabbiati. La piscina viene pulita dal proprietario ogni 3 giorni. Se ci sono degli inconvenienti interviene immediatamente. Le camere sono ampie. La posizione è un po' lontana dal piccolo centro (15min a piedi) ma molto vicina alle spiagge. Marcello il proprietario è molto disponibile e gentilissimo.

Marcello was a wonderful host, attentive throughout our stay, regularly checking in to see if we were ok. He was there to greet us at the start and provided lots of little extras including delicious homemade arancini. The villa itself was ideal and the outside space with the pool was fabulous and well maintained. Staying in an Italian community in a seaside village was exactly what we wanted, just a shame we had to go home! Thanks Marcello

We rented for three weeks and we wanted a relaxed experience embedded in a small Italian community. We certainly got that. We have two kids (3,4) and nine of us speak Italian but we managed to get buy fine and even made great friends with the neighbours using google translate. The property is excellent, but also local places like Marina De Ragusa, Punta Secca and the local beaches are great. We also explored a bit further, and this place gave us the platform to do that. We had a few normal property issues early on but Marcelo sorted them swiftly. He is a fantastic host and is always there for us. Even taking us to a local mechanic to sort out a rental car tyre issue. He is passionate about his guests so certainly cares and goes the extra mile. The local village is friendly, and is within walking distance, but with the heat (32-39 during our stay), we would typically drive. A few tips: There is a decent maxiSpar just beyond Marina De Ragusa for the big grocery shops. We arrive Mid June and it was quite quiet around the communities, but then got much busier towards the end of June. Ask Marcelo to explain the Sicilian rubbish system All in all, a fantastic stay and would recommend to others looking to have the same experience we were hoping for. Thanks again Marcelo. We had an amazing couple of weeks here, the house and flat are clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a good area for outside dinning, in fact we ate outside every breakfast, lunchtime and evening that we were there! Beautiful swimming pool and a beach that is only a short walk away. The garden is large with a nice BBQ area and the whole property is very private. The location is great for exploring the towns, villages, beaches and markets nearby. Thank you Marcello 🙂

Wir waren mit 4 Erwachsenen und drei Kindern für 2 Wochen bei Marcello zu Gast. Das Ferienhaus ist ruhig gelegen und hat eine gute Ausstattung. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt! Ganz besonders toll ist natürlich der Pool. Wir hatten einen super Urlaub, haben viele Ausflüge in die umliegenden Barock-Städte gemacht, die leeren Strände, das warme Meer und die Sonne in vollen Zügen genossen! Einfach nur schön!

Das Ferienhaus, zentral in der Nähe zum Strand zwischen Marina di Ragusa und Punta Secca gelegen, bietet alles, was man sich wünscht und wie es in der Beschreibung steht. An erster Stelle möchten wir Marcello, der Vermieter, und seine deutschsprachige Tochter loben, denn gleich bei der Anreise wartete eine große und üppige Überraschung im Haus bzw. in unserem Kühlschrank auf uns. Außerdem nahmen sie sich stets unserer Fragen an und standen uns jederzeit mit Rat und vor allem Tat (vielen Dank nochmal für die Begleitung, Nadia!!!) zur Verfügung, ohne aber auch nur einmal aufdringlich zu sein oder unsere Idylle zu stören! Wirklich toll vom Anfang bis zum Ende!!! Unbedingt erwähnenswert (das hat uns also richtig gut gefallen) ist vor allem der Pool, der mit 10x5 m richtig groß und konstant tief (etwa 1,60 m) ist - die gemütlich überdachte Terrasse, auf welcher wir die Abende verbrachten, - die zentrale Lage des Hauses für Ausflüge mit unserem Mietwagen (ohne den geht es aber wohl nicht), wenngleich es im September bei uns in der Gegen unglaublich leer war - der ansehnlich grüne und große Garten, - der Service, welcher uns geboten wurde (komplette Grundreinigung nach einer Woche inkl. Wechsel der Bettwäsche und der Handtücher) und nicht zuletzt die Ausstattung der Finca (mehrere Wäschespinnen, Waschmaschinen, fünf Duschen!, ausreichend Liegen, Stereoanlage und Toilette am Pool uvm... Wir, zwei Pärchen - Anfang 30 - würden jederzeit wieder bei Marcello buchen und hier Urlaub in Sizilien machen.

Siamo stati molto, molto bene in questa proprietà. Da sottolineare l'eccellente accoglienza di Marcello e la sua disponibilità veramente straordinaria. Consigliamo questo luogo dove si possono trascorrere delle vacanze molto piacevoli in un posto tranquillo e bello. La casa è molto ben fornita di tutto l'occorrente, pulita e confortevole. La piscina e il giardino, molto ben tenuti, offrono poi un ulteriore svago dopo una giornata trascorsa al mare o alla scoperta dei bellissimi luoghi circostanti. Grazie a Marcello per l'accoglienza, la disponibilità, i cornetti al pistacchio e tanto altro. Un luogo veramente da consigliare.
