Architectural details and carefully hand picked furnishings make this home both elegant and utterly comfortable at the same time. On the main floor guests will find one bedroom (full size bed and twin trundle), bath with shower, kitchen, dining room, living room and mini-office.

A gated yard with BBQ and outdoor dining is steps from the living room and provides a private and quiet space for outdoor dining, reading or visiting with friends and family.

The cozy mini office is the perfect spot for searching the web to find a great Santa Barbara restaurant, check emails or write a post card to a loved one.

On the second floor, the master suite is both expansive and peaceful. The en-suite bath has a jetted tub, separate shower and double sinks. The master suite also includes a walk-in closet that is ample enough for storage or to act as a mini bedroom for a child or young adult using the provided twin foam floor bed and linens (sheets, pillow, comforter).

Guests walk just three and a half blocks to State Street, The Arlington Theater, Granada Theater, Paseo Nuevo shops, hair and body spas, dining, Museums and more. Public transportation is just three blocks away to take you anywhere in the tri-cities area (Goleta, Carpenteria, Montecito or numerous Santa Barbara destinations).

A two car garage along with a third uncovered parking spot allow guests to bring up to three vehicles, a boat or small RV.

The kitchen is skillfully stocked with not just the basics but also special items such as a muffin tin, bread pan, salad spinner and veggie steamer. Guests who love to cook will be pleasantly surprised.

Included in the kitchen are: coffee maker, toaster and blender.

For families with young children, this home includes standard a pack-n-play crib (w/sheet) chair-mounted high chair and umbrella stroller.

While this home takes pets, the side yard is the lightly gated area. If your pet is a jumper or larger they may not do well in this yard.

Loved everything about our place at Curley Ave: The location (5 blocks from Downtown), the spacious two-car garage, the quiet neighborhood, and the super clean comfortable and bright & cheery living space…. Simply put, we LOVED our stay and very much hope to come back again someday soon!!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Very conveniently located with quick walking access to State Street, restaurants, groceries, etc. Also, great parking with two garage spaces and a surface lot if you have a visitor. While the listing advertises that it can sleep six people, we didn't see how that would be possible given that the master bedroom has a king bed, and the other room has a twin with a pull out single mattress underneath it. Works well for a party of 4, but wouldn't recommend for larger parties.

The house is cute and nicely situated in an older downtown neighborhood. Just a few minutes to beaches very happy they let me bring my dog! Will stay again.

My partner, our dog, and I stayed here for a couple nights before, during, and after our wedding. Was a great, quiet neighborhood for our dog with a clean, safe yard for her to sniff and relax in. the space was large enough that we were able to have family stop by for a few hours (and help us get ready!). It was a very easy walk to the excitement and amenities of State Street. We'd definitely recommend and absolutely consider staying again when we next visit SB!

Only complaints are that they need overhead fans/lights in the bedrooms and living room. Also need a split a/c unit in the upstairs bedroom as opposed to the portable a/c unit that is currently in use. Finally, a dust buster and Keurig coffee machine would be nice. Other than that, the location is great and beds are comfortable. Had a very enjoyable stay.

My husband and I rented this house for a week while we are in Santa Barbara working remotely. It was really quiet and peaceful, and we loved the location. During lunch, we could easily walk to the main area with restaurants to pick up lunch.

The big advantage to this house is its location. It is only three blocks away from all of the restaurants and entertainment that State street has to offer. The beach is about 1 mile away, we usually chose to drive to the beach. The house had what is needed and everything was in working order. Also, the management team was very responsive and helpful. Things to be aware of when renting this property: It is a small place (1,200 SF) so things will be tight if depending on the number of people. It is also in a tightly packed neighborhood with all of the expected issues when the houses are close together. You will be navigating alleys to get to the house.

Umbrella full of mold and mechanism broken; charcoal grill in horrible shape; welcome mat looks to be very very old and should be replaced (not very welcoming); no shades in kitchen , second bedroom or living room and the sun coming in exactly when I wanted to cook made it intolerable!!! Beastly hot throughout lower level A/C only worked in bedroom upstairs and no cooling downstairs. Totally unacceptable!! Do not recommend this cute house to anyone until they make it livable. I stayed for 4 weeks and cut my stay short by 5 days. Too expensive for a terrible house.

Great location, close to everything, great communication with host! Double garage was nice to have due to narrow alley and limited parking on streets. Needs a monthly exterminator due to lots of spiders and bugs! Overall it was an amazing Vacation getaway!

Thank you for the lovely stay in Santa Barbara. The home on Curley was the perfect pandemic getaway for our family (my husband, myself, and our 8 y/o). We had everything we needed in the comfortable home, the neighborhood was walkable and quiet after 10pm, and several beaches and hikes within a few minutes' drive. We'd love to stay again!

This SB Beach Cottage was cozy and comfortable. The house had been designed with many special touches, wood floors, beamed ceilings, lovely blue and white decor. The upstairs bedroom is its own little oasis-- lots of light, a very comfortable bed, and lounge chair. The yard is cute and private and the patio set is great. We appreciated and spent a lot of time outdoors for meals during these Covid times. The location of the home is walking distance to downtown and many sights. One minor concern that didn't change our assessment is that the dishwasher didn't seem to clean fully. There was residue on a glass and silverware when we arrived. It didn't clean off even when we ran the dishwasher again. (We hand washed it off) Maybe it was operator error on our part . Minor concern overall in an otherwise lovely home. We hope to come back!

We would have loved to stay longer! This little house is so cute and typical SB downtown cottage. It can accommodate a lot of people - families, friends - with separate and private bedrooms. Lots of room to gather. The private yard and garages are a plus. Customer service is great. Owners/manager are super helpful and caring. I totally understand the high security deposit. It's a classic older home with nice furnishings. They have made it very homey and comfortable and want to protect their belongings. It's an easy place to take care of. We definitely recommend.

Nicely updated older home in and older neighborhood. We loved that we were able to walk to State Street, Ralphs Supermarket and a really good sushi restaurant barely a block away. Large garage, a luxury in this neighborhood, was a bit hard to get into the first couple of times due to the tight alleyway but became easier each time. Despite having other homes very close it was amazingly quiet. Fast internet was appreciated.

The house is in a quiet location a few blocks from downtown SB, which is an easy walk. The house is just off the 101 so very accessible - although you not aware of the road during your stay. The beach is a bit further away for the house but only a few minutes in the car (or walk of approx. 8-10 blocks) and there is plenty of parking in SB - much free for first 90 minutes and not expensive thereafter. Very nice open plan living and kitchen area with a private garden with bbq, table and chairs - quite a sun trap. The upstairs master bedroom is particularly large and spacious with an ensuite. Good wifi connection - important as we had 2 teenagers with us! The only negative was the deposit of $750 - which seems high compared to other properties we booked through other agencies for our trip.
