Lillie’s Oceanview RUSTIC Boho Surf Cottage Steps to the beach & fun!

  • With the incredible location on Lillie Ave., you have the convenience of being able to walk to many unique stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and the beach. Our home was built in 1910 and is RUSTIC. The cottage is cozy and comfortable, but please remember it’s an older home. The hardwood floors creak a little, and the tile in the kitchen isn’t new. Lillie’s BOHO surf cottage is full of soul and good vibrations. With a wood stove in the main room, this vacation rental is NOT equipped with heat or air conditioning. Each room has a fan and a space heater. There is no dishwasher. Community tennis and basketball courts are a few minutes' walk from the house. Lookout Park is located nearby and has a playground for young children. Parking notes: Free parking is available in the driveway for two vehicles. Due to local laws, guests must be at least 21 to book. A parent or legal guardian must accompany guests under 21 for the reservation duration. Quiet Hours: 10:00 pm - 9:00 am. Please respect our neighbors.
    Backyard area with fire pit. Ideal for a couple and families. Enjoy being minutes from the beach, downtown Summerland, Montecito, Santa Barbara, Carpinteria, and the many other attractions right at your fingertips! For stays longer than 7 days, the unit is cleaned once a week with a $95 weekly cleaning charge. You will be a 5-minute walk to Summerland Beach, a 3-minute walk to Summerland Winery, a 3-minute walk to Red Kettle Coffee, a 3-minute walk to Summerland Beach Café, a 5-minute walk to GODMOTHER’s bookstore and cafe, a 5-minute drive to Montecito (north), an 8-minute drive to Carpinteria (south), and a 10-minute drive to Santa Barbara (north). Guests can feel at home with amenities like a washing machine and WiFi. Experience what our Summerland Beach Cottage offers while staying at our family house.

Beautiful cottage. Great picture window looking out at the ocean and Channel Islands. We will definitely will be back. Quick walk to restaurants and the beach. Amy was wonderful. A great host and provided everything we needed and more!

Absolutely loved my quilting weekend here! Spent the whole weekend at my sewing machine looking out the beautiful picture window. Hoping to come back next year.

Amazing cozy beach cabin with California surfer boho vibes. Love the uniqueness of the property - felt more like a home than a stuffy vacation rental. View of the ocean through the large window was unbeatable, and all shops and food stops are mere blocks away to walk - as well as the beach! Host was a wonderful communicator. Will be back next time we are the area!

Cute cottage with a great view of the ocean, nice little back yard, and easy access to the beach and to Highway 101. The host responded immediately to our texts. We would definitely stay here again.

Our host(ess) offered gracious hospitality and made sure we could get in touch with her with any questions ! Lots of varied books and games are available. . The kitchen has salt, pepper, various spices, olive oils, vinegar and keurig & regular coffee makers . . Such a lovely quaint cottage !

I have stayed here several times and it is just as inviting and welcoming each time! The location is wonderful, the view is amazing, and it offers a very private house and yard with a charming atmosphere. Amy, the agent, is great at communicating & always makes me feel at home. Summerland is a cute, quaint town and is very close to Montecito and Santa Barbara. I have family in Santa Barbara and I hope to continue to stay at this property many more times in the future.

This was such a perfect, relaxing, casual vibe for our 3-day weekend. There is a roomy living room and a kitchen that is stocked with pretty much everything you would need. The backyard is a great place to hang out and the ocean view out the front window was so peaceful. This cottage is also walkable within 3-5 minutes to coffee shops, bookstore, boutiques and restaurants. Super cute town and we would stay there again.

Lillie’s was a wonderful stay for my friend and I who were in town from LA & AZ , for a wedding. It has incredible views of the ocean and landscape. The house is decorated really unique and gives the surf bungalow feel. Would definitely stay here again.

Roomy, whimsical beach cottage

Lots of room for our group of 4. Spectacular beach view from living room, Property was very conveniently located close to Montecito to the north and Carpenteria to the south. Comfortable beds and roomy bedrooms. Overall a very enjoyable stay.

We loved staying at this charming beach cottage. Amazing beach views and the host was exceptionally wonderful. We left some stuff behind on accident and they went out of their way to help us get it back. We would visit again in the future!

We loved staying at this cute cottage. The only bummer was that we didn’t get to hang out at the property for extended time due to being in town for a lacrosse tournament, but would love to go back. The coffee shop down the street has GREAT coffee and the bookstore “Godmothers” is the coziest I’ve ever been to.

Girls' weekend

The location was excellent. The town of Summerland had wonderful food and shopping experiences. We all loved the little market and Godmother's bookstore. The location was a short drive to the wharf and beaches. Highly recommend a stay at this cute cottage.

Great location, we were able to walk to town and to a small beach. It was still close enough to easily drive to Santa Barbra “Funk Zone” and State Street. We came for a wedding so really didn’t spend much time at the house, but we plan to come back again soon!
