Bring your pup and stay awhile at this cozy, secluded home tucked away on four-and-a-half wooded acres just 10 minutes from Sandpoint. Start your days with hot breakfasts prepared in your well-equipped, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a table for six, then settle into the adjacent living area with high ceilings, large windows, a warming gas fireplace, and a flatscreen TV. The kids can head down to the lower-level rec room where they can play foosball, darts, or just watch their own shows and movies on a second TV. This room is off a massive garage offering an indoor basketball hoop, cornhole set and space for parking boats, cars, or snowmobile trailers. Outside, there's a large furnished deck with a gas fire table and gas grill, a fire pit in the yard below (seasonal use only), and a private outdoor hot tub under the stars. There is a gorgeous variety of trees in all directions.

What's nearby:
If you're looking to hit the slopes in winter, Schweitzer Mountain Resort, the best family-friendly resort in the Pacific Northwest, is less than 14 miles north. In warm weather, play some disc golf at the Baldwood DGC just three miles away (there is a set of discs at the house!), spend afternoons at Sandpoint City Beach Park, or bring your clubs and head over to the Idaho Club Golf Course, 13 miles from your door. When it's time to venture out, you'll find several terrific shops and restaurants close by including The Hydra Steakhouse, Second Avenue Pizza, MickDuff's Brewpub & Fiesta Bonita Mexican Restaurant. Be sure to check out Lake Pend d'Oreille in the summer!

We had a good stay at the Wood View. Some clearer driving instructions to the home would be nice, we drove on a "private" do not disturb road that Maps had took us through. Check in was easy, I received the details for the door code enough in advance to be ready upon arrival. I'm not completely sure if it was mentioned in the description, but it would be difficult for a person with a mobile disability granted the main floor was on the second level. The home was mostly clean with a fully stocked kitchen for cooking and grilling. My wife did have to clean out the coffee pot from excess grounds left in it. The restroom was stocked well with soap, shampoo, body wash, and towels too. The bedrooms were clean and tidy, some curtains would be helpful with the morning light for a sleep in morning. Each room had fans or a cooler to help with the temperature too. The patio was nice but a little messy with quite of bit of bird droppings on the furniture and lots of natural nature debris on the floor. Some of the steps leading to the pathway for the hot tub could be a little more secure too. All a slight easy overlook for the beautiful scenery. The game room and basketball hoop was a hit for our two children along with a game council that sufficed for our gamers. Over all we had a wonderful stay together. The perfect little getaway. Thank you.
