Huckleberry House remodeled mountain retreat!

This completely remodeled in 2023 mountain retreat exudes charm and little luxuries. The wall of windows looking out into the woods and seasonal stream feel so exclusive and quiet, yet less than a 5 minute drive gets you to the Schweitzer shuttle, Starbucks, disc golf course, trailheads and more. 10 minutes and you're at the beach or downtown Sandpoint. Soak in the hot tub (to be installed in November) after a long day of outdoor fun, cook a beautiful meal in the well appointed kitchen, play games with friends and family, or just hang out and enjoy life. New bedding on comfortable beds. New towels in the tile bathrooms with showers that rain from the ceiling. New couches in front of the new smart tv. Get cozy with the gas fireplace in the cold season, and stay cool in the AC when it's hot. We believe in providing plenty of necessities, such as TP, paper towels, dish and laundry soap, pantry staples, hot tub towels, and more to make our guests as comfortable as possible.

Absolutely beautiful cabin! We loved staying at your house. Perfect location, even though it’s only 10 minutes away from the soccer field and downtown, it feels like you’re in the forest away from everyone. Appreciated all the attention to detail! From the huckleberry house coasters, to the Idaho posters, and the comfortable recliner, every inch of the home felt loved. We definitely look forward to returning!

We love the place! The important things to us are comfy beds and a good shower. It has both . The bathtub doesn’t drain well, but that’s no big deal to us. Everything was clean and the place smelled good. We are definitely going to try a reserve it again next year. Maybe in the spring when the creek is running. Absolutely love it

Very comfy cabin in the woods. Needs dressers for clothes. Each bedroom has plenty of room for some type of chest. A book describing how TV works, internet , where switches could be found, hot tub instructions. Also no wine glasses. We had a great time and loved the wonderful kitchen, dining area and TV room. Will reserve again on our next trip to Sandpoint.

This was our second time staying at the Huckelberry House and it is a family favorite. It is a beautiful location and very relaxing. The home is clean and well laid out and equipped with everything we need. I love the kitchen in particular. We hope to be back again

- [ ] front door Key code did not work (used backup key from lockbox) - [ ] Wi-Fi did not work, even after requesting help from host - [ ] Temp controls inside very bright in bedrooms and could not be dimmed locally, no ac that we could feel - [ ] Sheets did not stay on bed - [ ] Check for bugs, wasp found in twin bed - [ ] Hot tub was finicky, kind of worked and never seemed to shutdown - [ ] Grill did not work (or I could not get it to work) - [ ] Space was very good for 3 people - [ ] Location outstanding - [ ] Very slow, if any, communication after requests for help.

I cannot say enough about our stay! The location was perfect for traveling the area. We were able to easily travel between Bonner’s Ferry, Sagle and Coeur d’Alene! A perfect cabin

I have to say this place is very under advertised…. What a gem! The large window wall that is the perfect view of the creek flowing cannot be matched! The place was so comfortable, the decor was perfect, the supplies were abundant, communication with the host was great too. This is probably the best place we have stayed and were sad to leave it. What a gem!

Great little cabin in the woods

Very nice cabin with lots of amenities. We enjoyed our stay immensely including the hot tub after a day of skiing. The cabin had a lot of privacy and we were able to enjoy the quietness of the woods and some deer watching. Would come back for sure.

Would Stay Again!

Stayed here for a week long snowboard trip and absolutely would stay again! The location to Schweitzer is perfect and this house had everything we needed and more. Really appreciated the kitchen having a great cookware, a full spice rack, coffee, tea, along with plenty of paper towels and cleaner. The extra blankets and plush towels were also a great bonus. Hot tub was a great way to relax after a long day on the slopes. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay close to Schweitzer this is definitely your best bet!

Perfect family mountain getaway

Huckleberry house is beautiful and scenic, with the sweetest decor. Our kids loved the house so much they declared we had to build ours just like it. The hot tub was so nice to come back to after a long day on the mountain, and the kitchen was my favorite part. You can hear the trains nearby and the creek is so cool. We can’t wait to go back go another stay. It was cozy and felt like home.

Cozy Weekend Getaway

This cabin was absolute perfection! From the moment we opened the door... we were immediately charmed by the decor, the setting, and the perfectly set-up and well-stocked cabin. This place was everything we were hoping for ... and had everything we needed for our cozy weekend getaway a few days after Christmas. (even had Christmas lights outside and a darling mini Christmas tree just inside the front door!) The gas fire place conveniently added to the warmth ... and the hot tub was a fun place to relax in the midst of the stunning outdoor setting. The kitchen was perfect for cooking a few meals... the location was great for a quick trip into town... the bed was comfy... the heated floor in the bathroom was awesome ... and the stream running right outside the living room was amazing!! We will definitely be back!!

Very clean, fresh remodel, all the amenities and little touches like ample towels for the hot tub, all the cutlery, utensils, and cookware you’d need, even a well appointed spice rack to cook with. 4th of July get away

Lovely home that included everything we needed. It was a nice place to relax after spending the day playing on the water. The hot tub was nice and we really enjoyed the view from the living room window. We would definitely stay here again.
