With gorgeous views of the Pend Oreille River and the surrounding forests and mountains, this beautiful waterfront home is perfect for your next family getaway. Enjoy access to your very own level beach area for the kids, as well as an L-shaped private dock with summer moorage in a protected bay of Pend Oreille. This 23-acre property also offers a beautifully landscaped yard, a barbecue and sitting area, and an impressive river rock fireplace to curl up to each evening. The basement has recently been converted into another fully-furnished bedroom, offering an additional sleeping option for your group.

What's nearby:
This expansive piece of waterfront property borders 150 acres of state land with trails and additional waterfront. In the winter, when the water level goes down, you'll have access to wonderful cross country skiing and snowshoeing. There's even a boat launch located at Morton Slough about half a mile away, making this an ideal spot for summer or winter recreation.

Great Location But Run Down

This is a great location, BUT the table and countertops had dried food on them. The deck and stairs need replaced, dangerous for elderly folks. The fireplace full of ashes and floors were dirty. The house is just old and in need of attention. The dishes are by far second hand, at this price point you expect the home to be sound, clean, and have nice amenities. The refrigerator handle was broken and inside the second shelf lid was missing. Slider door screen broken, no wood for wood stove or firepit outside. I could go on and on, I think you get the picture..

Beautiful home

This was a beautiful place. The home is very comfortable and plenty of room. The outside area is absolutely beautiful with plenty of different spaces. Landscaping is also great.

Wonderful property with great views

This is an outstanding property! Great views, lake access, mountain views, privacy and relaxed setting. The log house is very nice, with a great layout, room for a large family, great outdoor space and all the amenities to just stay home and enjoy the sunshine. Our family of 5 really enjoyed all there was to do on the property, in Sandpoint and on the lake. I can't think of a better place to enjoy the outdoors and relax with our family.

Nice location

Nice house on a spacious lot, quiet area, lots of birds, nice views. stayed in winter without any snow- water at more of a distance than the pictures due to season. It’s 45 minutes to Schweitzer. Did not get to enjoy outdoor seating which looks nice. Enjoyed indoor fireplace (bring wood).

Short Vacation

This is a great property. Just 2 of us and our 2 dogs. They had plenty of room to explore and enjoy too. Beds were comfy property was clean and well stocked for cooking in door or out. Perfect place to relax with kids and grandkids

Thanks so much for sharing your home. It was a perfect setting for our family get together. We loved the beach, the trails and back roads to walk, the local family of bald eagles, the fire pits (it would have been nice to know that wood was provided when we asked) & yard toys. The kayaks were a nice extra but some life jackets would have been nice. The large land was great for folks to get some alone time when they wanted and we never felt like we were alone n top each other ( there were 7 adults, a 4 yr old and a dog), the beach was great for the 4 year old as it was like a giant wading pool. Thanks again and we hope to get back there again.

My son's 16th birthday

We had the best time celebrating my son's 16th birthday with family. My son picked the house and called it the "cabin mansion." We had a great time and were pleasantly surprised by the price for how great this house is.

Gorgeous property and house

Huge house in a gorgeous remote area. Plenty of space for 2 families of 4 each. Skiing at Schweitzer is 40 minutes away. We downhill skied, puzzled, played games, read books, cross country skied right out of the house and cooked some great meals. Overall a great getaway. Would love to come back in the summer.

Stunning home with beautiful sunsets! Already planning another visit!

Birthday weekend away and the house did not disappoint! Sandpoint is an ongoing destination of ours, and this house just became a new favorite!

Relaxing Weekend

Sandpoint Getaway

We loved it. Clean, beautiful scenery out of every window. Loved the beach, boat deck, fire pits and what a great kitchen. Not only would we stay again we already booked a vacation here for next year.

Paradise

We had such a special weekend celebrating our children's high school graduation. The pictures are beautiful but the place is so much more special in person. We were able to bring our boat, go fishing every day and enjoy the nature trails. The birds are incredible, particularly the bald eagles and osprey. Our dogs exhausted themselves running, playing and swimming. We feel so lucky that we were able to enjoy such a wonderful Idaho paradise. We hope to return again in the future.

Cozy Cabin

The property is just as depicted. Clean cozy cabin with great amenities for a family. The views were amazing, the property was tranquil, and the cabin was a perfect for a family get away. We LOVED the fact that we got a little taste of winter and spring during our visit. The wild life around the area was an amazing bonus. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Sagle lakeside house

The home and scenery were spectacular. Ours was a winter visit, but it's obvious the place is amazing in summer. The log home was cozy. Perfect for us 4. The drive to Schweizer for skiing was about 45 minutes. We greatly enjoyed our visit to this beautiful area.

Great location, view and open floor plan

The house served our purposes well and I was happy overall. We only left for a few hours on one of our three days there. One thing I would recommend is to bring certain items with you that you might need; I never found a vegetable peeler and the lighters didn't work to start a fire. Thankfully the knives were sharp so I made do and one person had a lighter we used. The upstairs bed was sunken in at the foot of the bed. I slept on that side since I am shorter than my husband; again I made it work. The only other thing I would recommend is that the kitchen pans, cookie sheets, etc. be reorganized. I was constantly searching for items and after I would give up and move on, I would find what I needed later on. It just seemed like items were spread out all over the kitchen and since I cooked every meal there it was a time waster. We would definitely stay again, would just bring certain items with us. Most previous complaints were with internet issues and we had no problems at all so that was nice!
