This pet-friendly two bedroom/two bathroom home is designed for comfort and relaxation, with an open floorplan, cozy fireplace and expansive deck ideal for sunset viewing. Enjoy panoramic vistas of the ocean from the living area, bedrooms and the entire length of the deck!

When you enter this home, you are immediately welcomed into the open-concept living area. Unwind and relax while taking in the majestic, ocean scenery through the large, picture windows or wander onto the deck to watch the sun settle on the horizon. You will find both bedrooms downstairs as well as a full bathroom. You can access the lower deck from both bedrooms-- enjoy a cup of coffee or tea in the morning with an incredible view. We also invite your fur babies, we accept dogs! Pet friendly AND ocean views? Can't beat it!

This home offers tranquility while being just moments away from Cambria’s charming downtown, renowned for its galleries, restaurants and local shops. Offering stunning, ocean views that will leave you breathless, this rental truly makes for the most memorable getaway!

When you're ready to venture out and explore the beautiful Central Coast you will have many options close by. Hearst Castle and Hearst Winery, perched above the San Simeon Cove, are a short drive up the coast, and the famed Paso Robles wine country is a quick drive east. Charming San Luis Obispo is a 45-minute drive south and the Big Sur Coast is at your doorstep heading north. Cambria is the perfect starting off point for countless adventures.

Amazing ocean views and beautiful sunsets off the deck

The location of the beautiful home in Cambria was complete with ocean views from the deck and amazing sunsets while barbecuing! I would rate the decks a 20 out of 10! Perfect for morning coffee, reading a book from their incredible library, or sharing a meal watching the sunset! The home had big windows and while inside you felt like you were outside too!! We did not mind the beautiful drive to Cal Poly for our son’s graduation! Hearing the ocean and feeling the ocean breeze is one of my other favorite memories as well as exploring the little town and visiting the ocean! I hope to return again very soon!!! The central coast is paradise!!! Not as much traffic as So Cal or San Fran and the perfect stop if visiting busy cities!

Property description was not acccurate

While the house is beautiful, it does NOT have a charger in the garage. It has a plug for a charger. But no one carries around a charging cable and without one you can't charge. We arrived at the residence with 24 miles on our Tesla and the closest supercharger was 30+ miles away in Paso Robles. We ended up going to a motel in town to charge for 4 hours at Chargepoint to get enough charge to get to a supercharger. In addition to this annoyance, the house was a bit dirty with animal hair, etc. Also it did not stock any type of amenity like coffee, shampoo, etc. The bathrooms had small hotel type soaps. Lastly the property management office asked us to come by and "sign a contract" but only had limited office hours, which, between having to charge and our tours scheduled at Hearst Castle, means we couldn't make it. But not sure why we'd have to again sign something? For the price we paid we expected more.

Nice and quiet with great views

Nice enough but a few problems. 1. No sugar in house. 2. Both bedrooms had sliding doors with no shades or curtains, full moon and early morning sun. 3. Bedrooms shared one bath, the other bathroom is upstairs. 4. There are frying pans that don’t work on the induction cooktop. Should not be in the house, they are useless. Super quiet and nice views a plus. And close to town. Great walk in Fiscalini Ranch just north.

Beautiful ocean views!

We truly enjoyed our stay, the house has stunning ocean views - beautiful sunrises & sunsets from almost every room in the house. My recommendation is to the cleaning team: pls pay attention to the windows; my husband had to clear many spider webs from the dinning and kitchen windows.

Beautiful views

This house undeniably has beautiful views. We unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy much of them since there was a massive rain storm. There is some maintenance needed (windows missing screens, windows on the deck that don’t lock, windows that leak water during rain storms, window blinds that won’t retract), but the house was comfortable. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, and cutlery. Bathrooms were nice with good showers.

Wonderful ocean view

Love the house and location! You really can see the ocean from every room in the house. Although the AC isn't powerful enough to cool down the living room and loaf areas, we found that the ocean breeze works magic if the windows are open. However, during our stay we couldn't find shampoo in any of the showers. Not sure if it doesn't come with the reservation or it was forgotten, but it would be nice if it were included since this is the only place that we have stayed at before that doesn't provide shampoo. Additionally, be aware that there is an extra 3.5% charge for the balance of the booking (about 2/3 of the total payment) if you want to pay by credit card, which wasn't mentioned on VRBO before we made the reservation. Nevertheless, we had a great stay in this clean and comfy house and would recommend it if you travel to the area.

Awesome and peaceful house

We had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at this wonderful House. The house was located in a beautiful neighborhood in Cambria. Quiet, safe, peace, and charming neighborhood. The house has amazing ocean views from all 3 stories. We had 4 guests + our pups and we all had plenty of room to relax. We watched the sunsets, and walked the charming neighborhood to the beach. The house was clean and well stocked. Big bathrooms and comfy beds. Would love to come back! Great home! Great location!

You can even hear the waves

It really does have fabulous ocean views. Not only from the deck, where there is a full 180 degree view, but also from every single room in the house. You can do the dishes while watching the waves. Even though the house isn't that close to the water, given its location up the hill, you can hear the waves while sitting on the deck, or falling asleep. The house is well sized for 4 people, but probably would be tight for 6. The deck and dining room table comfortably sit 4, but not more. The appliances are very dated, but we grilled so it was fine. Note there is 1 bathroom upstairs on the main living area, and only 1 bathroom downstairs where the 2 bedrooms are located - so you'll be sharing a bathroom on that floor. Check in & out process is a bit of a pain. Who wants to have to go into town to pick up and drop off a key in an age of electronic keycodes?

Great Cambria location

We really enjoyed our time in Cambria at this house. We loved the feel of the neighborhood and making sunsets the highlight of our day. Spectacular sunsets, beautiful vistas, we walked to a park on the water below the house, very close to great hikes and tide pools and beaches. The place is as described, beds are a bit tired but we wouldn't trade our experience.

Amazing views

This house is amazing and all the 5 star reviews are correct. The view from all the balconies is incredible and the pictures do not do it justice. The house itself is lovely and very well stocked with everything you could need. The area is very quiet and it is an easy walk to the sea to watch the sea otters etc. Deers stroll around the neighborhood which was lovely to see. We would definetely stay at this property again and feel so lucky that we managed to book it for labor day weekend.

The Most Amazing Views and Location

I had high expectations for the property...and I was still blown away by the views, the fresh air, the sound of the surf below, even the sound of distant sea lions. This is the perfect location to feel above and away from it all...which feels very safe in these Covid times. I can't say enough about the property or my week there. Quick 5 minute drive into main part of town. Easy walk to shoreline (down hill and back up, so bring good walking shoes) and walking trails of the preserve. The house is expensive, but worth it.

Amazing 180 degree ocean view

I never visited downtown Cambria because I was so comfortable at this home. Quiet, tranquil, peaceful plus the most gorgeous ocean view. An A plus rating in my book!
