"Had an emergency and had to be admitted to hospital, messaged the hotel to explain and asked if they could kindly move the stay date an extra 24 hours, no cancellation...no empathy, took the money and cancelled the booking....if that's the kind of hotel that they are, enjoy the money, I'm not that desperate....karma will find a way to return the favour ...so the rating that I would give them is.... Really there are no minuses"

"Quando arrivi quasi di notte e trovi un sorriso, un buon piatto per cenare nonostante la cucina fosse già chiusa, un buon letto per dormire, tanto silenzio ed una buona colazione, il tutto ad un prezzo comunque ancora sostenibile visto cosa c’è in giro oggi in tariffe, puoi solo che essere soddisfatto. "Nice classic hotel very close to the Rome - Pescara highway. On the edge of Popoli a great old town with good restaurants a river running through. The restaurant and hotel caters to travelers and truck drivers and was great for what I needed. "

"La camera era piccola ma con tutto il necessario. Ha un terrazzo grande su una vista meravigliosa sulle montagne e tutta la vallata a 180°. Purtroppo l'albergo è molto vecchio. Sarebbe da ristrutturare completamente e cambiare il mobilio. Le finestre delle camere invece, sono recenti e ad una grande tenuta. Noi siamo stati bene. Chieti è una bella cittadina ."

"Very nice location, great view from our enormous balcony, just fantastic. Access was a bit difficult as Google Maps didn't exactly take us to the right spot. Communication with the host was delayed but thankfully a neighbour nearby helped us out. A hint to all hosts, make communications a high priority. Guests and travellers do not know there way around and they need all the help they can get. We would stay there again."

"Rooms clean but old. Mattresses were sinking. No privacy you can ear people talk next door. Staff no smile, no hello not very welcoming. You walk in and they keep their head down. As for the breakfast, coffee horrible, pastries were dried and old from a few days. Bathroom a person barely fits in. The floor in the elevator feels as if you’re gonna go through also sinking in. I don’t recommend."

"It's a good hotel to stop overnight if you are on the road. There's not much around it, and getting to places (e.g. restaurants) requires a car. But the property is clean and beds were comfortable."
