This beautiful newly remodeled beachfront condo has everything you need to enjoy your vacation on Ambergris Caye! Begin each morning by watching the sunrise over the Caribbean Sea from the beachfront veranda, and spend your days kayaking from the shared dock, swimming in the communal seaside pool, and relaxing in your air-conditioned living space. Cook your favorite meals in the kitchen, enjoy them in the dining area, and open the glass doors to let in the fragrant breezes and sounds of the sea!

This condo is part of Blue Water Beach Villas, a beachfront property that sits 6 miles north from the local airport in a tranquil part of the island. You'll be just a few steps from the sand, the sea, and the dock, and a few minutes from a couple of restaurants, bars, and a spa. You'll also find several scuba diving centers in the area, with whom our concierge can organize fishing, snorkeling, and scuba trips to the barrier reef. Venture a bit further and you'll be on the sands of Secret Beach after driving five miles, while San Pedro is only six miles away.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.

Perfectly located for us, further away from the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, and yet close enough to any convenience we might have needed (provided you do have a golf cart to go around). The grounds were really nice, with luscious vegetation, and did well to create a sense of isolation from other houses/resorts nearby. One must know that San Pedro is stuck with an algae problem (sargassum) that did affect us during our stay. They come in huge patches and litter the beach, and they start to smell as they decompose. This is a larger environmental problem though, not associated with the property. The pool was a great bonus that we enjoyed multiple times (especially since bathing in the ocean was made harder due to the sargassum). The unit itself was nice, but could have used a little more TLC (mostly regarding cleanliness). Some of the property's equipment is getting old (broken beach chairs for example) and would require attention. I know the salty environment is tough on furniture. Overall, a great experience. We would always enjoy coming back "home" to sit in our chairs on the porch and watch the wind in the palm trees and the movement of the ocean.

Everything was as it was advertised! Great location away from the noise of the city. Loved the cabana at the end of the dock. Small pool that was private. Comfy bed. Plenty of space for a couple or a solo traveler. Clean. Ample kitchen and supplies. I liked having snorkel gear available for use, nice touch! One caveat, I it is a considerable 30-45 minute golf cart drive from the ferry or main San Pedro so grab your groceries before heading that way. There is a quaint restaurant located 2 driveways from the condo. Food was delicious.

Exactly what we were looking for...

The unit was everything advertised in the photos, and even better in person. Great location - far enough away from town to be quiet and chill, but there are still plenty of restaurants and groceries within a short ride on the golf cart. The dock looks new, the pool is pleasant, and the grounds are well kept. We might be back!

Security and health issues

The sliding glass door did not lock. We had no way to secure the unit when we left. While we where at the unit we had an awful gas smell. Horrible headache and nausea accompanied this smell. When reported we were told there was nothing they could do about the gas smell. That day they started digging up septic and well area. We checked out that morning! The expense we incurred trying to find another hotel last minute for the rest of our trip was outrageous. I would not recommend this place to stay.

Fantastic Place and Location!

Our stay here was fantastic and all that we had hoped for! The location was perfect and offered the chance to relax by the pool, on the dock, and along the waterfront. The condo walks right out to the pool and you can take in the ocean views either in the pool or on the back patio. An easy 10-15-minute golf cart ride took us to Secret Beach and a short walk to Portofino restaurant offered one of the best dinners we've had. Nothing like the Caribbean and this Ambergis Caye location is one we will definitely return to with our family. Ana the property manager was great, offered great advice, and was very responsive to any questions. Everything was exactly as described when we got there. Great place and would highly recommend!
