Located 3.1 miles south of town La Gran Casa Azul was built as a vacation house for one of San Pedro's most prominent families. Enjoy a semi-private beach, pool, and dock for swimming and fishing. We've got paddle board, bikes and a kayak for you to explore the island and Caribbean Sea. The bedrooms are air conditioned for your comfort. This is the perfect place for you to do as much or as little as you want while on vacation in beautiful Belize! Your own dock to fish and get picked up for your tours

Breaking it down

I’m extremely detailed cause I appreciate massive details so here we go. I loved the location, was out of the hustle and bustle and felt isolated and quiet was perfect place to pull away from reality. The pool and property is kept clean and nice. It’s a 3rd world country so I try to keep that in mind during my review but the amount of bugs and lizards that where inside the house terrified me. The beds where very uncomfortable. AC only in the bedrooms and the master one I felt like barley got under 78 whole time we where there (8days). One night it stormed very bad and the bedroom my kids where sleeping in filled with water extremely quick and we where not provided any sort of compensation for the inconvenience of having to spend half our night moving our sleeping kids, soaping up the flooding room with all our towels or trying to calm our kids because we had not even one flashlight. The house manager is responsive and nice . He makes all arrangements to try to make everything as smooth as possible and was very informative!

Amazing outdoor space

The location and backyard of this house are amazing. Great pool, views and your own dock. The property manager Jason was fantastic - easy to communicate with and helped set up excursions, golf cart rental and dinners. The inside of the house needs a little love - new couches/mattresses and more glassware and serving pieces. Overall we enjoyed our stay in Casa Azul!

Unbelizable House

I really can’t say enough about this house the property and the fantastic service provided by the on site house manage Jason. It was superb. We were assisted with tours, water taxi tickets and transportation from the airport. The house itself is on the south side of the island. Just a short cart ride from town. The pier was much loved where my husband caught a Barracuda. The pool was cherished by all. We had a great time and hoping to be back again in the future.

Most serene beachfront house

We were all overly impressed with our house & Jason & Emma, the caretakers. The pictures on VRBO were exactly as the property looked. We did many day excursions & were happy to come home to a serene beach! Would definitely recommend this property for its peacefulness & cleanliness. Jason & Emma were awesome, they answered any questions we had with quick responses.

Perfect place for a warm getaway!

Had a great experience staying at La Gran Casa Azul! The neighborhood is very quiet and nicely removed from noise and traffic while still just 10 minutes cart ride from downtown. The house and grounds are just as advertised and the caretakers Jason and Emma were super nice and helpful. They had a golf cart ready and waiting for us, recommended restaurants, stores, and tours and even did a little grocery shopping for us before we got there. The pool area is quite nice and clean, water was the perfect temp. Having the big pier out front made it easy for us to be picked up for scuba, snorkeling and Maya ruins trips, plus it was great for hanging out in the shade in their hammocks. We used the paddle boards and kayak right out front in the ocean to explore the shoreline. One week was not enough time!

Great Place for our Reunion

What a great property! Spacious house, large infinity pool, serene and right on the water. The property was ideal for our friend reunion giving us all the space we needed. And you can’t beat the excellent property management with Jason and Emma taking such great care of our group. We would all most definitely stay again.

We'll be back

The house was fantastic! You have the option of which floor and/or the entire house so it's great for any and all group sizes. AC in the bedrooms makes sleeping, especially post sunburn, a breeze. There is pretty much everything you need for downtime: lounge chairs, paddle boards, a kayak, bikes, cornhole. There was never a dull moment while we were there. A week went by way to fast. Plus, having your private dock makes sea excursions a breeze! As long as your captain is willing to work with you, private pick-ups are extremely convenient. The property manager was more than helpful. We never felt as if we couldn't ask for help if we needed it. If there was an issue, it was fixed in a timely manner!

Beautiful Private Beach Stay

We escaped for four days to this remote strip and the property could not have been better. The host was outstanding. We have already recommended to friends who saw the trip documented online. We will be back.
