Over looking San Mateo, San Francisco Bay Area skyline, newly renovated contemporary home design, hardwood floor, smart TVs, patio and summer kitchen. 15 min to San Francisco airport, 25 min to downtown San Francisco, close to Burlingame, Redwood City, Half Moon Bay, Palo Alto, Mountain View and San Jose. One mile from Caltrain train station that goes up and down Silicon Valley (San Francisco to San Jose), 1 mile to Hillsdale mall. Nice access to Napa Valley and Sonoma wine country.

Amazing views!

The best feature of this house is the views! We watched the July 4th fireworks from the comfort of the living room and loved the views of the San Francisco skyline. Unfortunately, we were there during an unusual heatwave. The upstairs air conditioning is minimal and we were uncomfortably warm. There weren't any ceiling fans. It also seemed odd that there weren't any curtains or shades in the primary bathroom upstairs. The backyard is nice but we couldn't find a way to light the gas grill.

Stunning views, backyard!

We loved staying at this house. It has all the amenities you would expect from a rental property, and the owners are incredibly patient and accommodating. The backyard is to die for, as are the views. It was very comfortable for me and my family, and we look forward to staying again.

Great location and great house

This is a wonderful house set in the hills above San Francisco bay with fantastic views. Property is upgraded and includes excellent amenities, off-street parking, and highly functional back patio. We have stayed here multiple times and always enjoy it. An excellent value for the SF Bay Area.

Great view, Great Location

We enjoyed our stay at Lee's home. Their home is at the top a hill and there is an exceptional view of the bay. Lee was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to our questions. Really good place and would recommend!

Great place

This was an absolutely perfect location for visiting San Francisco. We were out of the busy congested traffic area in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy access to San Francisco. We didn’t do any cooking so I can’t comment on the kitchen supplies, but the unit was very clean and comfortable with great views of the city. Communication with the owner was easy and efficient. This is a definite five star for me.

Great family home

We truly enjoyed our stay here! It was perfect for our family, the home was spacious and comfortable. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood, the master bathtub and shower were amazing, the back patio was my favorite place to hang out it was so peaceful. The views from every room in the house were gorgeous!

great place for our family to stay

Initially, I booked this house because of its proximity to our family that we were visiting. We would often walk there, and the hills provided some great exercise. The neighborhood was quiet. I was also grateful, though, for how close shopping was, and the entrance hwy 92 was also very close. We had all that we needed for a family of five. Thank you!

A few things need fixing

First, thank you for allowing us to stay at your property. The front steps railing has come loose at the bottom closest to the road. All of the windows, but esp. the window with the fantastic view of the city NEEDS CLEANING, inside and esp. outside. The water pressure is HORRIBLE! I'm not sure if this is something you can fix or if it's just that way for the neighborhood. The beds are Way, WAY too low!!!!!! The bedding is old and the mattress all need to be replaced. But the worst thing was the pillows. You only had 1 pillow per person and they were very, VERY flat!

Great views

As others have written, the views are great in a couple of different directions. The living area is roomy and the neighborhood is quiet. We had no trouble checking in, and while the owners were out of the country, they responded to our questions promptly, even with the time difference. Trader Joe's and Whole Foods are a short drive away. If you like getting a cardio workout by walking uphill - which we do - then this is the place for you!

Rolling Hills- San Mateo

House was spacious and very clean. Neighborhood is quite and friendly. Perfect place to stay when costing the Bay Area. Location is central. Lee and Rachel are 5 star host making everything seamless for checking to checkout. Communication was awesome. Looking forward to staying again the next time we’re in town.

Perfect Place

Loved this property and had a great stay. It's elegant but comfortable with views even better than advertised out the living room picture window. There was a large, comfortable sectional in the living room where we spent time when not enjoying the fabulous back patio. It's conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Hope to stay again!

Pleasant stay with amazing view

My family had a pleasant stay. The property has an amazing view and you can watch the planes land at SFO. The internet/WiFi was very good. Plenty of parking in the driveway and street. Great little park with playground nearby. The property needs more towels for families staying a week. One set to wash while another set is available to use per bathroom. Also, property needs more than 4 wine glasses. The wine fridge was nice to store bottles after our trip to Napa. The deadbolt on the front door doesn’t turn all the way into the lock position. But overall we felt safe in the house and neighborhood. Property has plenty of dishes and silverware but was disorganized. Found the steak knives in a box located in the broom closet. There was no aluminum foil and no Saran Wrap in the kitchen. The property description advertises a k-cup coffee maker but it was not there. We recommend a vacuum so it is easier for guests to sweep up crumbs off the beautiful hardwood floors. We recommend this property! Thanks.

Beautiful home with great view and interior has been beautifully restored.

This home was exactly as represented. We had a wonderful time, and the house was a great gathering place for our friends and relatives who came to the Bay area for our daughter's wedding.

Good place to stay

We rented this house for my brother and his family when they were visiting from overseas (we live a couple blocks away). The house was really comfortable and had everything they needed. I had to email the owners a couple times before the stay and they were always very responsive and helpful.

Lovely house, good location and nice views

This is a pretty house at a good location. It was very clean, just like you would expect as a guest. Our 4 day stay was comfortable. We had few hiccups( like no working lock in master bathroom and wobbling toilet seat on main bath) which we shared with owner who responded immediately and took the feedback sportingly! Home away from Home!

Great property for 3 couples or a family. We were in town for a family wedding & size & was great.

We loved the view from all the rooms and had fun putting and hanging out in the backyard. The kitchen had all the utensils we needed and we felt right at home. Lee responded quickly to our email. An excellent experience and we would definitely rent this home again.
