  • The Tourmaline House es la escapada elegante y relajante que has estado buscando. Es una casa real, con un patio trasero, ubicada en Pacific Beach a poca distancia para explorar la playa, la bahía, las tiendas y los restaurantes sin la necesidad de un automóvil. No tenemos aire acondicionado. Las fotos en el listado se tomaron en 2018.

    Con muebles de alta calidad, un retiro privado en el patio trasero y comodidades como bicicletas, Wi-Fi, artículos para bebés y artículos de playa, todo incluido: puede relajarse en la privacidad que solo puede tener un verdadero hogar.

    Podemos acomodar hasta 8 invitados y 2 perros en nuestra casa. Toda la casa es accesible para sillas de ruedas, y hemos tenido varios invitados discapacitados hasta la fecha.

    La Master Suite es un lujoso refugio con una cama King size, dos armarios, televisión por cable y un amplio baño con acabados en travertino y azulejos de vidrio. Un tocador con lavamanos doble separa la espaciosa ducha a la derecha del inodoro cerrado a la izquierda. Hay suficiente espacio frente a la cama para agregar un paquete y jugar y caminar fácilmente.
    El dormitorio Queen está al lado de la Master Suite y tiene capacidad para 2 en una cama queen.
    El dormitorio infantil tiene capacidad para 4 personas en 2 literas dobles sobre literas.
    Un gran baño completo en el pasillo tiene un área de vestidor separada con un tocador de doble lavabo y un verdadero jacuzzi.

    Disfrute de acceso completo a una cocina surtida, patio cubierto de césped con barbacoa, estacionamiento para 2 autos, WIFI, centro de entretenimiento en la sala de estar con cable, reproductor de blue ray y sonido envolvente. Se incluye equipo de playa: sillas, sombrilla, tablas de surf, refrigerador más 2 bicicletas, vagón de playa y scooter. También tenemos una cuna portátil y una silla para bebés.

    La casa se encuentra a solo 2 cuadras de la playa (Tourmaline Surf Park), a 5 minutos a pie. Esta parte de la playa es el extremo norte de Pacific Beach, un paraíso local, ya que las multitudes de turistas se concentran más al sur.
    A 3 minutos a pie de la casa encontrará Turquoise St, con una tienda de comestibles y numerosas tiendas y restaurantes. También estará igualmente cerca de lindos cafés y restaurantes en Cass St. Se puede acceder fácilmente en bicicleta al paseo marítimo de la playa y Garnet Avenue, el centro de la vida nocturna de la playa.

My family and I had a great time staying here. We loved the location, the amount of space and that it was pet friendly. Our host was responsive and prompt with any questions we had prior to check in. I recommend staying here.

the location is great, its a five minute or less walk to the beach, or a grocery store or any place you want to eat on or off Mission. We stayed for a week with two of my daughters, one son in law and two grandkids and it was well set up, very roomy even when we were all in house, nice little grass backyard. We love SD and visit as often as we can and we'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is very comfortable, and had everything we needed. The location is the best — so close to the ocean. We loved spending time nearby and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Great location and totally workable home base for a Pacific Beach vacation. Garage with some beach stuff (umbrellas, boards) was a plus. Rooms were totally comfortable. Given how expensive it was, it was a little underwhelming but I guess you're really paying for location. Kitchen also left a little to be desired but we made it work.

Great beach location

Nice house with a 10 minute walk to beach. Room enough for 3 adults and 3 children. Very comfortable and clean. Great location for beach, Belmont Park, Zoo, Old Town, Downtown. Close to shops and restaurants, all within walking distance. Would stay again.

Perfect getaway with great location

The location was perfect! The house was comfy, clean, and a nice completely fenced in yard for our yorkie. The owner was so nice and accommodating. We walked to the beach, town, and restaurants. We uber'd from there easily as well.

Great place to stay

We enjoyed this 3 bedroom house with fenced in backyard. Plenty of room for family that visited for a cookout. A few used the bikes that were provided as well as the wagon to go to the beach with a young child. The location was convenient to walk to coffee shops and breakfast and the beach. I will look to stay at this location again.

A great stay!

We spent seven weeks in this comfortable and friendly house. It was nicely clean on arrival, well maintained and exactly right for our winter getaway from the north! Our two little dogs were happy in the back yard. The owner was very responsive when needed.

Family holiday

We stayed for four nights. House is nice and clean. It seems to be close to everything. Our farthest drive was 20 minutes. Back yard was nice for the dogs. Would and probably will stay again.

Great house and awesome location!

Property was fantastic! Great location just blocks from Tourmaline Beach, restaurants and bars. House was very well appointed with everything that we needed for a 5 week stay. Backyard was great! Our host Juliana was great communicating with us and providing neighborhood recommendations. We would love to stay at this property again!!

Close to everything

We enjoyed our stay at the tourmaline house. The house was clean, comfortable and homey. The young kids (21/2 year old twins) loved the backyard and eating outside. There were wagons in the garage that they rode in to the beach which is a very walkable distance. This house was close to everything. The location is great.

Taking our German Shepherds to Pacific Beach

Wonderful location. Great backyard for our two German Shepherds; All grass, no poison plants for dogs. One block from the beach. Never took the car out of the garage. Great restaurants, grocery store, beach, all within walking distance. We particularly enjoyed Pastiamos, The Fig Tree and The Hideaway.

Nice stay in prime location

The location is great. Very close to beach access. While on a main street, it is a bit down from the really busy part of Mission Blvd. The house has everything needed in the kitchen. Backyard was nice to have for the dogs. Owner was responsive when issues arose.

Great little house

All you need in a great location. An actual stand-alone house with closed-off backyard - great for our pups. A little off location, so it's quiet, but not far off so that bars, restaurants, stores, beach are all in walkable distance (4-20 mins). And the fastest, nicest responding owner we ever had. Thanks a lot Juliana ;-)

Perfect spot!

I live a few blocks away and family came to visit, knowing the area I can say that this is a prime spot! Away from the noise but close enough to walk anywhere you need. The proximity to the beach was great and more of a local beach rather than next to the pier with tourists. The space was comfy and perfect and we loved the backyard. Great space to play and hangout. Would definitely stay here again and the host was very responsive to questions and had wagons, beach toys, etc.

We enjoyed our stay at Tourmaline House. We got off to a rocky start because when we arrived I didn't realized that our Host had sent me an email with instructions about wfi. I thought the information would be on the VRBO site. We solved the issue with the help of VRBO and proceeded to have a lovely time. The home was clean, well stocked and a great location close to restaurants and the beach. The master bed was very comfortable and we had lots of towels. We encountered some issues with accessibility which were solved by the Host who asked her staff to make the back fence accessible. When I had a problem with the front door code, the Host came to my rescue and gave me a key which I really appreciated.
