Private, quiet and one mile from the beach with A/C!

This property is very spacious and bright with natural light. Located in Pacific Beach, this 1 bedroom, 1 bath guest house comes with its own entrance and parking space (for 1 vehicle). 
This open layout is complete with a full-size kitchen, fully stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal. Enjoy lunch at the dining table with seating for 4 people (3 adults max) or relax on the leather couch that also opens up to be a queen size bed. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and the bathroom has a large walk-in shower.  There are ceiling fans in both rooms and with all the windows open you can really enjoy the summer breeze on those warm summer nights. This house does have an a/c unit in the main living space (living room/kitchen). There is no a/c in the bedroom.

This property is located in a very family friendly, QUIET neighborhood, close to the 5 freeway and just a few blocks from the action of the Pacific Beach nightlife. You are close to Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Mission Bay and of course the beach!

Please Note: Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding noise that disturbs neighbors, over occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before booking with Windansea Vacation Rentals.

Important: Before you arrive, you will be asked to complete guest verification through third-party provider Truvi. This is done to ensure we are keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations as well as providing both our guests and our properties with extra protection. Truvi will contact you via email and/or text to complete the verification. Please do so prior to arriving at the property to enable a quick and easy check-in process.

The unit was clean and tidy and located in a quaint and quiet neighborhood. The only downfall of our stay was that there was no AC unit in the bedroom; however, with the windows cracked at night and the fan in the bedroom on we were able to sleep comfortably.

Great location in PB, very nice modern place in a quiet neighborhood that was exactly as advertised. Host was very thorough and gave clear directions for no hassle check in / out. On site parking was off the streets and a huge plus. Very reasonable rate for what is offered here made it overall a great experience!

This place is exactly as advertised! It’s a simple, cute, safe, comfy space to crash in while visiting the Pacific Beach/San Diego area. It was in a wonderful neighborhood, very quiet. We were able to walk to a few spots to eat. You could walk to the beach, we had our 5 month old and it was pretty hot so we didn’t. Very close drive though. The beach towels and beach chairs were a welcome surprise. So nice to have since we flew in from PA. It was very clean. Having a full size fridge was very nice, we stocked drinks and snacks. The mattress was meh.. not super comfy, but it was fine. lol. The parking spot was wonderful. I’d 100% stay here again! This was our first vacation as a family of three and staying here certainly made it much easier. While in town, we went to a Padres game. We visited the Birch aquarium and San Diego Zoo. Highly recommend Hodads for a burger. Mitch’s for seafood. And Konita’s for French toast or a breakfast burrito. lol. Overall, 10/10 stay. Thanks for the opportunity!

Very nice little place! Perfect for 2, has all the kitchen amenities you'd need and everything is in good, clean condition. Close enough to the beach to get a cheap Uber over, and if you're willing to walk there's plenty of stuff nearby as well. Excellent air conditioning unit.

Nice and quiet. Walk to mission bay. Sofa in living becomes second bed. Bedding supplied in drawers under bed. Nice that the property provides beach towels and beach chairs. Adequate amount of hangers. AC and ceiling fans made the stay comfortable. Property has 16 steps to above garage apt. We heard nothing from garage. The only issue we had was that someone did not do their dishes very well. We pulled several dirty cups and plates from cupboards. No dishwasher. This apt has full size fridge, electric stove and very nice shower. Coffee maker is 4 cups. Better Buzz coffee nearby.

Good. Wished for access to Roku to add more apps. Since you wanted us to separate waste and recycles I wish there were more waste buckets. A extra blanket for the couch would be nice. Loved the A/C . Loved the bright light but wish I could darken the bed room.

Quiet & convenient

Great place for a couple, walkable to groceries and restaurants but in a nice quiet neighborhood. Having a parking space was a bonus! Everything was very clean and seemed brand new. We will definitely stay here again when we are in town visiting or daughter.

Great place in a nice quiet neighborhood 1.7 miles from beach

We were comfortable there and loved the light and the quiet and it's super-clean. TV had access to all the streaming platforms, yay. Kitchen very well-stocked with tools, a big plus for me. Gave 4 stars only because there are some very easy additions that would make it much more comfortable, small things that others have mentioned in their reviews in previous year(s) that make a big difference for comfort; especially for a longer stay. Darker shades on the windows. Night stands on both sides of the bed. A mirror somewhere else besides the bathroom. A piece of furniture with drawers so you're not living out of your suitcase. And last but definitely not least, the simplest fix of all, a few hooks or another towel bar in the bathroom! A place to hang jackets by the front door would be nice too. I'm always amazed that few VRBO's recognize how important these little things are. Everything else was great. It is 1.7 miles to the beach, so most people need a bike or car.

Perfect Little Getaway!

We loved this property. The location is perfect! It’s less than a mile away from our favorite Pho restaurant and Trader Joe’s. Having a private parking spot was a great bonus. Less than 5 miles from La Jolla, which we always go for a sunset stroll. East drive to Coronado, we always take a day to bike the island and walk the beach. Very quiet neighborhood, we never heard the planes but could see them. Felt very safe and would definitely stay again! The communication was great and check in instruction were easy to follow. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies needed to cook if wanting to do so. Everything was exactly as described!

Quiet, comfy & clean w/nice views!

We had a lovely stay at Megan’s place, just as advertised, everything felt new and clean. Being perched on the top of a quiet garage with lots of nicely placed windows it offers pleasing views of the surrounding area and lots of light. We liked being close to the action in PB, without the hubub. The private parking space felt luxurious too. Will definitely stay here again if we have the chance!

Clean & comfy

Property was as described, clean and fairly new. Does have a/c, though it mostly cools the living room/kitchen area, doesn’t really reach the bedroom, however there’s a good ceiling fan above the bed. Bathroom is roomy, big shower, not much water pressure, but nice and clean. There’s also nice smelling, full sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and a blow dryer. Also had 2 beach chairs, beach towels, and sunscreen. Really appreciated the Britta water filter chilling in the fridge. Walkable location to restaurants, coffee, and incidentals. Centrally located between Mission Bay, and LaJolla. Easy check-in and out. Would definitely recommend, and stay here again.

Great quiet location

We loved the location as we were looking for something close to our daughters place and this was 5 min away. We also loved how quiet it was a night and a bonus was we got to see the Sea World fireworks from the little side deck. A few things to consider, another chair or two in the living room, a mirror somewhere in the house other than the bathroom mirror and an additional bedside table. For the kitchen just add a tea kettle so those that don't drink coffee can use it to get hot water. Other than that all was great!
