"Entire" Luxury Beach Home Steps from Mission Beach with Hot Tub -Not a Condo!

This is one of the newest homes in Mission Beach. Fresh and inviting, comfortable and well suited for all ages. Equipped with elevator for convenience; perfect for families. This home is "detached" private 2800 square feet which gives every room a comfortable space and privacy. EVERY room has it's own FULL bathroom. 6 total bathrooms in the home. Not your typical tight rental. 6-7 person out door hot tub, large outdoor BBQ, fire pit!

Beds include: 4 bedrooms with queen beds
1 bedroom with a bunk bed with 2 double mattresses and trundle twin bed with full mattress (sleeps 5)

A downstairs sleeper sofa that converts to queen.
This totals 7 queen and 1 full as primary accommodations.

In addition, in a pinch there is a queen air mattress, a double futon that each sleep 2, and an upstairs comfy couch that can sleep 1.

Great for Flexcations or working away from home! Desk area ready for your laptop with extra monitor ready to use as extended desktop. Fast fiber internet and mesh WiFi. Don't work so much you forget to enjoy the beach and have fun, though!

This home has a private 2 car garage that is a side-by-side "not tandem" (tandem garages are long garages that block 1 car in). It also has room for a small 3rd car to parallel park along the garage. The garage is 210" wide, 244" long, and 81" high.

1 large refrigerator and mini fridge, downstairs den, sofa, and bar table.

Host was very helpful and house had all the essentials. It got cold at night and the basement had no heat so the temperature dropped into the low 50s for sleeping. Although the beds were comfortable, to sleep 6 people for a retreat in a double bunk bed with a trundle with another full that fills the entire room is way too tight. We didn't come to party at the beach. We were there as a church group and although it claims to have a lot of "beds" for sleeping, I would not consider that satisfactory. The other bedrooms were wonderful as were the bathrooms. The stairs are very steep and all 3 flights are required to get to the kitchen and small family room. So overall it was ok for the money but would not stay here again.

We enjoyed how close to the beach we were. We could easily walk to the beach and near by food. However, it was not very clean. The upper floor smelt like fish the entire time. Several things were challenging to get to work such as blinds and showers. The bathrooms appeared to have mold in the showers. The layout was challenging for smaller children. Overall had a decent stay.

Our family from across the country was very happy here. The house had everything we needed and we cooked everyday there. We used every bedroom, and there was enough bedding for everybody. There was plenty of hot water and towels. Hot tub was great. Host communicated perfectly.

The house, including the kitchen, are spacious and a great place for a beach trip. They stock with beach towels and the hot tub was a hit. In a neighborhood where parking is brutal, having a spacious two-car garage is key. The location was good, but was near a busy street.

The top floor master bath was very nice. The 3 levels was not ideal for carrying things up and down and some of the beds were very uncomfortable. Didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub sadly.

The location of this house is great! Having so many bedrooms with private bathrooms is a plus for families. The house is quiet even though it’s on Mission Blvd. The hot tub was a great addition! The house does have very steep stairs so be careful with young kids and seniors. It does have an elevator which helps. The living space is not very large but the kitchen is very well stocked and clean.

Great location, nice outdoor courtyard and the elevator is a nice option for the 3 story home. I love that each bedroom has an adjoining bathroom. The house offers a lot of fun beach toys, chairs, shade options and a wagon to carry it all to the beach.

Beautiful home and great location for beach access. Close to everything we wanted to do on our vacation. Great for our large family! Floors were dirty due to sand residue and some minor things were broken but host was very responsive and helpful

I was very happy with both the property and the owner. She and I spoke several times before the stay, and she was always fair, accommodating, and easy to work with. While she had a few understandable rules in place to protect her investment, she showed flexibility and was very reasonable as long as communication was clear.One area for improvement would be the cooling system. The home currently relies on individual wall-mounted A/C units, which aren’t sufficient for such a large property. Many rooms don’t retain the cool air well, making it difficult to keep the house comfortable, especially for sleeping. Upgrading to a central A/C system would be a great investment. We also tried opening the windows for airflow, but many didn’t open fully, limiting that option as well.Lastly, while not the owner’s fault, guests should be aware that there are a lot of flies on the patio area. We bought and hung four fly traps along the fencing, which helped, but there were still quite a few around.Overall, the owner was wonderful to work with, and the property has a lot of potential. With some improvements to the cooling system and minor adjustments, it could be an even better stay.

Family Vacation

The property was perfect for our needs. We had 10 adults that stayed in the property, and 2 others that stayed nearby and visited during the day. We loved the location, all the beach items in the shed, the rooms, the grill, the hot tub, the massive garage and alley parking, plenty of tables and chairs in kitchen and courtyard, 2 sets of washer/dryer, and the elevator for heavy luggage. The property is a bit older and it shows, but nothing was a problem. The host was easy to communicate with and work with. This property is great for larger groups.The only nit-picky item that we had was that the fridge and freezer and the floors were a little unclean upon checkin. Nothing major, just small spills in the fridge/freezer that had not been cleaned, and sand everywhere on the floors (it's right by the beach, so there's going to be sand everywhere :D). We easily cleaned these up during our stay, and they didn't detract from our experience.

I loved that our entire party of 16 people could fit inside one home with plenty of rooms and bathrooms. I also loved how close it was to the beach. The downside was there was sand all of over the floor of the entire home when we first got there. It was as if no one cleaned the floor prior to us getting there. I couldn’t find a mop, broom or vacuum cleaner to clean the floor myself. We just ended up wearing shoes around the house. Word of advice, don’t use the stone table in the courtyard. There is a small sign posted to the front door as you leave the house (easy to miss) that says don’t move the table and that it is extremely heavy. One person in our party sat on it and the leg of the bench broke. We now don’t get our deposit back because the owner needs to fix the bench. The table will be out of commission for the next few months, says the owner. So anyone that rents this place after the outdoor table/bench is fixed, just be careful.

Short Stay

Beautiful property that needs some maintenance. The elevator didn’t work, the window in the master suite didn’t close, the drain in the master bath was slow/clogged, the dishwasher wouldn’t turn on. There was so much stuff in the garage we couldn’t get two cars in. The WiFi was spotty such that I didn’t get messages from the host. This was only our second VRBO booking but, I don’t remember such draconian contracts to sign. We only had a couple of days to spend in Mission Beach so we chose this property after getting rejected by a couple of hosts, we should have booked a hotel.

Fantastic beach property

Had a great time with 10 adults and 5 kids, great for doing some of our own cooking, and just a short path straight to a really nice beach. Minutes away from Seaworld and about 15 minutes to the Zoo. There is a quaint amusement park 1 block away. We were able to park 3 cars on property and to more for free nearby! Again, a fantastic time!

Good house and nice location

Overall the properly was great for our needs! Nice location close to the beach and plenty of space for all of our guests. The home is 3 stories and the stairs were pretty steep, so that was a downside. Owner was super responsive and nice to work with. Nice place to stay, would stay here again.

Great Extended Family Trip

The home had plenty of space for us and all five bedrooms had their own full bath. Most windows had power shades; a big plus. Gas stove in kitchen annd gas grill in courtyard were great to cook on. Everything worked well, except the spa/hot tub. We didn’t miss it, though, as there were plenty of other things to do. Easy walk to shops, restaurants, the beach AND the bay. Great location.Hosts were very responsive to inquiries. The elevator was useful for this 3-story home.
