Welcome to Casa Mystery which is centrally located in the heart of San Antonio!

Our stylish 3BR home is in a peaceful cul-de-sac on the northside of San Antonio. Enjoy your home away from home with personal touches throughout. The outdoor covered patio has tons of extras including a dining area, BBQ Grill and an amazing heated swimming pool.

Plenty of entertainment for your family, including a Nintendo Switch, Sonos speaker, Pool Table, board games and Smart TVs with Disney+, Netflix and HBO Max!

Have fun and enjoy Casa Mystery! Be respectful of our neighbors and take care of our home like you would treat your own home, thank you!

Here are some highlights about the main areas of our home:

BEDROOMS:

- The master bedroom features a comfortable king bed with an en-suite bathroom and cozy bedding. Smart TV is also available.

- The second bedroom features a king bed with cozy bedding. Smart TV is also available.

- The third bedroom features twin over twin bunk bed for the little ones. Families with young children will appreciate the availability of a pack n play and portable high chair for kids under 3.

- Dedicated workspace in the master with access to a LAN connection



LIVING AREAS:

- Stay entertained with smart TVs in the living area and bedrooms, equipped with DirecTV Stream for local channels, as well as access to popular streaming services like Netflix and Disney+.

- Stay connected with high-speed 1GB internet available throughout the home via WiFi.

- Gamers will delight in our Nintendo Switch, pre-loaded with exciting games and have a fun-filled game night with our selection of board games.

- Sofa converts over to a queen size sofa bed.

KITCHEN:

- Our kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you need, including pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, and even wine glasses. (We do NOT have a dishwasher)

- Wake up to a fresh cup of coffee using our Keurig Duo Coffee Maker, with k-cups provided and ground coffee available.

- For your convenience, we provide an on-site washer and dryer along with a starter supply of laundry pods.

OUTDOORS AND PARKING:

- During October - May, if you would like to use the pool, it is a $50 per day additional charge for the pool heater, which will be sent separately. Pool is 3 feet in the shallow end and 7 feet in the deep end. POOL IS HEATED with a Heat Pump, it will not heat the pool all the way to 80’s if the outside temperature is below 55. See more information in other details to note.

- Enjoy outdoor cooking with our BBQ grill, which will need charcoal. Please refer to the "Other things to note" section for more details.

- Patio Heater is available on the deck for the fall/winter weather.

- Parking is a breeze with a 2 car garage and additional driveway parking.


PETS:

- We warmly welcome pets weighing under 50 lbs, with a $125 fee per pet and a maximum of 2 pets. If you have larger pets, please reach out to us as additional fees up to $150 per pet may apply.

The house is very nice. Everything matches the description and photos, but is older than what is pictured. This is especially true for the outside deck area where parts of the deck and are old & unstable. Parts of the deck buckle while walking on them. This is difficult to navigate for children & older people who struggle with balance. The pool furniture is accurately pictured, but is aged by the sun & the egg chair had two stripped screws/bolts which made one leg unstable. Other things that could be improved include updating the listing information & the house binder with rules/directions. Things such as the blue tooth speaker for the pool room & pool deck are different than what is in the instructions /binder. The Nintendo Switch is not accessible through the house account, so you have to bring your own games or have your own Nintendo online account. The great things about this house are the spaces, the cleanliness (with the exception of used/old sponges for washing dishes.) & the size of the bedrooms. Please be aware that there is no dishwasher so you are relying on the efforts of the people who stayed before you. The kitchen had all the utensils & tools we needed. We were comfortable in all the beds in every room & it was nice to have separate TVs for some of the bedrooms. Our teens enjoyed the pool which was consistently warm & full of water. A bonus is the pool deck box which has floaties for all ages.Would stay again!Overall an enjoyable & comfortable stay!

Overall the property is very comfortable, easy access to the main freeways/arteries in San Antonio and very conveniently located for us during our stay. The pool was clean and made for a nice weekend break from the chaos of our relocation that brought us to San Antonio. Our host was incredibly responsive and I’m grateful for the flexibility to extend our stay when our closing dates kept changing. The only reason I rated a 4-star instead of a 5 was the fact that the property is a bit rundown and in need of fresh paint on the walls and baseboards as well a serious deep-clean to rid it of lingering pet hair/dander, cobwebs, and to remove the hard water stains in all the shower/baths, sinks and faucets etc. the backyard deck has some very soft planks and the pavers are unstable in places which could be a safety hazard for young children or elderly guests. I was a little annoyed that I spent the whole stay picking up dried pet waste from the yard from previous guests, think I picked up twice as much than what my dogs left, but that’s more of a reflection of bad guests than anything to do with the host…do better Vrbo community! Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and provided us nearly two weeks of stability as a transition between our home in Dallas and our new home in San Antonio that a corporate apartment never could have given us.

Mystery Conference

I was in town for a conference being held down at the RiverCenter. This property was the perfect spot if you don’t want to stay downtown, but want to be able to get around easily. It’s also near the airport so it’s convenient whether you drive or fly. The pool was fantastic and the hosts were excellent communicators—they responded quickly and were willing to address any concerns (no matter how small) we had! I would definitely stay again!

Great Home for a Family

We had a wonderful week staying here. The homes layout is great for a family with kids. Location is great; very close to the airport and an easy drive to downtown San Antonio. Neighborhood was nice and quiet. Only negative was the deck that was in desperate need of repair. Several deck boards were broken upon arrival and my husbands foot went through another board just walking into the house.

Perfect vacation home

Everything about our stay at the house on Mystery was a great fit for our family of 6. Booking was simple, checking in and out was simple and the home exceeded expectations. The neighborhood was older but felt safe and quiet and the home is located at the end of a cul de sac. My husband and I loved going for walks in the mornings. The decor is fun and feels like you are on vacation. My kids ages 9-18 loved the pool table and the pool. The pool was nice and clean, and the patio was a great place to hang out and enjoy the sunshine. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice and roomy and the beds were comfortable. We loved that light switches were labeled and instructions for various working elements of the home were posted nearby. The proximity to the San Antonio airport and other eating establishments, shopping and grocery stores were an added bonus. The owners were great to work with and we loved that they left suggestions for things to do and places to eat nearby. This home was a great home base for us. Thank you for a wonderful stay in San Antonio!

Please read before considering booking here

-the smell of the home is not pleasant & left our luggage coming home smelling horrible. -the amount of homeless people living right outside of the community was alarming & wasn’t at all what we intended for a safe & friendly environment -there was an open window and the screen popped out onto the ground beneath it from a back window of the home that we found after a couple nights staying there & after reaching out to the host for clarification we got no response. -bulky & sharp objects stored on only side of garage u can park on leaving absolutely no room to get in or out of vehicle & an accident waiting to happen -dead and alive cockroaches & an ant infestation in one of the bathrooms -only 1 master remote worked for all 4 tvs. So if you have family/friends you will need the one remote to go back and forth to change channels etc.. -Netflix, Hulu & Nintendo do not work unless you have your own accounts -dogs could gain access under back patio porch leading them under home -when both showers are running at same time there is absolutely no hot water after about 4-5 mins -master shower does not drain properly and you’re left showering in a tub full of water while trying to get clean -air vents were disgusting and needed cleaned -front door was OPENED & person walked into the home b4 our checkout time all while my son was naked & in the middle of getting dressed. I thought someone was breaking in, dogs could’ve ran out of the home or worse could’ve transpired

Wonderful House!

We had 4 adults and one child. We absolutely loved having 2 king size beds for the adults! There were so many places to plug your devices in that made it very convenient to have it close by. Having a smart TV was wonderful to have for adults and children! There were tons of beach towels and toys provided for the pool. There were instructions for everything all around the house and also video instructions on the tablet if needed. It was in the 100’s while we were there and the entire house stayed cool. The host provided her cell so we were able to get in touch her very easily and she responded very quickly. We will definitely stay there again!!

Perfect Spot in SA

Great house, in a perfect location and just as wonderful as the pictures show! We were centrally located to all things SA. We stayed with our two teens who loved the pool. Viviana was very responsive to our questons. Check in and out was a breeze. I recommend this home for your next vist to SA, 10/10!!

Perfect Getaway!

Many thanks to our amazing hosts who were available and responded quickly to texts. This house was amazing! Beds were so comfy and the pool and pool table were enjoyed all three days of our stay. HOME AWAY FROM HOME

I am originally from San Antonio and was coming to visit from Houston and wanted my adult children and their children to stay with me under one roof. The property was very accommodating, as there were 4 adults and 4 children. The bedrooms were very nice and the pull out sofa was great and made it so there was enough room for everyone. The house was equipped with everything we needed and although cold we appreciated the heat lamps as we did sit out there during the day! We utilized the game room ALOT! I would definitely consider this property for future stay.
