Take the time to discover the beautiful Chiemgau region and enjoy relaxing days in our modern vacation apartment with a large panoramic window and a breathtaking view all the way to the Törwang Viewing Chapel. The balcony, bathed in evening sun, and the cozy living area invite you to share quiet moments together that will remain in your memories for a long time.
Our cozy attic apartment (2nd floor) is located in the historic former police station on the outskirts of Grainbach and accommodates 2 people:
° Spacious living/sleeping area with access to the west-facing balcony
° Well-equipped kitchen (stove, refrigerator, fully automatic coffee maker, and much more
° Modern bathroom
° Bed linens, towels, and toiletries are, of course, included
The central yet quiet location allows you to reach many destinations on foot:
Restaurants, a bakery, regional farm shops, the Samerberg natural swimming area, the bike park, and the Hochriesbahn valley station are just a few minutes’ walk away.
Just leave your car behind and enjoy numerous hiking trails, cozy alpine huts, and places to stop for a bite to eat. In winter, the cross-country ski trails start practically right outside the front door.
A special highlight for golf enthusiasts: Just an 8-minute drive away in Patting is Germany’s first reversible golf course, nestled in an impressive mountain setting.

It lies not far from Lake Chiemsee, right between Munich and Salzburg, where you’ll find a wealth of cultural attractions. The Samerberg itself is a destination for those seeking an idyllic retreat who long for peace and nature.Active travelers will also find plenty to enjoy, thanks to the countless hiking and biking trails, the Samerberg Bike Park, the many lakes, the magnificent golf courses, and the cross-country ski trails.
