About this space
This memorable place is anything but ordinary. This unique container home with 2-40 foot shipping containers offset is a comfortable 2 bedroom, 1 bath home with a full kitchen and laundry. Comfortable setting and gorgeous views. Make yourself at home in this stylish unique home away from home. Excited to host you!
1 mile from town or the Island park on the popular Bar Hill, 20 minutes from goldbug hot springs trail head, 45 minutes to Lost trail ski resort, and 1 mile to the hockey rink. Enjoy!
The space
open cohesive living areas and 2 themed bedrooms all with colors and style of that around you from outside in.. 1 mile to town and views to enjoy

the whole house will be accessible.

Other things to note
I currently reside on the property in another home. The siding is not complete and likely will be done during July/August time 2025. There are chickens on the property, that i tend to once a day, so you may see me as well as 1 dog and 1 cat - both not allowed in the container home and both very friendly.

Both homes on the property are for sale by owner, please message me if you are interested.

Cozy with Views

We loved staying at the container house! It was well stocked and our host was so responsive! The space was big enough for our family to have our own space (2 adults, 3 kids) and the views are spectacular!

Container Home : It was great!

We really enjoyed our time. The layout works well, and all the rooms not only flowed well but were what one would expect from a much larger traditional home. Views of the valley and distant mountains were beautiful at sunset and sunrise. And only 1 mile from downtown.

Excellent Host

Host was very responsive and easy to work with and the little house is just as described. I really appreciated being able to get laundry done and have space to relax. There's a nice hot shower, and kitchen had all the items you would need to prepare any food. Super easy checkin process. Just be aware Google Maps will tell you to turn right onto 9th and really it is a left.

Container Stay in Salmon

Great views of the mountains to the east. Cozy property that is easy to get to and only a short drive to downtown. The only downside, albeit temporary, was noise from an adjacent new home build and the contractor using the Container Home's driveway to unload materials. That just seemed a bit presumptuous to us as guests.

Lovely home with an amazing view!

This container home was very clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Very unique experience and had everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet street and view from picture window is lovely. Thank you for hosting our stay!

The view and location of KarKen was outstanding! The bed was so comfortable after a very long day of travel. Everything we could possibly need was available, even farm fresh eggs. We will definitely be back.

Gorgeous view and convenient location

Place had everything our little family of four needed and a gorgeous Mountain View. Location was great and central for us as we had several activities in and out of town. I would definitely stay here again and recommend. Owner had great and swift communication. Also, fresh eggs were a great touch.

Great stay

This gem checks all the boxes and then some! We were looking for something unique and found it. The property is very easy to find and recognize, close to everything in Salmon, very clean, and comfortable and wow, what a view from the main window! I would stay at this location again with zero hesitation!
