B&B Samilù between Salerno, Amalfi and Paestum

The B&B Samilù is 7 km from Salerno "Costa d'Amalfi" airport, 5 km from the Battipaglia exit of the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway and 1.5 km from the sea. The structure is surrounded by a large, fenced, equipped garden. It is located in a strategic position to reach tourist destinations such as the Cilento coast, the archaeological area of Paestum, the Amalfi coast that can be reached with the Metrò del mare from Salerno, and Salerno just 20 minutes by car.

The B&B Samilù has an independent entrance for guests; the guest apartment is adjacent to the owner's home. It consists of a large living room with fireplace and TV, a double bedroom with TV, an equipped kitchen, a whirlpool tub.
Breakfast is included in the indicated price.

Direct access to common areas, patio and large garden, as well as free private parking.

Guests will be provided with material for tourist itineraries, cultural events, as well as useful information on roads, restaurants, pharmacies, markets, and anything else that may be required.

The property offers a garden area reserved for guests, a large and comfortable patio, bright rooms, private bathroom, courtesy service, free WiFi throughout the house, and SKY channels. Possibility in addition to the internal uncovered private parking, also of the covered parking solution, both free. Pets are allowed.

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa struttura per 3 giorni e ci siamo travati benissimo. La casa è molto grande, dotata di ogni comfort, con cucina superaccessoriata e grandi camere da letto. La colazione sia dolce che salata. Fuori c'è un grande giardino con gazebo dove si può fare colazione. Il proprietario molto gentile e disponibile, nelle camere c'erano anche dei benvenuti. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Ci ritorneremo.

Fabulous Two Night Stay

We had an exceptional stay at B & B Samilu. The home, with its' surrounding grounds, were just beautiful. The one bedroom apartment we stayed in was modern, very clean and spacious. It had everything you needed if you wanted to prepare meals yourself. The only thing better was the incredible host, Mimmo. You could not ask for a more helpful, friendly and generous host. He made you feel like you were part of his family. The B & B is in a quiet country setting with plenty of parking within the gates to the property. There is easy access in and out of the apartment and a nice patio with table and chairs to seat at outside and enjoy the well manicured grounds. We were provided with abundant fruit, pastries, breakfast items, coffee, juice, snacks, etc. We have never experienced a B & B apartment that was better stocked in over 25 years of travels to Europe. B & B Samilu is in a great location to visit the famous Greek ruins in Paestum, tour the many great buffalo mozzarella farms in the area or go to the nearby beaches. Also you are very close to Salerno to catch a short ferry ride to the towns on the Amalfi coast. Best to avoid driving the Amalfi coast because there is no parking on the narrow coastal roads and lots of slow moving traffic too. The area has many great and inexpensive restaurants within a 4-10 minute drive from B & B Samilu. We would highly recommend this B & B to anyone visiting the area.

Endroit très relaxe et acceuillant

Maison dans un milieu rural, mais les principales attractions facilement accessibles en voiture. Les 2 propriétaires sont absolument fantastiques, ils nous ont fait un acceuil parfait et leur disponibilité pour nous renseigner sur les activités, restaurants etc... très utiles. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Wunderschönes Haus mit erstklassiger Gastgeberin

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und wurden super betreut von der Gastgeberin Sabrina. Sie ist sehr hilfsbereit und stand uns immer zur Verfügung, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben. Im Haus war alles vorhanden, was man für einen Urlaub und Aufenthalt braucht. Wir können alles bestens weiterempfehlen.

Schöne Reise

Wir wurden überaus freundlich von Sabrina und ihrer Familie begrüßt und haben uns sofort wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung war toll, mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet inklusive allem was man zum Frühstück braucht. Täglich haben wir frisches Obst und Gemüse aus dem eigenen Garten bekommen. Die Unterkunft liegt strategisch optimal, nur 3 km vom breiten Sandstrand entfernt. Alle touristischen Ziele (Vesuv, Neapel, Pompeji & Paestum) waren sehr gut erreichbar. Sabrina hat uns mit guten Tipps für Restaurants inkl. der Reservierung tatkräftig unterstützt und war zu jederzeit erreichbar. Rund um gelungen, man kann es nur weiterempfehlen!!

Lovely quiet location and helpful owners

We very much enjoyed our stay and Sabrina is very kind and helpful. Clean and comfortable with easy access to lots of areas of the coast and inland. Mimmo her dad is simply delightful and we loved talking to him and being shown around his beautiful garden.

Location très bien situé et au calme

Grâce à Sabrina la propriétaire (sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité) notre séjour a été parfait dans l’appartement Samilu. L’appartement est d’une extrême propreté, calme , indépendant de la maison. En plus le petit déjeuner copieux est vraiment un plus. Les fruits du verger apportés par Mimo et Sabrina étaient juste succulents. Proche de la maison , la mer est à 5min de voiture et pour les enfants un parc aquatique (Aquafarm). C’est un bon départ aussi pour la cote amalficaine , Paestum ... bref nous recommendons cet B&B et nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir. Grazie mille Sabrina

Super nette, persönliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Perfekter, individueller Reiseführer via WhatsApp! Riesige, moderne Wohnung mit schönem Garten in geschlossener Anlage. Komplette und perfekte Ausstattung mit vollem Kühlschrank und Tomaten und Obst aus dem Garten!

A great B&B positioned perfectly for Amalfi, Herculeum, Pestum and the southern coast. 5 minutes from a great beach and waterpark. 10minutes from the Autoroute and rail station for fast access. The stay is in a seperate apartment giving privacy and also has a full kitchen to allow self catering. A great find and perfect hosts.

De gastheer Mimmo is voortreffelijk!! Heel gastvrij en attent. Stond ook altijd klaar voor ons, gaf goeie tips en adviezen. Ook zijn dochter Sabrina en haar man heeft ons heel goed geholpen. Tip, haar man is een hele goeie kok, hij heeft 2 keer voortreffelijk voor ons gekookt. Bij aankomst koelkast gevuld met flessen wijn, water, etc. Heel netjes en een mooi verzorgde woning. Heerlijk met de airconditioning. Ook lekker luxe elke ochtend een uitgebreid ontbijt klaarstond, met heerlijke cappuccino. Ook erg mooi verzorgde tuin. Om de paar dagen nieuwe handdoeken en tijdens ons verblijf werd geregeld de woning schoongemaakt. De woning lag maar 5 minuten van het strand af. Dank je Mimmo en Sabrina voor de mooie vakantie, die we niet zullen vergeten. We gaan jullie missen!!!Liefs Peter, Anita en Jennifer

Tolles Haus mit wunderschönem Garten !Sehr gastfreundlicher und liebevoller Gastgeber!

Wir hatten eine ganz tolle Zeit ! Ein schönes, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus, wunderbarer Garten , sehr leckeres italienisches Frühstück, liebevoll zubereitet von unserem Gastgeber Mimo. Ein weiter, goldener Strand ist in der Nähe, was die Unterkunft noch attraktiver macht. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke für alles,Mimo!

Een aanrader

Zeer positief door de uitstekende warme gastvrijheid van de eigenaar. Het huis is gelegen in een prachtige tuin vol met bloemen. Napels, de Vesuvius, Pompeii in het noorden, Paestum in het zuiden zijn allemaal binnen het uur te bereiken. De Amalfitaanse kust en Capri zijn ook goed bereikbaar via de boot wat ons was aangeraden door onze gastheer. Hij gaf ons vele tips om onze uitstappen optimaal te laten verlopen.

Wonderful house in a quiet area

In B&B Samilu we had a very big apartment with a spacious livingroom, extra bedroom and a well equipped kitchen. The garden was beautiful. Our host, Mimmo, was always there to help you with advise, where to go and how to get there. The rental fee was modest. So we definetely could recommend this place to stay.

Lovely Villa

My husband and I stayed at B&B Samilu for a week and loved it. Mimmo and Sabrina were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay- whether it was setting up dinner reservations or giving ideas on where to go for the day, we could always count on them for help and advice. The breakfasts were delicious, and we were even greeted with a stocked fridge which included two bottles of wine from Mimmo's vineyard, and a bottle of champagne. There are many beaches nearby as well as delicious restaurants. We enjoyed our time in Battipaglia and would love to come back again.
