Oceanfront luxury beach house with spectacular panoramic views located on Bay View Beach in Saco ME. This magnificent oceanfront home is situated at the Estates at Bay View, an exclusive, gated private development, located on Bay View Beach. The house is located on the oceanfront lot, so nothing can obstruct your 180-degree views spanning the 7-mile beach, from Pine Point, Old Orchard Beach, Ocean Park, Kinney Shores, to Camp Ellis and Wood Island Lighthouse - the views are just stunning!

The interior finishes of the house are truly spectacular, with wide tile plank floors throughout, radiant heat, top of the line appliances, all new furniture and bedding, this is simply as good as it gets.

The main floor consists of a 2 car garage, family room with slider out to the paver patio, full bathroom, two bedrooms, one with 2 bunk beds and the other with a queen bedroom with a slider out to the large paver patio, looking directly at the ocean.

As you ascend the stairs to the second floor, you walk into an open floor plan with breathtaking views from a wall of windows and every window has views of the ocean. Here you will find a deluxe kitchen, dining room, great room with a fireplace, and two large sliders out to a deck that runs the full length of the house. There is also a washer/dryer, full bath and a king size bedroom with a private balcony with direct views of the ocean. Pull the pocket door and you have yourself your own private master suite - the perfect place to get away from it all. During the summer, watch the weekly fireworks from the comfort of the great room or out on the deck.

On the third floor, you will find two generously sized master bedrooms, both having their own private balcony with direct views of the ocean, two full baths and a private office, for when you want to get a little work done or just want a quiet place to read a book.

This is not your typical vacation rental home. Serenity and the beauty of ocean await you at this luxury, oceanfront vacation retreat.

The owners of this property made sure our stay was amazing so very attentive to all our needs. We have traveled to Maine for years and this by far was the best experience we have had. You truly need to bring your clothing and swimsuits the house is very well appointed and spacious enough for everyone to have personal space. We are extremely grateful to our gracious host Melodee & Richard we hope to return to this beautiful paradise for our next family vacation.

Sibling reunion

A beautiful, spacious, clean and well equipped home. The beachfront location was spectacular. Seeing the sunrise from our beds every morning was incredible. This home wisely maximizes the view from each room. Would love to stay again sometime!

Vacation rental

This property and the owner Melodee were amazing. The views from the house are to die for. Even with a couple days of light rain and clouds, we were very much entertained with the game room and all the space in the house. We would definitely rent this property again and highly recommend to others.

The Absolute Best

We come back to Maine every fall for 7-10 days as a family. It’s a tradition that’s moving into a fourth generation. This year - 7 adults and two children - all agree that this one was the best. The main reason? This property. It is a stunning house that is carefully and so very nicely put together. It’s stocked for family meals, the cocktail hour, game night, great evenings around the fire pit, ….. you name it. Melodee was an outstanding host who communicated well throughout the process and stay. The location next to the beach just amplifies the experience. We started several mornings during our week stay with an early beach walk. Incredible. We are currently working on our calendars for next year to begin planning for Maine. We certainly hope that this house will be available.

Absolutely Amazing

We travel every summer to Maine and would rate this house the nicest house we've stayed at with the most breathtaking unobstructed views. The house was so clean and modern and had all the comforts of home. The couches and beds were all very comfortable and new. With only steps to a sandy beach, you never have to leave the house. They provided beach chairs, coolers, towels, toys and everything else you would need. You don't have to bring a thing! Palace Playland/Old Orchard Beach is a short drive down the street and there were plenty of dining options close by as well. But with such a great deck and beautiful views, why leave. We chose most nights to grill, and enjoy dinner and cocktails overlooking the ocean. There's a fantastic game room in the basement that was fun not only for the kids but the adults too. We had the opportunity to meet Melodee and Richard and it was a pleasure. They were able to give us the details and history of the house and surrounding area. Great hosts and we look forward to seeing them again. This definitely will not be the last time we stay here and already can't wait to return next year!

Another great stay!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home, and it was every bit as nice as our first stay. In fact, given the addition (since our last stay) of a gas firepit to the oceanfront deck - which was lovely - I would say this stay was even better. The house was also immaculately clean, just as it was when we first stayed. The hosts have been wonderful during both of our stays - providing loads of information and updates on area events (fireworks visible from the deck!). We would return in a heartbeat, and hope to have another opportunity to visit.

Family vacation

Paradise in Maine

There aren't many other words to describe our stay, that haven't already been mentioned in the other reviews. They set the bar pretty darn high, and in spite of that, our experience surpassed even those lofty expectations. The quality of the home is immaculate, the attention to detail is evident throughout, and that location! It doesn't get much better than the sound of the waves lulling you to sleep, and a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise. But with all that being said - it all starts with Melodee and Richard. Their passion for ensuring a positive experience was obvious - from the time they greeted us upon arrival, checked in to make sure we were comfortable, and the great local recommendations (Fielders Choice!). Thank you both for helping us make new family memories, we can't wait to visit again!

Amazing house!!

I don’t think I have enough words to describe this beautiful house. Perfect location - nice grassy lawn outside just steps from the beach. Family friendly layout - great kitchen/family room area with room for everyone, but bedrooms and other areas set off to allow for privacy. Top notch appliances, furniture, and decorations. So fun!! Great basement, toys for outside and the beach. Perfect for an amazing family vacation!!

Amazing property

From the first contact to check out, everything was seamless. The property is a decorators dream and the views are breath taking. The beach is clean sand and stretches atleast a mile in each direction. The house is so well equipped for everything you need outside and in. We made some amazing meals and when we didn’t feel like cooking- Melodee had provided us with excellent local options. Just a short drive to both Ogonquit and Portland - we were able to shop and brunch while our husbands enjoyed the local golf at the country club which they said was fantastic. We are not even going to try to out do ourselves next year, we will just come back here!!

fantastic property

Our family of 12 has been taking an annual vacation for the past 5 years, and this property far exceeds any other one we have stayed at. From the first day when Melodee and Richard were there to greet us and explain everything, to the last day when we spent the whole day on the beach right off the property, it was an unforgettable week. From the location; the kitchen that was equipped with anything we needed and more; the comfortable beds; the game room ( we had many rainy, cool days and this was a lifesaver !!); the office ( we had a few people that had to do some work remotely while we were there); all the beach items (chairs, towels, a cart to travel to and from the beach); and games (lawn dice, corn hole, puzzles) there wasn't anything missing. Melodee was very helpful with providing information on where to eat and activities to do nearby. Looking forward to booking again.

Spectacular Oceanfront Property

The house is absolutely gorgeous. Great layout and super convenient location going back and forth from the beach. The beach is extremely clean and goes for miles (great for walking and running.) Also, it never gets too busy so there's always plenty of space to spread out and play games. Same for the front lawn which is awesome for whiffle ball, Kan Jam, Cornhole (which is supplied.) The house really has everything you'd need. There's beach chairs, umbrellas, a cart for lugging things back and forth and plenty of toys for little ones. The owners are great and live nearby if anything comes up. Truthfully, we didn't need a single thing the entire week. The home has plenty of room to spread out, great outdoor spots to relax and get out of the sun, it's definitely one of the nicest homes & locations on the beach.

Our favorite vacation home so far

We've rented quite a few vacation properties over the years, in a variety of places, and I don't usually take the time to write a review, but this property was our favorite and deserves an exception. First, we found the location perfect - residential/not busy, but also not remote. We were able to reach shops and restaurants in less than 5 minutes. We also like to walk the beach, and were able to go a good distance in each direction - on relatively quiet stretches of beach. The views of the ocean from all levels of the house were amazing, and the deck furniture was high quality (solid furniture and thick cushions) and very comfortable. The basement games room really is as good as it looks in the pictures - and would've gotten more use if we'd not had such nice weather. Most importantly (to us, anyway), the house was exceptionally clean. ALL of the linens were clean - meaning not only the sheets, but the bed coverings. I'd also gotten in the habit of packing my own dish towels for rental vacations (after encountering some questionable ones), but I didn't need them here. There was a full drawer of fresh (and new) dish towels. There were also more beach and bath towels than we could possibly use in a week. Aside from the linens, the rest of the property was also spotless and well-kept. The worst part was having to leave such an amazing house and view, and we wished we could've stayed another week (as our week seemed to pass by in a flash!). We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great beach house

The house is 20 steps from the beach. It is as advertised in the listing. All the stuff you need to enjoy a great beach vacation is in the house. There is a great kitchen that is fully stocked. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious and well designed. Overall it was a great choice.

Our vacation was perfect. We were greeted by the owners that gave us a tour of the property, gave us extremely helpful tips on our location and they were so warm and welcoming it was a beautiful way to start our vacation, a slice of heaven for a week, just perfect!

Thoughtful design, perk on perk

It’s tricky to write a review of a property so spectacular you don’t want anyone else to know about it so that you can easily reserve it again. But, that would be unfair to the owners and unjust to the property. This gorgeous house has been lovingly decorated. It is IMMACULATE. The rooms feel spacious and the view is stunning. A beach walk is a few steps away from the back patio and the entrance to a preserve for a wooded hike is across the street and down the block. The kids spent hours in the game room, but appreciated multiple spaces and nooks to listen to music or read a book. The adults joined in with the kids for a tourney or two and also appreciated the space to be alone or together. Our family enjoyed a complex puzzle, a music competition and precious time appreciating life over cups of freshly brewed coffee. Amenities galore. Everything you could think you may need was already there. (Champagne stopper? Yes!) Written instructions were helpful, the owners supportive and the entire experience flawless. Looking forward to our next escape to this incredible property.

Amazing

We traveled with a family group of ten. The home was absolutely perfect for our needs. King bedrooms for all the adults with a wonderful bunk bedroom for the kids. We used the office as a nursery for the 5 month old and with the pack and play that was available and with all the blackout shades everyone slept soundly. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was even a beach cart to transport everything for a perfect day at the beach Melodee and Richard met us for check in and made themselves so available for all questions. They even had recommendations for restaurants and activities in the area. We had an unforgettable week and celebrated being together in a beautiful home situated in a beautiful part of Maine. Thank you for our perfect week.
