"The room and the hotel was great. It was like staying in a hotel in the 1800s but with modern comforts. Shops and restaurants within walking distance was nice. There were some homeless in the area and one of them was getting aggressive with us. Thankfully there were cops walking around and they came to our aid. So thankful for that."

"The hotel was undergoing some renovations. The TVs were not working on either night of my stay. If the TVs had been Smart TVs connected to the internet, the issue could have been avoided. It's difficult to say what the rating would be after the renovations."

"Very satisfied with this property. Well maintained and clean. Personable staff. Shared bathrooms impressively clean. Shared kitchen areas are well maintained with free coffee in the morning. Guest rooms have huge windows, TV, cable, internet. Its a simple, comfortable and safe place to stay and at a fraction of the price of other hotels further away from downtown."

"Homeless take over .. not safe for traveling alone . ..kids or in general. Paid for a double room..was missing a couch or recliner .. just a bug emptied space infront of the Air conditioner/heater n widow area .. like it wss still being in the **remodeling * process .. staff wss nice ..but didnt care about the homeless all over the property "

"My first night I checked in and my bathroom smell like marijuana so I complain and they upgraded me for free to a bigger room with its own private entrance and extending a few more days just because I enjoyed that."
