Great Place, But Not Stay Ready
We've enjoyed this property twice now and we like it, but both times we've had issues. The first time we had lukewarm water, just barely warm enough to shower for a few seconds. The last time there was no hot water at all because the water heater was completely off. The owner was nice enough to come out late to turn on the gas and re-light the pilot, but the water never got warm enough to shower and the water heater let off a bad burning smell. We ended up heating water on the stove to hand wash ourselves and the kids. The play room is nice for the kids and honestly the reason we paid the higher price vs other properties, but not having hot water would have been a deal breaker if we had known. I've tried for weeks to get at least a partial refund but I can't make any progress on that. I'd be interested in staying here again if the owner deals with the maintenance issues, but until then we'll have to go for other properties in the area.
